AFP still stands on its very strict military training, giving the nation its very elite and physically and morally fit men and women to serve the nation. The modernization greatly enhances the AFP by giving to Pekweng some of the finest and most credible military equipment.

Handling Threats:Corruption within the higher ranks are believed to be one of the main reasons why modernization of the armed forces has remained stagnant for decades. The country is subject to porous borders and coastlines, which place constraints are posed on the acquisition of long-range radar systems, which require multilateral assistance due to limited defense funds. Additionally, the production, development, procurement and servicing of satellite technology is deemed as cost prohibitive.

Rank insignia: (how the ranks are worn)
Officers:
These are unitary rank insigina used in the everyday, combat, duty and technical uniforms both on shoulders and collars (the latter in the khaki uniforms of the Navy), but in the semi-dress, dress and mess uniforms are different: The Army, Air Force and Marine Corps use unitary rank insignia on the shoulder board but the Navy uses the very same rank insignia format as in the US Navy except for the star (for Ensigns to Captains) in almost all officer uniforms and all general officer and flag officer shoulder boards in the full dress uniform are in gold colored backgrounds with the rank insignia and the AFP seal (the star arrangement is the same in the Army, Air Force and Marines but is different in the Navy). The Navy uses sleeve insignia only on its dress blue uniforms. Lieutenants and Captains wear 1 to 3 triangles (and Navy Ensigns and Lieutenants (junior and senior grades) in their working, duty and combat uniforms) while Majors, Lieutenant Colonels and Colonels wear 1, 2, and 3 suns (both triangles and suns have the ancient baybayin letter ka (K) in the center) as well as Navy superior officers (Lieutenant Commanders, Commanders and Captains) in their working, duty and combat uniforms respectively.

Enlisted:
The AFP, like the military forces of Singapore and Indonesia, uses unitary rank insignia for enlisted personnel, in the form of raised chevrons increasing by seniority, save for the Pekweng Air Force which uses inverted chevrons from Airman 2nd Class onward only since recently. In the Pekweng Navy these are supplemented by rating insignia by specialty, similar to the United States Navy. Like the British and Spanish armed services, however, senior ranked NCOs (especially in the Navy) also wear shoulder rank insignia only on the mess, semi-dress and dress uniforms, and in some cases even collar insignia. Like the US military all NCOs wear sleeve stripes to denote years of service in the enlisted ranks. Sleeve insignia for enlisted personnel in the Army and the Navy are similar but are different from those used in the US while those in the Marine Corps mirror its US counterpart but with special symbols from Master Sergeants onward.
Other information: None.

THIS NATION USES A FEW NS STATS
This nation is Hyperdimension and Ultradimension in the Neptunia universe, where the nations decided to become a union à la European Union. This is set in MT, although the tech level is early PMT. What would you expect? It's Neptunia.
Do you even Nep, bro?

Military History
Brief history: (maybe 2-5 short paragraphs) Appalachia maintains a general policy of isolationism, the military only existing for self-defense purposes. The nation has only had its independence for about 30 years. Thus there isn't a very long military history to discuss. The only exception is the Overmountain Assault group, the army's special forces, which has on occasion engaged in joint counterrorism missions abroad and is the only military unit of Appalachia to ever be deployed outside its borders.
First military battle: Appalachia-Confederate border disputes, two years after independence
Belligerents: Appalachia against the militias of Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia.
Casualties: 14 Appalachians. Tennessee: 24, Alabama: 2, South Carolina: 10, Georgia: 1
Latest military battle: Children of the Mountains insurgency
Belligerents: Appalachia, against an extremist Christian, anti-government terrorist group called the Children of the Mountains
Casualties: 71 federal forces, 102 members of various provincial militias. Unknown number of insurgents, believed to be about 500.

Military Leadership
Commander in Chief: President William J. Early
Chief of Military: Richard Masters, General of the Armies
Chiefs of Military Branches:

Army: (full name, title and rank) Carroll Goodman, General of the Army
Navy: (full name, title and rank) Not applicable, Appalachia is a landlocked nation and because of our mountainous terrain there aren't long enough sections of navigable waterways to justify a separate naval branch. The army handles what few marine patrols are needed.
Air Force:(full name, title and rank) Susanna Myers, General of the Air Force
Each of the 15 provincial militias has its own commander.

Senior military leadership: (full name, title and rank, list them as many as you can)
Deputy Gen. Romulus McPherson - Commander of the Overmountain Assault Group
Deputy Gen. Paul Marty - Commander of the Border Guard
Sergent-Major of the Air Force Avery Blinkson
Sergent-Major of the Army Michael Fitzpatrick
Maj. Gen. Armando Moreno - Head of the Army Engineers
Brig. Gen. Barry James - Commander of the Military Police, which includes the President's guard.

