you can just trace over real pictures at the same scale, it requires about as much skill as copying and editing some junior general templates but you get something that feels a bit less like stealing (copyright of the photos aside)

That is true, although it's harder to do in paint, maybe easier in photoshop. As well, you can maybe find a program that converts stuff to 16 bit or so, and just fill in the blanks yourself to make it look pretty. Although I have yet to find a good converter xD

Literally any program that has layers works just fine. It's not that complicated. But just drawing with reference pasted alongside works fine too, and can be done in MS paint.

For me, even drawing a straight line is difficult and it always comes out squiggly. I honestly would be better tracing something in real life and uploading it to edit it than trying to trace it on paint. xP

Maybe it's just me, idk. o.o

How do people draw straight lines. Like it always turns out bad. I would need some sort of good editor too like, at least to make color swaps easier.

The IIS of the Novgrad Municipal Police is dispatched for situations beyond the capabilities of regular law enforcement, such as high-risk warrant service, hostage situations, counter-terrorism, and riot control.

I used the base and gun from this tutorial. I added a vest, a rail and M68 CCO to the rifle, and, most importantly, the glorious Kosanian flag.

I mean it never really turns out straight, and it's hard to make say, a particular shape like an arm or leg, or head or chest etc.

The underbarrel magazine really tends to work better due to balance, and the wood is a nice feature to give it that old timey look. xP

Thanks man:) kinda stole the undermagazine from the MP 3008s design, added a Sten MkV style sighting arrangement to go with a Mk.2 Frame, and that little "grip" if you could call it that just for uhhh extra grip haha

Grazie! however due to the changing to a more complex expensive magazine system, I am unsure of the folding magazine capabilities, however yes! It is select fire!

Your lighthorse regiments will receive them immediately upon payment of 75 Kade per gun ;)

Consider the payment on the way...for mounted infantry ( horse then Jeeps and trucks) the idea of a light select fire weapon with more punch and range than a 9mm parabellum or luger is a natural fit. From what I have read the weapon you based it off of was a fairly capable weapon.

I look forward to it,

I was watching the Forgotten Weapons video on the Kiraly and immediately I just fell in love, especially since it used 9x25mm Mauser.
The original is such a beauty.

The F-39 Jupiter suborbital interdiction picket was the pinnacle of 21st-century warplane design. Its role was to continuously patrol UN airspace at very high altitude, forming part of a readiness network able to respond to threats from any vector. To facilitate its week-long patrols, the nuclear-powered aircraft was heavily automated, and carried a crew of two who could take shifts or work as a pilot/RIO team in combat. It also acted as a hub for RQ-44 Remora drones, which extended its sensor range and filled the gaps in manned aircraft coverage.

Although capable of deploying air-to-ground PGMs, the F-39 was considered a strategic air defense asset and was not usually equipped or tasked for ground-attack missions; those types of missions were the domain of tactical aircraft able to adapt to the mission at hand.

F-39s served for a long time in various iterations, and the F/S-39 Jupiter Pathfinder was the first NATO ground-based combat aircraft deployed on an extrasolar planet. By the 23rd century it was augmented by the orbit-capable F-53 Zeus interceptor.

This. Doing something on your own, even if it's just redrawing a photo or something of an RL item, feels a bit more "official" to me. I tend to do that with some stuff, and then carve out and redraw the original trace to get something that stands out.

On that note, smol tank.

Image

Also made the flamethrower tank shoot flamey flames.

Image

I still do occasionally edit other stuff, usually if I know I can't do it on my own. Did that with a shipbucket scale naval vessel, since I've never done a ship before, and I'm not really familiar with the scale.

Image

I have trouble with cables, so I removed them for now until I can get a layout that works. Anyways, for a mash-up of some other ships, it's not too bad, is it?

After messing around with them some, I think I got the basics of Shipbucket scale down now, so I intend to make an original ship from scratch for my next naval vessel - either a destroyer, light cruiser, or submarine. I just figured it would be best to try an edit/frankenstein for the first ship, since it's literally my first attempt at an actual ship, and not a Star Trek vessel.
