The Patheticness is Hilarious -- A Commentary

"Trial By Jury". This is a concept that the Civilized world understands when it comes to those who breaks laws within a National Jurisdiction. It seems that this concept is something that is foreign to those within Hidajistan. Even Nations such as Automagfreek, The Dominion and Ganosia hold trials for crimes within their nations, the fact that the Hidaji doesn't do this simple thing shows that they are just as backwards, if not more-so, than those that they claim are 'inferior'.
Not too long ago the Empire had a run in with Religious Individuals who broke laws within the empire, mainly in relation to Tax Law and Molestation of under age Citizens. There were several trials held and those who were found guilty were either sent to Prison Facilities within the Empire but also dispatched to the Refugee Sanctuary, operated by a close ally of the Empire.
It is the opinion of this newspaper and this reporter that those in charge of Hidajistan are backwards, inbred and not worthy of leading their nation and should give up their rightful positions and give the operational leadership of their country to those who deserve to lead.

Declaration of Unrestricted Naval Warfare

In this years State of the Empire Address, the leadership of the Empire addressed many issues in and around the world, including the difficulties with maintaining peace around the globe with the current political climate and rise in alliances that exist only to be against specific other alliances and/or specific ideologies. Other subjects within the State of the Empire were the reformations of the Imperial Navy that occurred over the last calendar year in which Thirteen Naval BattleGroups were rearranged into 33 various BattleGroups. They are set apart as Surface and Submerged BattleGroups, with each section having three sub-sections to them.

The last item that was up for discussion with this years State of the Empire Address was the current happenings within the Southern Hemisphere, the latest round of what the news in the Empire has declared the Whale Terrorism Attacks. The Prime Minister touched slightly on these, declaring that this matter is not something that the International Community should take lightly. It wasn't until the Supreme Emperor took the podium for this section that he took several vicious jabs at those responsible.

"These savages who have been relentlessly attacking the livelihoods of descent hardworking men and women on the high seas as they do their best to provide for their families in the only way that they know is an attack on the International Community as a whole," he said. "This is nothing but a new form of International Piracy and nothing short of Terrorism in it's purest form. This organization calling itself the 'Sea Shepherds Conservation Society' must be put down to ensure stability for those who seek to make a living while working in International Waters. I am here in Parliament not only to make this statement, but also to urge Parliament to make a show of force known to those who put innocent lives at risk day in and day out."

Shortly after the remarks, it was known throughout the Parliament that a new bill would be introduced the next day into the legislature for approval, voting and possible passing. A summary of the bill was give to those of us of the News within the Empire. Below is the summary that will be up for debate starting this coming legislative session, which starts in less than 48 hours.

SUMMARY: UNNUMBERED PARLIAMENTARY BILL
After the relentless attacks upon sovereign national whaling vessels by the Eco-Terrorists parading around as "saviors" in the South Atlantic, South Pacific and Indian Oceans; The Shazbotdom Empire officially notifies the world of the following:

The entity known as the Sea Shepherds Conservation Society is declared as an Ecological Terrorist organization.
The Shazbotdom Imperial Parliament hereby authorize the use of force against Terroristic Organizations throughout the South Seas.
This includes the use of the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy to issue orders for Unrestricted Naval Warfare.

TRANSCRIPT OF LIVE NEWS STORY

SCENE: Newsroom, Shazbotdom News Network
"...as soon as we get new information as to the health of star player Anderstad Hecklesberg," the reporter said as he was continuing the broadcast. He then put his hand to his ear and a smile drew onto his face. "News just in, we are going live to John Hernandez at Shaz City International Airport. John?"

SCENE: Shaz City International Airport
John stood there in the main Concourse of the airport, behind him a wall of police. "Thanks Anthony," he replied. "News was leaked to the public about an unmarked flight coming onto Shaz City International Airport from at 3:52pm local time. With that, security was ramped up here at SCIA to ensure that the individual incoming would not get injured. It was found out by an SNN Employee that this individuals name is Aloysius Forst, a Donner Lands citizen who is now wanted by their government for leaking information about the return of a brutal Dictatorship government that pretends to be a Monarchy. We have word that a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will address the public from SCIA within the next few minutes, and Mr. Forst's aircraft will be landing here shortly. It is 3:46pm currently."