Advanced Military Information
Unified Commands: (list them as many as you can)
Military-wide support and affiliate units: (list them as many as you can)
Military Intelligence Office
Unified Supply Command

Handling Threats: If Military intelligence receives news about a direct terrorist threat, the Overmountain Assault Group is generally the first to be deployed.
National Policies: Isolationism. An avoidance of military pacts and treaties, even with neighboring nations
Modernization: The most advanced sector of the military is the CLAWS Radar-and-satellite based Early Warning System capable of detecting incoming rockets at up to an hour before impact
Military ranks: (list them by your language followed by English)
Private/Airman, Private/Airman First Class, Corporal/Senior Airman, Junior Sergeant, Staff Sergent, Master Sergeant, Deputy Sergent, Sergent Major. Military History
Brief history: (maybe 2-5 short paragraphs) The precursor to the Remnant Military was the ancestor defensive militias that would later become the Sentinels, the URA's special operations force. These militias were surviving soldiers recruited to defend the city of Olympia from passing raiders and bandits. As the URA grew, and as this militia grew, it came to include a system of distinction between elite soldiers and regular foot troops recruited from the city's population.

Eventually, as the URA become a nation in its own right, this militia was codified as the Remnant Military and gave rise to the Army as well as the Sentinels. The Navy and Air Force came soon afterward simultaneously as the URA gained both aircraft and naval vessels. In their reserve time, these soldiers would help keep security of the URA's borders, however when the nation became too large, the Coast Guard and Border Patrol were erected to assisted, and they eventually merged into the Border Guard, which took up the purpose of defending the URA's borders.

The National Intelligence Agency, or NIA, became the URA's intelligence-gathering center as it was established at the same time as the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Police, which acted as the URA's internal security and policing organizations, thus relegating reserve soldiers to assist these organizations rather than act in their place. Eventually, the National Police and FBI merged into the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement, the FBIE, and after the Ranger Uprising, where one of the two FBIE directors was assassinated, the FBIE was reorganized into the Internal Security Agency, the ISA.

The Sentinels grew as a special operations force, and soon came to stand with the Vanguard, a special force comprising soldiers made up of power armored soldiers. They were joined by the Marshals, a smaller group of undercover and black operations troops made for covert missions. Eventually, these forces were organized under Remnant Operational Command, the ROC.

The last of the branches, the Special Containment Agency, or SCA, was established with the intent of acting on intelligence from the NIA and recruited personnel from the Marshals and Sentinels to form units which could act on intelligence involving supernatural or extremely-dangerous phenomena.

All of these branches are supported by a legion of Remnant Military personnel that belong to no specific branch, such as the Government Corps, Special Medical Corps, Cyberwarfare, CBRN, Fire Rescue, Research and Development, Strategy and Logistics, and Satellite Operations and Communications.

Remnant Support Forces Command(SUFOCOM)
Remnant Aerospace Defense Command(RADCOM)

Cyberwarfare Corps

Fire Rescue Corps
Freedom Star
Remnant Aerospace Defense Corps

Handling Threats: The URA has a strict view of border security and makes a priority of the security of the URA's interests both home and abroad. The URA, while for a long time having a veteran, battle-hardened military force, has recently taken to the usage of the growing Contracted Personnel Division's mercenary personnel as well as the reliance on member states of the Greater Remnant Co-Prosperity Sphere. The Remnant Military has since taken to domestic defense of the URA's land and waters, and the members of the GRCS under the direct influence of the URA.
National Policies: Olympia Accords, CPD Charter
Modernization: There are currently no plans on modernization as the URA's military is heavily modernized and using cutting-edge technology due to the excess of funding and the presence of local megacorporations offering low-rate deals to the Remnant Military. The current modernization goals are to standardize the CPD, utilize foreign GRCS military units, and cut down on extraneous foreign military installations.

- Secretary of Defense: No insignia exists for this position. This is an appointed position that can be held by any official.
- President: While no insignia exists for this position, a customary representation of the position is the flag of the URA. This is an elected position that could be held by anyone.

