The Christian Dominion of the West and the Levant have adopted the historic strategy and tactic of the Crusades, and the Monastic Order Structures of those such as the Knights Templar and Knights Hospitaller. There exists 12 Grandmasters to anaolgue the 12 Apostles; as such, their names during this rank are solely after an Apostle. They manage the main structure of the CDWL, administrating ministries that oversee finance, resources, defense, and other facilities. Alas, apart from the main CDWL territories, branch Masters can largely manage their own semi-independent groups following Biblical law.
The cells that the CDWL maintains are very diverse and specialized. Although recruits serve in open warfare, cell-units must be trained in the field of their most favored. For example, bombing cells train in the construction and deployment of IEDs, while assassination cells train in the rapid neutralization of targets and extraction. Some cells are more brutish than others, such as mass-shooting cells.
