So this was a thing.

For a crew served weapon it seems kinda nice. If they had just made it so that it could hold maybe only 2 rounds, one in the barrel one in the hopper, I think it would have been better allowing for some reduced weight. Never the less I would probably have placed in a heavy-weapon squad or a specifically designated light AT squad issued at the company level.

Which design of the Thracian helm looks more Hellenic: This or this? The former is a lot.... shinier.... but it seems less like the Thracian helms that Macedonian pikemen are generally depicted as wearing compared to the latter. Plus, the former is actual bronze, so it's more period and I don't have to worry about it rusting on me.

I'm not sure about either. The first doesn't look all that well made and I can't help but think something looks off about the second's face plates. Too flat and featureless, maybe?

When in doubt, go for the coolest, which is always the beard face plates.

Or of course you could find others.

I feel like the weathering/wear on the edges of the embossed areas looks pretty fake/cheap-y.

Yeah I think that's it. While it is actually shaped like that, it has been coloured/polished along the edges to make the patterns stand out more.