MILITARY FORCES TRAINING AND INFORMATION SURVEY
Basic Information
Full Name of Nation: The Most Serene Confederation of the Merchant Republics
Head of State: Triumvirate power is shared between Primarchs Vidorian Cataclan, Cassandra Owens and Marcus Antillius Kaine
Name of Military: The Celestial Legions/The Celestial Navy; Confederation Military Command Council
Military Branches: All Legions and Republic Auxilia act as their own independent branches operating under the overarching command of the CMCC (C-MAC as the Legionaries call it). Within the CMCC their is a division of authority between the Ground Command (LANCOM) and Aerospace Command (NAVCOM). Legion is used to describe both ground and space forces although usually space forces use the modifier of "Naval Legion" and are formally referred to as the Celestial Navy as well as having their own distinct command structure.
Within the Legions there is a further informal division between "Mobile" and "Guard" specialized ground forces, one being specialized for highly mobile aggressive combined arms deployment and the other defensive and structurally focused respectively.
Chief of Military: Civillian: Primarch Vidorian Cataclan, Military: Grand Marshall Johannes Tyberis Ferreclad
Number of Active Personnel unknown due in part to the nature of the Republics; estimated 900 Million. The Legions themselves comprise only around 400 million personnel. The remainder being active duty auxilia like planetary militia.
Number of Reserved Personnel: unknown; all Citizens and former Legionaries are considered to be part of the Reserves and many Republics have annual mandatory training. However since conscription is illegal even in calling up these reserves, it remains to be seen how many could be called up if necessary. Estimates predict approximately an additional 3.9 billion Mercatorum would be able and willing.

Military Enlistment
Is military conscription is compulsory or voluntary? Conscription is unconstitutional, that said four or more years of military/public service is a requirement for citizenship. However one can always choose to live without citizenship either as a freeman or a dependent of another citizen.
Age of conscription: n/a
Is there a pre-military training in your country? (like ROTC,JROTC...) Military acadamies and schools tend to offer programs like this, usually providing free tuition on the provision that their graduates become officers.
Military age: The minimum recruiting age for military service is 18.
Officer Cadet School: Yes, there are numerous naval and military acadamies across the Republics.
Do you observe the four-class cadet system? We are unfamiliar with it.
How many years of training to become an officer? Most Military Academies offer a co-educational course in a 4 year program. Concentrated officer training for those who are looking to become career military officers takes two years instead.
Do you accept female trainees? Yes. Though underrepresented among ground forces and marines where high physical requirements bar many female applicants, they infact are overrepresented slightly as naval officers and pilots.

Military Leadership
Commander in Chief: Primarch Vidorian Cataclan
Chief of Military: Grand Marshall Johannes Ferresclad
Chiefs of Military Branches: NAVCOM: Fleet High Marshall Elaine Trebizond, LANCOM: Field High Marshall Yokuda Kiraga

Advanced Military Information
Unified Commands: As stated the Confederation Military Command Council as well as NAVCOM and LANCOM.
Military-Wide Support and Affiliate Units: There are countless auxilia and support units, mostly comprising the local militias and planetary defence forces of the Confederation, whom may be levied in wartime to provide auxiliary forces for the Legions. Several Republics are known for fielding superior auxilia in particular roles, notably artillery regiments from Ausgusta Prime, Scout Specialists from Serenica and Low-Gravity Troopers from Narcissica.
In some instances the Great Mercenary Companies of the Merchant Republics may also be hired or seconded to the Legions (often in lieu of levied militia troops), this may even include in some cases the ranks of the Corsairs and other nearly piratical organizations though generally such associations are off-the-books and discrete.
In addition some guilds have been known to volunteer their own security forces to the Legions in times of need; notably the Knights-Paladin of St Michael's Order-Militant, a support force of peacekeepers primarily interested in the protection of civilians and refugees in times of war, as well as Brothers and Sisters from the Collegium that provide medical and chaplaincy services.

Military Ranks and Insignia:

Unified Command Officers
Grand Marshall: Highest Position in all Mercatorum Forces second only to the Commander in Chief
Field/Fleet High Marshall: Highest Position of either LANCOM or NAVCOM, responsible for direction of procurement, appointing new commanders and other grand strategic level decisions.
Fleet/Field Marshall: Appointed to command wherever two or more Legions are engaged on a single front. Otherwise they fulfil subordinate roles to their High Marshalls.

Strategic Officers (Field)
Legatus: Commander of a Legion and any auxillias attached to it, usually has a high degree of autonomy over his command, answering only to the CMCC and the Field High Marshall, unless a part of a front with multiple legions, in which case he is placed under the authority of the Field Marshall.
Prefectus Principalis/First Prefect: The most senior/skilled prefectus under the Legate, his default Second-in-Command
Prefectus: Equivalent to a Colonel, leads a Prefect of the army, roughly equivalent to a regiment.
Questar Equivalent to a Major, leads a Cohort roughly equivalent to a battalion. Likely the closest Strategic Officer to the field at any given time. This rank is also given to any officers involved in strategic administrative decisions like procurement and training. An Auxilia Officer of sufficient rank or commanding a sufficient number may be named a Questar Auxilia.

