To give the thread some kind of infantry-related topic - What is the organisation of your nation's "average" rifle squad?

I don't have any fancy pictures but the gruppe I was considering would be:

-Squad leader
Rifle Team
-Rifle Team leader
-Grenadier
-Automatic Rifleman
-Designated Marksman
-Rifleman
Machine-gun Team
-MG Team leader
-Gunner
-Gunner's assistant
Rocket Team (armed with rocket launcher or recoilless rifle, depending on mission)
-Rocket Team leader
-Gunner
-Gunner's assistant

The emphasis would be placed on the squad as a unified formation rather than the teams, whose lines can blur as the squad leader maneuvers and utilizes his manpower as necessary.

For police or special forces corner shot, and similar weapons, make some sense. You are attempting to limit collateral damage, don't necisarily have the same weight restraints, or the worry about operational length with those weights (especially for police ops).

For regular infantry the corner shot isn't going to improve their abilities, they don't need to worry about collateral damage to the same extent and have much more other weight they have to be carrying, and generally for longer times.

Closest I've gotten is decapitating a tendon-y deer skeleton. It took a bit, but that's because trying to smash flexible vertebrae that still have tendon there is a dumb idea to begin with.

As for cracking a pig skull, I have not, but have access to the materials required.