Behind him, some staffers from the airport walk up and begin to assemble a podium, hooking up a microphone that was attached to a sound mixer, allowing all the news agencies in attendance to hook into it so that they could get a direct audio feed for their broadcasts. As they finish up the assembly of the podium, they exit away.

3:50pm
The news crews had been waiting for a few minutes, then through the crowd a group of Six Marines approached the podium, as they go tot the podium they broke and then it was known that they were surrounding the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Kennith G. Terrance. They broke and formed two lines, Three to the left of the podium and Three to the right. Minister Terrance then approached the podium as Marine Air Corps Jets were heard overhead as the unmarked plane landed on Runway 43-R.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of the press corps," Kennith started. "Today we, the people and government of the Shazbotdom Empire, have assisted in extracting a true patriot from the clutches of an Oppressive Government. Many of you have heard his name, but not his story. Several week sago he came into possession of a 'classified' email from his government that stated that they were going to transition from the current Governmental system, into what they called a 'kingdom'."

"After reading this email, he realized that this government that they were going to transition into would be a throwback of an oppressive, tyrannical government that ruled their nation more than a century ago. A government that killed or tortured anyone who opposed them." He shifted his weight and looked towards a window, then looked back at the crowd gathered in front of him. It was now 3:52pm and the plane has approached Gate 16 at Terminal 5E.

"Agents of the Shazbotdom Empire learned about this through various Media Outlets in the region and began the task of helping to extract Mr. Forst from his home nation so that we could protect him from his government. On his own accord, he was able to flee their nation to a more hospitable nation. It was there that our operatives met up with him. The discussion mainly entailed how the nation that he escaped to could not, realistically, offer any protection as his home nation could easily get operatives within their boarders and kidnap him to bring him back to The Donner Lands. With the Political problems that the Empire had in the past, with his home nation, we have multiple travel bans in place that would prevent operatives from his nation to gain entry into the Empire."

He looked behind him to hear the footsteps of more Marines approaching from the lower level underground tram that connected the Gate Terminals to the Main Terminal Complex. "I personally had several talks with him about what he needed and anything necessary to secure his stay in the Empire so that we could ensure his safety from his Government. After more than 5 hours of negotiations, his request was brought to the Prime Minister. She granted his request for Amnesty within an hour." At this point, another group of Marines, this time totaling Twelve, was seen marching up the stairs in two rows, between the rows was Mr. Forst.

Kennith turned around and signaled for Mr. Forst to approach him. As he reached the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kennith turned back to the microphone. "Mr. Aloysius Forst, it is with my honor, given by the Supreme Emperor of Shazbotdom, to welcome you to the Empire." He then looked back at the man and shook his hand. Turning, once again, back to the podium, he nods at the Marines, "Thank you for coming," he stated to the press corps. He then turned and, putting his hand on Mr. Forsts shoulder, began walking out a back door of the building to an awaiting limousine.

War is Brewin'

After an attempt by the Shazbotdom Armed Forces in attempting to help stabilize a nation that has been granted it's independence by their Colonizer, a fleet from the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy, as well as several aircraft of the Shazbotdom Marine Air Corps, have reportedly come under attack. While information is sketchy at this point in time, the Imperial Palace has designated that the nation who they believe has attacked Imperial Assets in the region is The Empire of Communist and Socialist Unions. The Ministry of the Military has called this an unprovoked attack and is working closely with the Imperial Parliament in drafting up an Official Declaration of War.
Rumor within the Foreign Relations community states that the Shazbotdom Strategic Command has also been activated in the event of an attempted attack against the mainland of the Shazbotdom Empire. Nuclear weapons have come online across the Empire as well as within the Strategic Assault Submersible fleets of the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy. The Anti-Ballistic Missile Defense Shield has also been activated in the event of an NBC attack upon the Imperial Mainland as well as the Colonial Holdings of the Shazbotdom Empire. If the activation of StratCom is deemed true, then this would the first time that the Strategic Command has been activated in this massive scale since the nuclear bombings over half a century ago. There has been no official word from the Imperial Palace of this activation.
The Supreme Emperor is slated to address the Empire on this matter within the next hour. The Press Corps have been mobilized by the various news outlets within the Empire and they are converging upon the Shazbotdom Imperial Palace as of this online publication. We will bring you more news as this unfolds.

