Each Incumbent Diva of Glamour since 2001 has been implanted with a "Glitch-Switch", which comprises of a vibrating pad above her left breast, the activation of which by her military advisors signifies to the Diva that an international, national or regional emergency of gravity significant enough to warrant consideration of the implementation of Anvil by her military advisors has arisen. The intelligence cabinet (Xerox) brief the Diva after she responds in kind to this activation by indicating that she is to be whisked away into private by her bodyguards, also Xerox operatives. After being briefed, the Diva communicates her decision on behalf of the sovereign Glamazonian people to implement the activation of Anvil, and proceeds to the Remedial Situational Address Room, where all government officials and international ambassadors of significance retreat to before being swiftly directed to the correct bloc of the underground infrastructure so as to ensure the most efficient differentiation of service as is possible. The inclusion of ambassadors in the Remedial Situational Address Room facilitates negotiations over international issues, but they are subject to personal and extensive frisking before entry is permitted.

The Diva usually communicates via Xerox representatives and not via the use of her own personal handheld e-mail server, due to the ability of the media or other parties to intercept these communications. The purpose of the Glitch Switch is to notify her before any overt communication with her representative bodyguards has taken place as to the grave security nature of the impending situation, and to focus her mind on whether massive resource and potential civil unrest should be risked by calling for Anvil to be implemented, even before she is briefed. It also indicates to her that no matter which activity she is engaged in, she must abandon it, and a failure to do so means that responsibility passes onto the Chief Justice, three party Prime Ministerial coalition officials, or tribal Speaker of the House. The Congress of 200 members of the public in rotation has constitutionally agreed to allow itself to be excluded from these proceedings so as to minimise disagreement and non-expert input. As the Glamazonian population are their own Head of State, and the Diva a personification of their will, she risks being publicly disgraced and exiled if the decision taken is incorrect or delayed, either to take action or to take none. Even if the responsibility of this decision is passed onto other governmental representatives because of her failure to act swiftly, the primary responsibility for such a decision nevertheless rests with her.

The strategic arms of the Navy (based at the South of Glamour) and the Air Force (based at the North) along with the Diva, control the activation of Anvil and of the Iron Dome-style missile defence system over Glamazonian territory (named the Bell Jar) in conjunction with one another. Before the Diva has been briefed in conference with both the Southern and Northern Stations - automatically, when such a briefing is required and the Glitch-Switch is activated - the missile defence system shall initiate and all Glamazonians shall be directed indoors and thereby to the nearest entrance to the underground infrastructure. The Diva will then, once en route to the Remedial Situational Address Room, orchestrate and define the necessity of activating Anvil so as to bring alerted citizens underground also. Self-driving vehicles are only redirected, and the emergency address only issued, once Anvil has been implemented, to minimise unnecessary risk to public order. Once both Military Stations, and the Diva with the backing of Xerox, have decided that it is necessary to implement Anvil in addition to the Bell Jar, each station will input their part of the code as well as the Diva doing so in the Remedial Situational Address Room, to which end the Anvil alert process begins and vaults open fully to the public. This annual event ensures not only the working capability of the system, but also is broadcast as a "dress rehearsal" for the public, and politically serves as an example of the Diva's ability to not only showcase a readiness for protective and strong leadership, but also as a means for her to release stress and remain emotionally transparent with the public in a performance known as "Glamour's Anguish", where she displays the need for peace yet readiness for war through playing out a publicised role in this dress rehearsal. If, after briefings and once the Diva is secure within the Remedial Situational Address Room, the threat could be considered irretrievably large-scale and/or nuclear, chemical or biological in nature - or if it is concretely established before the Diva is briefed that any of these are in probability the case - then the above processes are initiated, with the exception that the reserve weaponry is not air-dropped, but instead is transported into the underground infrastructure, and the reserves undergo intense training underground so as to serve as a force as near to actual military capability as possible after the activation of Anvil. Civilian recruitment into the reserves at this point is also maximised, with little need for propaganda of any description due to the life-altering events that Anvil implementation causes.

We are not above seeking to hide our faces from the untold horror that is coming over this Earth. We are by no means unprepared to do so, and this is but one more small step that we must take in our huge leap towards the cosmos."

A pre-recorded repetition then plays: "Please retreat to your nearest Anvil anchor point within [appropriate timescale] or face unfortunate exclusion. The population of Glamour will now go underground", repeats twice, interspersed after each repetition with one of a series of messages which elaborates minimally on the exact nature of the threat - natural, military, radioactive, or otherwise unknown. The messages are designed to invoke the spirit of The Day of the Black Sun, and to showcase the true nature of Glamour's Anguish in the Diva, so as to promote speedy and co-operative retreat. Following the sealing of the vaults, continuation of government is withheld with greater public participation than even that which was in Glamour's peace-time political structure, and future steps necessary in the survival and evolution of the Glamazonian population are discussed.

It is very efficient, but there have been times where it didn't work, like when the system was first used. In 1960, the NEPA failed to warn people in the north of Viejas of an imminent flood. Around 40 died, and 4 villages were lost.

Katajóré (K) 1- Small floods or fires which may cause harm if not controlled.
Katajóré 2- Large floods, small wildfires.

What mediums can it broadcast on? All devices cleared for release by the Amsertenic government must be able to broadcast the Emergency Warning System.

Which government office manages it? Local Authorities (GGB), The Temporal Magisters (TLWS)

How efficient is it? Was there ever a time where it was misused and caused panic, or it was failed to be activated and put people in danger? The first emergency warning system (GGB) has reported falsely, as the local authorities can be inept during their tests. The latter one (TLWS) has never reported falsely, as it is tied to the status of the Timeloop Device, ensuring that only whenever that fails will the latter warning system trigger.

What are the emergency categories? There are three forms of emergency warnings. The first two are reported by the GGB. First are [GENERAL WARNING] level, which covers anything that would occur on a normal planet, such as a miudquake, a flood or a drought. The second are [TEMPORAL WARNING] level. Not the same as the ones released by the Temporal Magisters, these warnings are just for events unique to Miud, such as extra-long droughts caused by too much sunlight on the daytime half of Miud, stasis-quakes caused by the effects of prolonged temporal stasis on plate tectonics, or time storms. These, however, are all minor compared to the major emergency of the TLWS. The only emergency that is broadcast by the latter warning system is timeloop failure, designated [CATASTROPHIC-LEVEL EVENT]. It would release Amserten from stasis, and the entire planet of Miud would be subject to the wrath of The Eternal Threat.