Tactical Officers (Field)
Centurion Primus: Elected from among the Centurions, the Primus is typically the most experienced officer and makes necessary tactical decisions within the Cohort as well as leading the most experienced or elite Century.
Centurion: Leads a Century (roughly a Company) in all tactical matters. He is the principal point of contact most enlisted men have with the officers.
Optione Principalis: Second to the Centurion within the Century roughly a First Lieutenant
Optione Miles: Other military officers within the Century, advisors to the Centurion.
Optione Auxilia: Any officer of an auxiliary force deployed in the field, is subordinate to all ranks above. Though they may in emergency issue orders to enlisted men.
Optione Immunes: Any officer with specialized duties within the Cohort such as Chief Engineers, Quartermasters, Chaplains and Doctors. So named as they immune from regular service and duties.

Enlisted (Field)
Decanus: Roughly equivalent to a Sargent, elected from his squad to act as a leader and represent them to the Centurion. If incapacitated rank transfers to the next most senior Legionary until a new vote can be held.
Specialist: Any soldier who performs a specific duty within the Cohort such as scouts, cooks, medics, sharpshooters, artillerymen and vehicle crew. They may issue orders to the Legionaries necessary to the accomplishment of their roles.
Legionary: The most basic enlisted rank of the Legion in the field.
Miles Auxilia: Any soldier serving alongside the Legion as auxilia, whether mercenary or militia. They are functionally subordinate to any Legionary, though in practice most will lean on the authority and experience of Mercenaries.
Initiate: Never seen in the field, prior to having completed basic training all soldiers are known as initiates.

---------------------------------------------

Naval Officers (Fleet)
Legate Admiral/Grand Admiral: The Commander of a Naval Legion often called a Grand Admiral for clarity.
Prefectus Principalis The Second in Command of a Naval Legion, usually in command of a secondary flagship in case the fleet needs to separate. Similar to a Vice Admiral.
Prefectus: Command individual battlegroups of ships within the fleet. Rough equivalent of a Commodore or Rear Admiral
Triarchus: Commander of a large ship, usually cruiser-class and above. Referred to as "captain" on board. In some cases may lead a smaller battlegroup or flotilla during long range-patrols. A Triarchus serves as the XO to an Admiral's or Praefectus' ship commanding the ship while they command the battle group.
Captain: Commander of a smaller ship class from frigate down to corvette class vessels.
Optione Principalis: First Officer, serves as the executive officer and second-in-command on board of a ship when commanded by a Triarchus or Captain. In some case the Optione Principalis may serve as Captain while the Triarchus manages the flotilla.
Optione Auxilia: Any officers from auxiliary forces, including the captains or admirals of auxiliary vessels and fleets, fall under this rank and are subordinate to all Fleet Commanding and Executive Officers.
Optione Classiarus: Any ship level officer involved in strategic decisions, including the Optione Volanarius (commander of the strike and launch craft) Chief Engineering, Science and Medical Officers as well as Marine Centurions.
Optione Immunes: Ship officers immune from basic work duties that serve specialized roles; again including medical, science and engineering officers, as well as others like chaplains and morale officers.

Enlisted (Fleet)
Decanus: Roughly equivalent to a Sargent, elected from his section (of crew, marines, pilots or specialists) to act as a leader and represent them in any shipwide meetings. If incapacitated rank transfers to the next most senior Marine or Crewman until a new vote can be held.
Volanarius: Pilots of strike and launch craft, enjoy a rank above specialist due to their exceptional importance.
Specialist: Any soldier who performs a specific duty within the Cohort such as scouts, medics, sharpshooters, artillerymen and vehicle crew. They may issue orders to the Legionaries necessary to the accomplishment of their roles.
Legionary Classiarus/Marine: Troops specialized in exo-atmospheric and ship-borne combat, may press and command crewmen to assist in repulsing attackers.
Crewman: The most basic enlisted rank of the Legion on board of a ship. Fulfilling all manner of roles within the ship and trained to basic military competency in arms.
Miles Auxilia: Any auxiliary serving on board a ship alongside others. A fairly rare sight. More often Auxilia serve on their own ships.
Initiate: Rarely seen on board, prior to having completed basic training all soldiers are known as initiates and hold equal rank. They may be trained on board in some circumstances particularly for marines.

