Voidjammers are the distant descendants of the 1st millennium's windjammers and the 2nd millennium's lightjammers. They are the sailors of the stars, finding their own ways through the black. The ships are built to be adaptive, with onboard minds and nanotech facilities enabling them to react and refit in response to any situation. The plan for voidjammers was always for them to have long service lives, but they have proved unexpectedly determined to survive.
Although nominally civilian ships, voidjammers carry respectable armaments, and out beyond the furthest stars, there's nothing to prevent crews tapping into stranger, and more powerful, energies to fuel their guns.

Roko's Basilisk was one of the earlier voidjammers to be launched. It saw many adventures on its way, most of which are recorded in the ship's log and nowhere else.
In the 15th millennium, the then-captain of the ship, Michelle Lanaki, abandoned the ship in orbit of an uncharted star and disappeared. During the starship's long slumber, much changed in the world - in that region of space, particularly. Voidjammers were long forgotten save as things of myth and wonder, and the reason for their creation became the basis for speculation, at best. In the end, the ship was recovered by Jay Pelecki, a knight out of Cayd Rock in the E Pollux system, who required its services in her quest to find an ancient artifact.
The starship's ultimate fate is unknown. It did not respond to the recall to Eyrie Station when the last stars burned out, but the last-gasp transponder did not transmit a report of its loss. The last record found of it is an entry in the Cayd Rock dockmaster's log, which notes its departure under Pelecki's command - destination not given.

whats the tech era? if its mid ft and its in space you could use zeropoint energy as space is a vacume. thenyou can build larger ships with a rear hanger bay. could you send me a large blank hul and i could help.

Oh, don't give up, stop mocking yourself.

You should at least try, and if you have, you can't succeed on the first try, so just try it out and practice, I suppose, though I'm probably not going to become a "lineart-lots" person