D*ck Measuring Insures

After a few days of no activity, it seems the Feng Empire is attempting to show that they are a super power on the International Stage by staging Multiple Military Parades throughout their realm. The Empire found, long ago, that such things are useless in todays day and age and instead, held a Parade to honor peace, prosperity, and partying in the manner of what can only be described as a Mardi Grad Day Parade. The Mystical Krewe of Drandio Paraded through Shaz City to a crowd of more than 1.3 Million people on a route that stretched for Twenty Five miles, starting near the first sets of Embassies within the Empire, going through the Governmental District (including the Imperial Palace and Imperial Parliament), through the Downtown District and into one of the largest Residential Districts of the City, where it finished up at the Convention Center within the Warehouse District.
The parade consisted of more than Three Hundred Fifty Floats and more than One Hundred Fifty Thousand Riders, Walkers and other groups. This included more than Fifty Marching Bands and the internationally recognized Eleven Ten Stompers. A replay of the parade is available for $5 to any one interested via Scroogle Video or $9 plus Shipping and Handling to anyone who wishes the old fashioned DVD or Blu-Ray models.

"Welcome to Shaz City Tonight. I am your host Jessica Daniels and tonight we are broadcasting live from Glendenhall Tower within the Imperial Colony of Shazbotdom Miroxia." She shifts in her seat. "For those of you who don't know, this is the headquarters of the Axis Commonwealth. We are broadcasting here to catch up with the Prime Minister of the Empire in regards to matters of the Empire." Jessica then shifts again in her seat and swivels it around. "Joining me now is the Prime Minister, Stephanie Alridge. Thank you for joining us Prime Minister Alridge."

"Thank you for having me," the Prime Minister Replies.

"I would like to give some background on the Office of the Prime Minister first," Jessica starts. "The Position was created five years ago in regards to the Office of the Supreme Emperor. The OSE was having issues with support staff and being able to keep up with the day to day operations. The Prime Ministers position was created by a Bill that went through the Imperial Parliament, designated the Executive Act. In the regards, the Prime Minister is sort of a Middle Man position between the rest of the Government and the Supreme Emperor. The position has Veto power to Parliamentary Bills and can Sign Them on behalf of the Supreme Emperor. The Prime Ministers signatures can be Veto's by the Supreme Emperor, but it has not happened since the creation of the position. The only thing that the Prime Minister cannot sign off on are Declarations of War, as the Signature required for them can only come from the Supreme Emperor. Am I getting this right, Miss Prime Minister?"

"As the law currently states, yes," Prime Minister Alridge stated. "Although there is a push from the Parliament so that the Prime Minister can sign off on Declarations of War, with a secondary Signature Required from the Supreme Emperor. And the Supreme Emperor can issue Executive Orders allowing Military Actions without an Official Declaration of War, if the situation presents itself as necessary."

"So you can say," Jessica Continues, "that the Prime Ministers Position, as it currently stands, is a very important part of the Government within the Empire?"

"Absolutely," the Prime Minister Replied. "As it currently stands within our Government, the Prime Minister is to the Empire as the Heart is to the human body. Without it, the Government cannot function as it is currently laid out. Currently, though, the way our Government is Laid Out has been forged by years of passing law after law from within the Imperial Parliament. There is currently an attempt at having a Constitutional Convention within the capital. People are talking about going back to the Original Constitution as it was when the Shazonite People settled within what would later become known as North America back in the early 11th Century CE."

"And why do these people that the Constitution as it stands from the 11th Century would be good for the Empire as it currently stands?" Jessica queried. "Wouldn't they feel that a new Constitution to meet the needs of the Empire as it is in the 21st Century would be best moving forwards?"