Military History
Brief history: (maybe 2-5 short paragraphs) Isle´ish military history is usually divided into three periods:
Pre-Horatian Age (Until the 1830s): The Military was in the hand of local lords who would raise "Retinues", usually organized into Squadrons, Batteries and Battalions as largest units. Multiple local Retinues would be combined into Armies to fight.
Horatian Age (1827-1936): The Royal Army is officially founded in 1827, and all units are formalized in 1836. All Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry units are organized into Regiments (Most of which continue to exist today). Under Horatio I and Horatio II, the Isles turn into an effective military dictatorship, with Officers occupying most civilian offices and the Grand Thing (Parliament).
Post-Horatian Age (From the 1940s): The Isle´ish State is democratized after the death of Horatio II (1936). The Grand Thing is re-created (After being "In-Active" since 1865), but the military still remains in control of many government functions today.

First military battle: The Royal Armys first combat was the Battle of Middlesex in 1827.
Belligerents: The Royal Army under Horatio I Vs The King´s Retinue under Edward IV
Casualties: <200 from the Royal Army, ~1.050 from the King´s Retinue

Military ranks: (list them by your language followed by English)
General Officers
General/Admiral/Air Marshal (G-IV) – Their exist four permanent Generals and one permanent Admiral and Air Marshal each. These are in charge of the six "Directories" (Branches). Some G-IV Officers are usually breveted (Promoted temporarily) to this rank when they are in charge of a Theatre Command. Their insignia is four crossed swords (Similiar to those in our flag)

Leftenant General/Vice Admiral/Vice Marshal (G-III) – These are also typically Staff Officers and in charge of a Department (Division of a Directory). In the Field, Commanders of Expeditionary Corps are usually breveted to this rank.

Major General/Rear Admiral/Group Commander (G-II) – The Highest Non-Staff Rank within the Royal Army. A Major General is usually in charge of a Division (~30.000 Men), a Rear Admiral in charge of a Squadron (5 in the Royal Navy, 3 DESRONs and 2 SUBRONs), a Group Commander is in charge of an Air Group (up to 180 Aircraft)

Brigadier/Commodore/Wing Commander (G-I) – Brigadiers are usually in charge of a Brigade. Commodores command Flotillas (Their currently exist 9 Destroyer Flotillas, 1 Cruiser Flotilla & 5 Submarine Flotillas). Wing Commanders command a Wing (up to 60 Aircraft).

Officers
Colonel/Captain of the Line/Air Colonel (O-VI) – This has basically become a non-existent rank today. It is only rarely given out as a brevet but usually just skipped during promotions. The "Colonelcys" are usually given out to retiring Leftenant Colonels or for temporary Task Force Commanders.

Leftenant Colonel/Post-Captain/Squadron Commander (O-V) – Leftenant Colonels are usually in charge of a Regiment/Battalion (Which are considered the same in the Royal Army). A Post-Captain (Usually just called "Captain" or "Skipper") commands a War Ships of Destroyer level upwards, and a Squadron Commander a twelve aircraft squadron. Within their respective units, the O-Vs usually have quite a reputation as they are the highest level officers that normal soldiers encounter on a regular basis. O-Vs also act as Brigade/Flotilla/Wing Chief-of-Staffs, and might also do so on the Divisional Level (Though the O-Vs in these positions are more senior). On the Expeditionary Corps Level, they lead Staff Departments (Ad-Hoc Work Groups within the Staff), with 8-10 O-Vs assigned to a Theatre Staff.

Major/Commander/Senior Section Commander (O-IV) – One O-IV usually exists within a Regiment/Ship/Squadron as the XO. Commanders in the Navy sometimes also command smaller war ships (Patrol Boats) and Support Ships. A Senior Section Commander (SSC) is in charge of a section of three aircraft while in the air and the Squadrons Ground Team while on the Ground. They appear more frequently in Staff Positions, with 1 as Deputy Chief-of-Staff on the Brigade Level, 8 Staff Department Heads on the Divisional Level, and 20-25 as Senior Aide-de-Camps on the Expeditionary Corps Level.

Captain/Leftenant Commander/Junior Section Commander (O-III) – In the Army, Captains usually command a Company/Squadron/Battery of ~200 Men. A Leftenant Commander in the Navy is in charge of one of the four major departments of the ship (Engineering, Operations, Weapons, Logistics). A Junior Section Commander (JSC) commands a section of three planes, with their usually being two per Squadron. Captains are the most junior officers on higher-level staffs. Within an individual Regiment the most senior Captain is called the "Leftenant Major" and the Regiment´s Third in Command (He also usually commands the HQ Company). On the Brigade Level their exist 4-5 O-III as Junior Aide-de-Camps, on the Divisional Level it are ~8, and on the Expeditionary Corps there are between 25 and up to 30 O-IIIs serving.

