How many states does your nation have?

My nation calls them divisions. They have the same qualities as states but they are called Divisions. There are 40 divisions in Huswyae. Here they are listed below with their capital in green and brackets:

Note that the 10 largest cities are not part of any division, but a metropolitan area that governs themselves. Lacrott City, the capital and in the Capital Metro area, is not to be confused with Lacrott the division!

The largest division in both area and population is Erdocot. The smallest division in area is Lacrott and the smallest in population is Desmerecot.

We have 30 which we call city-states

Gandoor's administrative divisions are called 'yons', which comes from a native word meaning 'region'. Our nation is divided into eight yons:

Juon
Osaka
Southside
Yanot
Yontan

In addition to these eight yons, there is also the Gandoor City Capital District, located within Icpo Yon, although not part of it. The Capital District (which contains our capital city and some smaller towns) is considered legally identical to a yon in all but name and the fact that there is no representation for it in our legislature.

The Liburian commonwealth is divided into thirty cantons and three republics. Their names can be found in our factbook.

The Federal Republic of Arachaea is divided into 9 provinces/fylkegi:
- West Coast
- Porthurst
- Westmere
- Saltlands
- Plains
- Meadows
- Mountains
- Mykeria Island
- Byrfria and Ardent

The nation's capital, Arachaea City, is an independent District, and there are 72 municipalities/kommunais making up the nine provinces/fylkegi.

There is also one territory, Gorløya.

The queendom of Dahon is divided into 3 regions (Kaname, Yakumo, and Suzumi) and one territory (Asunaro).

The Radiatian Federation comprises of 37 states, plus a number of territories.

The Gamindustrian Nation is consisted of two dimensions: Ultradimension and Hyperdimension. Each dimension has four nations, a version of the other dimension's nations. The four nation names, each dimension having a version, hence, having eight nations:

These nations are further divided into their own administrative regions, and, in some nations, the administrative regions are further divided into counties.

The UAW currently has 8 states (California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico).

Other states that are likely to succeed from The "United" States and Unify with the West are: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

States with populations that are split on joining are Wisconsin, Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas

My nation uses regions as its primary administrative division, the names mirror most of the ones from RL Finland. There are 15 regions, one federal enclave and two overseas territories under Keskinen's control.

The Greater Federal Union of North America compromises of three federal entities which are further subdivided into ninety-one states.