"Well," The Prime Minister started, "They feel that the limited Government as depicted within that Constitution is exactly what the people of the Empire need. Although, as the Government currently stands due to Parliamentary Laws, the Government is only Moderately Sized. And these people that want to push for the old Constitution are are very small minority. But, we, as a Government, listen to all our Constituents. It is one of the reasons why we run monthly Survey's on a specially designed web site that gives us in depth statistics on the needs and wants of the people within the Empire."

"You're talking about improvethegov.shz, right?" Jessica asked.

"Exactly," Stephanie replied. "It was set up by an Independent Information Technology Professionals with special algorithms in which our staff can pull certain information, or all the information, import into specialized Database Software and get any and all types of information from these surveys."

"Let's shift gears here," Jessica stated. "Now, we are in the epicenter of Government for the Axis Commonwealth, of which the Empire is one of the Triad of Nations that is in charge of the organization, on what is called the Council of Founders. What brings the Prime Ministers and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Headquarters for the Axis Commonwealth?"

"Well," Stephanie starts, "It all boils down to normalization of relations." A small graphic appears along the bottom of the screen. "About 5 Months ago, the Ambassador to the Axis Commonwealth approached my office about the possibility to normalize relations and cease the 'cold war' style hostilities that have been ongoing between the Axis Commonwealth and the Santiago Anti-Communist Treaty Organization. From there, messages were sent between the Ambassadors office and the Headquarters of SACTO. These talks are the direct result of those communications."

"And what has come out of the discussions as of this point in time?" Jessica pressed. "The public are curious."

"Well, as of right now we are still working out the logistics, I cannot comment on the direct results as of right now since they are still in the process of being hashed out between the two Delegations." She then continued, "But things are looking up."

"What about the rumors of Military Action against Aanglandia?" Jessica asked.

"We are keeping our options open, but as of right now all that is happening is there has been a deployment of forces to the region," Stephanie stated. "It is unclear as of right now if there will be an attack upon Aanglandia or if the forces deployed to the region will just be 'on station' within range of Aanglandia just in case it is deemed nessicary to begin Military Operations by the Imperial Parliament.

"So it is just an operation right now to keep an eye on a regime that is considered hostile to the interest of the Empire?" She inquired, "or is there something more to this than currently meets the eye?"

"Right now, it is to watch a regime that the world deems hazardous. They have bragged all over social media that they will begin interring people who do not hold onto their 'progressive' ideology. Which in turn just makes them look more like some sort of Psychotic Dictatorship according to the rankings of the World Assembly. It is rather hilarious to the point that they claim to be completely free, yet they limit freedoms based on Religion and Political Affiliations. And those political parties that they do allow, all of them fall in line with their 'progressive' way of thought and there is no opposition party. This is something that just gives nations with true Freedoms a bad name."

"One last question and we can let you get back to the duties of the Prime Minister in relation to the talks that are currently going on." Jessica stated, then flipped through to one last question card. "It is rumored that the Supreme Emperor has been deciding on Retiring from his position. IF he does retire early, what would that mean for the position of Supreme Emperor as it relates to the Government?"

"Well," Stephanie starts, "as it currently stands, the next in line to be the Supreme Emperor would be his eldest son, Thomas. Although if it happens that Major WIlliams is deployed into a war zone, then the position of Supreme Emperor would be temporarilly filled by the Second Child of the family, Stephen, until such as time as Major Williams returns from his duties in the Service. It is at that time in which he will be Honorably Discharged from the Corps so that he can serve the Empire as our next Supreme Emperor."

"Thank you, Prime Minister, for joining us tonight. And we would like to give a thank you out to the staff here at Glendenhall Tower for allowing us to host our Show tonight," She turned to face the Prime Minister. "We hope you and your Delegation all the best in these talks."

"Thank you, Ms. Daniels," Stephanie stated. "It's always my pleasure to let the public know of the latest happenings going on with the Government of the Shazbotdom Empire. Veritas Omnia Vincit."