Leftenant(O-II) – The Only Rank that is universal for all branches. In the Army a Leftenant commands a platoon, in the Navy it is one of the Minor Departments of the Ship (Which vary), and in the Air Force they fly individual planes. It is not possible for them to get into higher level staff positions. Lower Staff Positions for them are: 1st Leftenant, the most senior Leftenant of a Company and its XO, Regimental Quartermaster, A Leftenant assigned as assistant to the Regimental Commander, in charge of various things, usually the most senior Leftenant in the Regiment and only a few weeks from his promotion to Captain. In the Navy more senior Leftenants might lead night shifts (At the discretion of the Captain). In the Airforce, they are usually instructed to act not on their own but more as their section commanders wing men.

Ensign or Cornet/Midshipman/Cornet (O-I) – A sort of "Probationary Officer", these are usually assigned into a variety of NCO-functions on the Regimental Commanders/Captains whim. They might start with Section Commands and usually end with Platoon or Minor Department Command. In the Air Force they are Flight Trainees.

Cadets (C) – Soldiers currently training at Royal War College.
Enlisted
Colour Sergeant/Master/Chief Warrant Officer (E-VII) – The most senior NCO Rank. They are the NCO-Advisors to a Regimental/Ship/Squadron Commander. In the Army, Colour Sergeants are often referred to as "Regimental Badass", as they usually have seen dozens of engagements. They also have the unique honour of carrying the Regiment´s Colour (Their Battle Flag) into Battle (Hence their name). Masters in the Navy don´t have a really specific function aboard the ship and usually stay as heads of their original department. They also have a unique honour, namely the exclusive right initiate a mutiny (A right that hadn´t been used for a few years now). The Air Directory´s Chief Warrant Officers (CWO) are often flight trained (Although this is voluntary), and then fly as their Squadron Commanders Wingman. A Non-flight trained CWO is commonly in charge of the Ground Team while the Squadron is in flight.

Sergeant Major/Naval Warrant Officer/Master Warrant Officer (E-VI) – Sergeant Majors in the Army are usually the Third in Commands of a Company/Squadron/Battery and the most trusted advisor of any Captain. In the Navy, the Warrant Officers are advisors to a Leftenant Commander, and an additional Warrant Officer is assigned as the Ship´s Purser, responsible for accounting all in-and-out takes of the ship (Especially important on Supply Ships). Another Warrant Officer fills the position of the Ship´s Surgeon (Detached from the Royal Medical Corps). Master Warrant Officers (MWOs) of the Air Directory lead individual Departments of the Ground Team. Rarely some are Flight Trained. All Chaplains of the Royal Army (Their are a Christian, a Muslim, a Hindi, a Bhuddist and Zorotastrian Religious Service) are ranked Sergeant Major. In the Royal Medical Corps, E-VIs are usually Head Doctors of tactical units.

Staff Sergeant/Cockpit Officer/Air Warrant Officers (E-V) – Staff Sergeants in the Army are basically Sergeant Majors on the Platoon Level, the only difference is that they usually deal with far more inexperienced commanders. They also frequently command Platoons themselfs, as their is a constant lack of fresh Leftenants to fill these positions. The Cockpit Officers of the Navy are Minor Department XOs, in addition the Master´s Mates (The Masters eyes and ears around the ship), The Surgeon´s Mates (Junior Medical Officers), and the Yeoman (The Captain´s Assistant) also being considered Cockpit Officers. The Cockpit Officers traditionally all reside in the Ship´s Cockpit at the Rudder, although this may vary. Air Warrant Officers are Technical Specialists within the Ground Team.

Sergeant/Petty Officer/Chief Airman (E-IV) – A Sergeant in the Army is usually in charge of an Infantry Section or an Individual Vehicle. Petty Officers in the Navy are highly specialized crew members that can operate very specific subsystems, but with no Leadership Responsibilities. The Same Applies for the Chief Airman of the Airforce.

Corporal/Able Seaman/Senior Airman (E-III) – A Landforce Corporal leads an Infantry Team (Subdivision of a Section) or acts as a Vehicles Second-in-Command. With the Mechanized Infantry, the Corporal is usually in charge of the Vehicle while the Sergeant is in charge of the Ground Team. Able Seaman and Senior Airman are usually just more senior Enlisted, who sometimes hold temporary leadership functions.

Lance Corporal/Ordinary Seaman/Leading Airman (E-II) – An E-II usually hasn´t very different duties from an E-I, but is entitled to a higher pay and better lodging. The Promotion is purely seniority based and Lance Corporals only rarely fill leadership functions (Mostly as replacements for full Corporals)

Private/Landsman/Airman – The Common soldier of the Royal Army. In the Land Forces, the rank "Private" is rarely used (Although it is the official version), but the "Regimental Appelation" is more common (e.g. "Dragoon" in Dragoon Regiments, "Fusilier" in Fusilier Regiments, "Gunner" in Artillery Regiments")

Recruit (R) – Soldiers in Training.

