Arachaea is a federal republic and parliamentary democracy situated on four islands in the North Sea, and it is considered part of Scandinavia. The nation is a very liberal nation, with very progressive LGBTI rights, gender equality, racial equality, income equality and religious equality records. The President is Harald Stelberg and the Prime Minister is Anika Øie, both members of the Social Democratic and Green Party, which is in a coalition in the Golden House with the Kristiensoisalpartiet and the People's Democratic Centre Party. You may only bring in up to five security personnel, with a baseball bat or golf club as a weapon, due to a complete ban on all firearms in Arachaea, due to popular support and 2013 legislation by the Social Liberal and Democratic Party.

We have conditions for embassy requirements, if you do not meet these then we will deny your request:
- Citizens must not be persecuted due to gender, sex, race, religion, orientation, class or disability.
- The government must hold fair, democratic elections with universal suffrage.

Article 261 of the People's Code dictates that "No civilian shall hold any gun unless authorized. Police forces and guards are allowed to carry guns in the open. Any harm or death with a gun is punishale. Any citizen who kills another citizen with an illegally possessed gun, will be severely punished."

So I don't see where these "strict gun laws" are.

I was referring to my own nation's gun laws, with guns being a very restricted item. We allow guns for entertainment and embassy purposes, but with supervision of an official.

Dear the Free Land of Mugledome,

While we appreciate your request for an embassy, we are not sure that we can authorise your request, as it is part of our policy to co-operate only with democratic nations, and you appear to be an absolute monarchy, so therefore we don't think that opening an embassy would comply with our foreign policy.
