No machineguns ever

Take 1920s/1930s squad
Create Winchester Automatic rifle
Give 2 barrels
Give it a bipod and Thompson style foregrip
Give to 2 men
Call them Vollymen

Squad is 13 men
2 fireteams of 6 and a NCO/WO, each with 1 Fireteam leader with a submachine Gun, 1 Vollyman, 1 Assistant Vollyman who carries extra magazines, 3 riflemen
Platoon has no Machine Gun: just 3 line squads and one Volly squad with 4 Vollymen

IARs are 4 fegets and GPMGs are irreliphant in the grimdark fast moving mobile warfare of the 1936 battlefeild, instantaneously high volumes of fire are necessary to allow the riflemen to fire accurately on point targets

Only thing that would be more fun is issuing a 8 barrel gyrojet to someone and literally making them fire a volly of 8 rocket assisted projectiles but that doesn't get automatic fire :\

Plastic is for babies and SVT/SKS is a best. My biggest regret is that, in bringing the stock in line with the action, I have lost the ability to utilize stripper clips.

Bayonet is on the models that aren't fitted with muzzle devices. Nite fite carbine has a crude, conical flash hider, so no bayonet.