Military History
Brief history: (maybe 2-5 short paragraphs) The Royal Rhodeve Armed Forces have been in service with various names since before the founding of Rhodevus in 1715. In 1699, the Army of Rhodevus fought for its independence against it's colonial masters. Since independence, the Army of Rhodevus was renamed into the Rhodeve Imperial Forces and became the scourge of the international world. Between 1715 and 1845, the military of Rhodevus expanded the country's borders to encompass large swaths of the world through colonialism, military expansion and basic war. The army at this time had control over both the land army and navy, which was under the authority of the President and five generals.
After the collapse of the empire in 1845, due to a combined effort of 3 other empires and revolutions of its colonies, Rhodevus became a satellite of a nearby empire and was only allowed a military force of some 10,000 individuals for all parts of its army. this began the transition of the military into a force that can fight with smaller numbers against a much larger force. Rhodevus was able to put this new form of combat into use in 1890 with its help in the Cowenian war of independence. WW1 and WW2 saw a major increase in Rhodeve military strength, with the separation of the army, navy and air force into three separate entities. Rhodeve soldiers in WW2 were nicknamed Stormtroopers for their fierce fighting.
Since then, the Royal Rhodeve Armed Forces have mainly been fighting terrorists in and around Rhodevus and its region.

Modernization:
Modernization is a slow and gradual Process for the Army, Navy and Air Force of Carriebean as neither group can get adequate funding for a complete overall and must fix and update it unit by unit, this is inefficient. One estimate by outside sources put a bill's proposed method of melting down old T-62s and T-34 tanks and using the money to build more modern tanks, such as the CT-95 and CT-10 would take an estimated 10 years to destroy all the T-62 and T-34 tanks that carriebean has, and Production would not start, according to the bill on the newer models of tanks by 2020, a full four years from now. Carriebean simply does not have enough junkyards or scrap heaps to get rid of all these tanks. the number of the CT-10 and CT-95 are 1,100 and 1,400 respectively, but they make up just 1 tenth of all tanks in the Carriebean Army.

The Air Force is even worse, with half the planes relics from the cold war and not been able to get a bill passed for more funding since 1958, the air force looks doomed to rot away with it's almost 46,000 planes stuck on runways.
The Navy, however is a different story, the Navy is getting the funds to build two more aircraft carriers, along with five more that are planned out, along with the hundreds of other ships that are supporting it, the Navy is expected to build three battleships just for the hell of it and to waste their money on something.

Military History
Brief history: The militaries history is very brief. Formed from various paramilitary groups during the war of independence. Afterwards the military has gone through steady modernization. However since 2009 the military has made more of an effort to be able to project power to a larger area. (for my current WWII RP):
Currently based in Italy, the Melorian Armed Forces(MAF) have had great success in their first bout as a modern fighting group. The conflict was fought over six campaigns:
The Battle of France involved 400,000 men and 3,000 tanks. Blitzkrieg, or Krashka(Melor language), was highly effective. The entire campaign lasted three days.
The Battle of Portugal involved 200,000 men and 1,500 tanks. Krashka proved less effective, but communist insurgents ultimately turned the tide in the MAF's favor.
The Battle of Belgium and Germany involved 600,000 men and 4,000 tanks. West Germany capitulated immediately, while Belgium and the Netherlands held out for several days before surrendering.
The Battle of the Mediterranean involved around 100,000 men and the Melorian 1st Fleet. It consisted of "cleaning up" the Mediterranean. Malta, Cyprus, Crete, and other islands were taken.
The Battle of Africa involved around 400,000 men and consisted of colonial defense and then a conquest of portions of west and central Africa.
The Battle of the Balkans involved 800,000 men. This battle was the greatest and the last of the Great War. After a revolution, the Melorian Government betrayed their former ally Elbaron. The campaign began from Albania, and ended with the conquest of most of the Balkan region, parts of Turkey, and after an Elbaronian surrender, parts of the Arabian peninsula. The Melorian Republic is currently experiencing a Pax Meloria.

MILITARY FORCES TRAINING AND INFORMATION SURVEY
Basic Information
Full Name of Nation: Fatatatutti
Head of State: President Fish
Name of Military: The Army is also known as the Militia.
Military Branches: The main branches are the Army and the Air Corps. The Commandos are not integrated into the main Army structure, rather they are "parallel" to it, but they are not considered a separate branch.
Chief of Military: The de facto head of the Council of Generals is General Kono.
Number of Active Personnel: Approximately 3 million.
Number of Reserved Personnel: The Ready Reserve is estimated at 15 milion, depending on how "ready" is defind.

