Ludwig II of Bavaria was gay, he never married and never courted any mistresses, this built his eccentric image at the time.

Thanks to the influence of Finland, the pronoun 'hän' has superseded the now obsolete pronouns for two sexes, which is the pronoun everyone, including He Himself, uses. Furthermore, the King's sexual orientation is what is known in Forn Norrœnt Hæimr as SONOS (colloquially 'sonosexual'), standing for 'sexual orientation not otherwise specified'. The reason for this label is that the King's sexual orientation fits not one specific form of sexuality, but rather is a collection of multiple desires and pleasures. Most of the time He is expected to inhibit his sexuality to lead His people properly and without needless distractions, which has led to the misconception of Him being graysexual or asexual, which is not the case.