"Veritas Omnia Vincit to you, too," she replied to the Prime Minister. "Up next, everyone's favorite television show, 'Who wants to be a Citizen', where Twenty Contestants who have applied for determinant residence within the Empire go through several knowledge tests of Imperial History to get their Green Cards. News has come out of the Imperial Palace in accordance to information that was released by state media within Apikai in regards to a News Conference held within their legislative body by the temporary government. The initial reports show a month and a half time they will complete the dressing process for a new constitution. It also doesn't not give a timetable for elections to be held, which is still a major concern for the Imperial Authority.
Rumors are that the Prime Minister is preparing to dispatch a message requesting the ability to dispatch diplomats to observe the process of the creation of the Constitution and the later elections. Although, it is unclear how this would be received by the leadership of their nation.
The Military is also on high alert, mainly due to possible threats from the international community, who are displeased with the current state of affairs within Apikai. Rumors are that the 3rd Small Assault Naval Battleground has been diverted from it's current patrol and is en route to a location where support aircraft can make it to positions to assist in defending the main from foreign aggression. There are no public records on what is exactly what is on the fleet, so there is no way that this reporter can confirm or deny what assets are being dispatched into the region.

Irreconcilable Differences
It takes quite a lot of issues to make yourself into a pariah of the International Community, but it seems like Krieg has done just that. It seems that it is perfectly acceptable to their deranged leadership to kidnap children of other world leaders and hold them for ransom. If there is a quick way to become a pariah to the International Community, that is a real quick way to. And if you want to be hated, this is an exceptionally quick way to.
Several nations have expressed dismay at this situation, and the Empire has yet to state their official position on it, but rumors from an unnamed source in the Imperial Palace are that there may be an official Condemnation coming from the Minister of Foreign Affairs within the next 24 hours. Until then, it is the opinion of this paper that anyone in the world, who is the leader of a nation, should positively condemn the actions of the aforementioned leadership. This reporter condemns then to the highest degree.

{Opinion Piece} The Devil Went Down to GENA
This is an opinion piece sent in to the Shazbotdom News Corporation via a subsidary, written by high Highness, the Protector of the Empire, Supreme Emperor Larry Williams
There comes a time in which the International Community needs to stand against the evils of the 'New World Order'.
When an alliance rebrands itself in the manner that the "Global Entante of Nations and Alliances" has, once again, the world must still continue to stand against them in their efforts to bring a One World Government. And there is a group of nations that are taking that stand. We call ourselves the Reichsstadt Treaty Coalition.
Founded by a nation that has seen attempts at One World Governments come and go, it was quickly joined by multiple nations. These nations seek only one thing, and that is the protection of their nations from the overzealous, warmongering, and fascist organization of GENA, in whichever name that they decide to call themselves this week. We seek to protect ourselves and ever other nation. We will not falter.
Therefore, it is the new policy of the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy that any ships that fly the flag of any nations that were members of GENA at the time of their collapse, and members of any new alliance created with the same intentions, be stopped within the Shazbotdom Imperial Exclusive Economic Zone. These ships will be searched for contraband. If these ships ar efound within the Territorial Waters of the Empire, their crews will be arrested and the ships are to be scuttled. This is a ZERO tollerance policy that has been authorized by Parliament under my discretion.

The Rundown - Space Edition

ISA 2023 Booster Schedule Set
In a presser from the Imperial Space Administration, they have released the list of what Boosters will be utilized for the first 11 Launches of the year. In their press release, they mentioned that more decisions on which Boosters will be used for later missions would come later, most likely within mid to late January. They are still working on what the Launch Windows will be for each one of the launches and are prepared to set the Secondary Launch Windows as well.
As it stands right now, the first launch of the new year will be PATHOS Foundation Flight 21 (PFF-12), which will begin the next set of launches for the contract. As it stands right now, the Imperial Space Agency is just a hair under 25% done with the contract, as the total number of satellites to be launched is 81.

ISA Test Flight
The Empire launched yet another Test Flight today. This time, they did a mission to test the capabilities of the Stage 2 Block 5 Booster, which is to be the Refueling Variant of the Stage 2 Booster of the Heavy Launch System. This booster is designed to go into Earth's Orbit and be used to dock and refuel the Stage 2 Block 4 Human Transportation booster for it to be able to leave Earth's Orbit on its trips to the Moon, Mars, and beyond. The next phase of the testing scheme for the new Block 5 Booster will be to launch one into orbit on a full HLS Stack and then launch a Block 4 booster to initiate a Docking and Refueling maneuver. This will guarantee that the Refueling Booster is working properly and then they can be put into service fully.