Military Enlistment
Is military service compulsory or voluntary? We have no conscription. Service is strictly voluntary.
Age of enlistment: There is no age discrimination in Fatatatutti. However if anybody under 18 volunteers, their first assignment is to finish school.
Is there a pre-military training in your country? (like ROTC,JROTC...) No.
Military age: See above.
Officer Cadet School: None.
Do you observe the four-class cadet system? N/a
How many years of training to become an officer? Officers come up through the ranks and are promoted strictly on the basis of ability.
Do you accept female trainees? Of course.

Military History
Brief history: (maybe 2-5 short paragraphs) Fatatatutti has a warrior tradition going back thousands of years. After contact was made with the outside world in the 1800s, it was realized that there was a need for a modern defense force. The first regiments were formed for local defense but by the end of the nineteenth century they were organized into a national militia. We have always kept up with weapons technology by borrowing from our potential enemies rather than by introverted research. In the twentieth century we adopted tanks, though most Fatatatutian terrain is ill-suited to armoured warfare, and aircraft, which have become a necessity especially for transport. At the present time our military efforts are concentrated on peacekeeping abroad because we are a large enough nation that there are few threats to our island.
First military battle: We have had a number of "unnvited incursions" over the years but we don't keep track of them individually.
Belligerents: Usually our "invaders" are well-intentioned but ill-informed crusaders who want to "free us from communism" or some such nonsense. Numbers vary from half a dozen to a few hundred.
Casualties: None.
Latest military battle: See above.
Belligerents: See above.
Casualties: See above.

Military Leadership
Commander in Chief: (traditionally, the head of state is the commander in chief) Our military is not affiliated with the government in any way. It is governed by the Council of Generals, whose current unofficial head is General Kono.
Chief of Military: (full name, title and rank) General Kono
Chiefs of Military Branches: The real command structure ends at the regimental level. General officers rely on the co-operation of regimental commanders for larger unit operations such as brigades and divisions. The Council of Generals meets in an advisory capacity but deals mostly with recruitment, procurement and logistics. Operations of each branch are handled by the senior General who is chosen more-or-less democratically by the regimental commanders of that branch.

Army: (full name, title and rank) See above.
Navy: (full name, title and rank) See above.
Air Force:(full name, title and rank) See above.

Senior military leadership: (full name, title and rank, list them as many as you can) General Castro-Stalina, General Dextraze, General Hunter, General Kono, General Lebenswasser, Colonel Praetorius, General Tatacumbe, etc.

Advanced Military Information
Unified Commands: (list them as many as you can) Air Mobile Command encompasses the Parachute Army and the Air Cavalry Brigade (both of which are actually closer to division strength), as well as several ground-attack squadrons of the Air Corps, much of Air Transport Command, the Army's Air Search and Rescue component and the Foreign Legion (which operates only overseas and relies in air deployment).
Military-wide support and affiliate units: (list them as many as you can) Transport, procurement and logistics are handled at the hational level by the Council. Otherwise, regiments are more-or-less autonomous.

Handling Threats: The Army would hope to get advance warning from the Navy about any serious threats. For smaller threats, such as the incursions mentioned above that get past the Navy, the Light Infantry is constantly patrolling the interior. If a threat is detected, the Air Cavalry is the first responder whose role is to gather intelligence on the enemy's strength and position and to harass the enemy until ground forces can be concentrated.
National Policies: As mentioned above, the Army is not affiliated with the government in any way, so the government has no policies regarding the military. The policy of the Council of Generals is to protect the people of Fatatatutti in any way they can.
Modernization: We consider our Army to be modern, though we do not espouse every high-tech fad that comes along.
Military ranks: (list them by your language followed by English) Our society is very egalitarian, so "ranks" are more of a job description than a designator of "levels":
Recruit (untrained volunteer)
Private (qualified infantryman, etc.)
Lance Corporal (assistant to a Corporal)
Corporal (assistant squad leader)
Sergeant (squad leader)
Lieutenant (platoon leader)
Captain (company commander)
Major (battalion commander)
Colonel (regimental commander)
General (brigade commander, division commander, etc.)
Rank insignia: (how the ranks are worn) None.
Other information: We distinguish between the "Military" and the "Navy" so we have not given any information on the Navy.

Any semblance of the old nation(s) no longer exists. This new nation is approximately 260 years after the last update to the former incarnation of this account. It was physically painful to delete all those factbooks....

Authoritarian socialist, British, and damned proud of it. The SNP are traitors, don't be fooled.
