Most Liberal and Conservative Areas in Your Nation?

Postby Arachaea » Tue Jun 07, 2016 10:15 am

In Arachaea, the most Liberal Areas are Probably the Oakstead Municipalty in West Coast Province and the Arachaea City District.

The most Conservative Area is the Nautabu Municipality in the Mountains Province, which is the only place where the CPA, a right-wing nationalist and reactionary party, have gained success.

Conservatives are a huge minority, with 95% of the country being Liberal.

The division with the most conservatives is Westerlay, although the Government representative for Westerlay is still part of the Liberalism Huswyae Party.

The reason for the liberal majority is because We have had a liberal government for 150 years and the economy has thrived, everybody has been happy and Huswyae has had a positive atmosphere

There is no real conservatism in the modern sense here, although the old south remains the most "conservative".

The West Coast is by far the most liberal.

While most of the country is liberal, there are still some Conservative strongholds.

Istanbul and Damascus are the most prominent Liberal strongholds; Baghdad and Kuwait City are their Conservative counterparts.

Rhodevus is generally a liberal and open minded country, but the towns of Ricka and Bivyamon in Wyle and Tundos respectively are known for the most amount of conservativism. There have been attacks on homosexual people in the past, with the latest incident happening a year ago when the father of a teenaged girl struck her and her girlfriend with his car, killing himself, his daughter's girlfriend and placing his daughter in intensive care.

But in response to what I said earlier, apart from that one municipality, the rest of the country is very liberal, it's just that one municipality.

Most of the country is socially progressive, with the regions of Leinster, Munster, and especially Connacht having long histories of social progressivism. While most of the population is Socially progressive, politically, due to the nature of the regime, an increasing amount of people views autocracy and the single-party rule of the ruling party, the National Imperial Union, in positive manner. Especially because the NIU is socially progressive, fitting their ideology.

The region of Ulster, however, is more reactionary and traditionalistic in regards to social issues, unlike the other three regions of Ireland, Ulster is more traditionalistic and as such has been slow to cope with the progressive attitudes of the NIU. During Empress Madeline's coronation in 2012, her being Transgender led to widespread protest and riots in the cities of Belfast and Derry within Ulster, forcing the country to send in the armed forces to the region for a week to suppress the riots.

It is for these reasons that politics in the country are so divided between Ulster and the rest of the regions in Ireland, as while politically the entire country is more or less moving to accept the rule of the NIU and the current regime, Ulster stands firmly Reactionary in regards to many social issues.

Most of CSAT is fiercely conservative, except in several former liberal countries that had the misfortune to have the Treaty as a neighbor. In these occupied/annexed regions, the liberal anti-CSAT Liberation Front militant movement is becoming quite popular.

There's probably about an equal amount conservatives and liberals, and even though all political parties have equal representation, both are a minority in comparison to the libertarian party as the two-party system is widely rejected in the society.

The most liberal area in Ndaku would have to be the capital city, Lumumbaville. Throughout the years Lumumbaville stood as the center of all diplomacy within Ndakene law, foreign policy, and domestic policy. Lumumbaville is also the place to manage Ndaku's positions in the World Assembly. The city has experienced and witnessed demonstrations, strikes, passages of historical resolutions, and activists, thus making Lumumbaville a more liberal area in the country. The city of Babul would be considered the most conservative as it is sought as a holy and sacrosanct city; mostly comprised of Christians and Muslims.

The PUN is pretty obsessively progressive from border to border, save for a few areas of big business economic conservatism. On social areas, we're all pretty leftist, though there are some libertarians or right-leaning types in the engineering industry. The country was literally founded with science industry money, so there is definitely a strong current of capitalist thought, but also a strong notion of economic equality.

There's not much right wing extremist/religious right wing zealotry in the PUN, if any. Racial supremacy and religious moralizing has so far not made any head way in the country.

There is no such thing as most liberal or most conservative areas here in Zhouran. Rather, everywhere, including the cities, are moderately-conservative and quite traditionalist, as well as pragmatic. Unlike in the West, where everyone is so divided and broken.

The vast majority of Ilmenia is conservative or right-libertarian, as the largest "Left-Wing" parties are rather radical (NatCom/NatSoc and Anarcho-Com), and do not receive support from the majority of the population.

Radiatian politics is between "Social Democrats" and "Liberal-Conservatives" rather than liberals versus conservatives. The left versus right divide is almost always economic and it's common for Social Democrats to be socially conservative and Liberal-Conservatives (such as the current President) to be socially liberal, or vice versa.

States likely to support the Liberal-Conservative Party are "blue states", states likely to support the Social Democratic Union are "red states", states likely to support either are "swing states" and of course it's possible to have red pockets within a blue state or vice versa.

The "reddest" states currently are North Corpshire and the Federal Capital Territory (which isn't actually a state) as these are currently the only two areas never to have voted for a Liberal-Conservative Presidential candidate. The east coast, southern states and two furthest west states are also generally considered Red States, and the SDU tends to do better in urban areas and among educated and minority voters.

The central and northern states are considered the most solidly "blue" areas in the country, and the Liberal-Conservative Party tends to do best among rural or wealthy voters. The LCP's dominance of many of the sparsely populated northern states is such that sometimes the SDU don't even bother standing candidates, as their chances of winning are so slim in those states. Bucking the trend a little bit, Radiatia's second largest city Das Engel is considered solidly blue, partially due to the wealth in the area but also due to the city's reputation for hedonism which doesn't sit well with the SDU's more compassionate values.

The more socially progressive or "liberal" areas tend to be the big population centres and cities, like Vienna, Berlin, Ruhr-Rhein, Hamburg. More agrarian and rural regions like the countryside of Hungary, Bavaria, and Saxony, tend to be more traditionalistic or "conservative".

It's hard to say there are any "most" liberal and conservative areas in Ventalia. In general, rural areas are more conservative and urban areas are more liberal. There were points in time where this was flipped, at least politically, where typically left-learning parties have done well in the country and right-leaning parties have found success in the cities. In any area, you'll find people with different beliefs and voting/political inclinations.

The nation (thanks of multiple factors: historical, culutrally) is most liberal because in Alinghi is an huge immigration land from the born in XVIII Alinghi was an unhabitated area, the first colonist, from Germany, and England the first liberated Salves from America, the italian imigration in the XIX ceuntry, and again German and ITalian immigration for polical reasons, and the first Russian and Slave immigrants for political reason, and nd the actual immigration from Africa and Asian area make the modern multiculural culture of Alinghi, and this make Alinghi a very liberal nation and pro-integration, themore liberal's are in the big sities' cantos, also in less poulated cantons are more "conservative" (the conservative in alinghi are more economically than socially Then in other countries are considerated a center right party, in Alinghi are considerate a Right party)

No real distinction is made between the two, at least not in the political sense of the word.

I mean, there's still a qualifier of a "conservative" versus "liberal" area, but it's more with regards to its traditional meaning, which is to say a resistance to change vs a welcoming of it. And the default is seen as a general, functional anarcho capitalist system granting everyone as much autonomy as possible and seeing everyone as as individualistically as possible.

Liberalism, in our world, is defined by a rejection of this notion and the belief in the effect of other people onto them, along with a government being present namely to redress those issues, along with an assortment of other governments formed mostly by the outliers of the society at large, who choose to remain committed to the status quo.

Geographically, it has been generally climates that are more isolated that invite a form of 'government', seen by those living outside of it as a form of hope given to them as due to the widespread societal truth of the lack of existence of a God.
Now mostly a politik discuss account.