Rovers In Development
Under a contract with a few different technology companies as well as two of the Major Uivesrities within the Empire, the Imperial Space Administration is anouncing the design and development of it's first Rover System. They are deigning the system to be cheaply built so that it can be mass produced to use for landing multiple Rovers on Mars and Venus. A workshop has been setup at the Gregory A. Reignquist Administration and Technology Center on the outskirts of the Capital of Shaz City.

The Rundown - Space Edition Part Dos

Satellites, Oh My!
Over the past 6 months, the Imperial Space Administration has bolstered the number of Satellies in orbit for the Shazbotdom News Corporations Internet Constillation. They have done this by utilizing the Heavy Lift Launch Vehicle to launch more satellites at a time. As of this time, there are at least 40 circling the planet at Low Earth Altitude, with two rings of 12 at a higher altitude. It is also a note that there is a ring of 13 v3 satellites currently circling the Moon.
They are expecting a few more launches to add ore Satellites into various stages of Earth orbit as well as at least one more launch to place 13 more Satellites into Lunar Orbit on a different trajectory, in an effort to ensure that there are no gaps in the system. it is the hope of the Shazbotdom News Corporation, with the help of the Imperial Space Agency, to bring High Speed internet to all corners of the globe as well as to the individuals who will choose to be the Colonists of the Lunar Colonies.

The Lunar Colony
With the current Consturcton Schedule for the Lunar Colony, it is planned to be fully operational by the middle of October, with the first launch of Colonists to the Colony being announced by the Imperial Space Administration, via it's Setsuzoku account, to have it's Launch Windows being the 26th and 27th of October. The Colonists for the first launch have already been selected from the thousands of applications that were put forth. They have already begun to go through Zero G Training to prepare for the Launch and Travel Time. More news on this will come as the time of the launch gets closer.

Construction Continues
After a delay in building components for the High Orbit Transfer Station, construction has restarted on those components. This should brig the construction of the facility back on track. Completion is expected to happen by the end of this Calendar Year. The High Orbit Transfer Station will be utilized as a waypoint for Colonists heading to the Martian and Venusian Surfaces for when those Colonies are established. Work as also begun on designing a new space ship superstructure to be used to bring multiple segments of the Colonies for Mars and Venus.

To Space, The Empire Continues
As the future of Civilization seem to continue to stream steadily towards an apocalyptic end due to the war like tendencies of Government's who's sole function is spreading their corrupted government officials influence over the world, the Shazbotdom Empire is looking towards the continued survival of Humanity. Over the course of the last year, the Shazbotdom Empire has been working tirelessly at the expansion of humanity to the stars.

Since April this year we have worked tirelessly to plant segments onto the Lunar Surface that will become the first Permanent Human Settlement outside of the Earth's Atmosphere. According to a public records request by this paper, a total of 28 Missions have been initiated and completed for the First Lunar Colony. There have also been a total of 22 Missions for the building of the High Orbit Transfer Station, which will be utilized as a stopping point for future Colonization missions outside of Earth's Sphere of Influence to the Martian and Venusian surfaces.

Not too long ago, also, the Lunar Orbit Transfer Station was built and delivered into orbit over the Lunar Surface as a stopping point for Colonists from Earth to the Lunar Surface. There was also a grid of 32 Satellites put into Lunar Orbit to create a Satellite Internet system in orbit over the Lunar Surface, which will connect to Earth by multiple strategically positioned satellites in Low and Mid range Orbit over Earth. Shazbotdom Imperial Space Administration Director, Dr. Gilbert Godwin went on record saying, "If we are to Colonize the solar system, we need to ensure that our Colonists have a fast way to contact not only the Imperial Government, but also their family and friends back here on Earth". He went on to say, "This Satellite Internet Constellation was developed and manufactured in conjunction with our friends at the Shazbotdom News Corporation."

The future of Human Civilization looks bright, as long as people set aside their differences and work to not only ensure peace here on Earth, but ensure that Humanity spreads across the cosmos, starting with our closest neighbor Luna.
