It does, but not really. You have to adjust vertical and horizontal skewing in order to achieve a rotational effect.

Why was the First Cohort of a Roman legion simply double strength instead of being regular strength but made up of the more experienced men of the legion? It could have even been a proper elite cohort made up of wealthier soldiers who could afford more/better equipment and their own carts for carrying more.

Each century in the First Cohort having a larger number of carts, which carry heavier armour, like manicas for each god damn limb. Makes killing barbarians easier.


Unless I'm very much mistaken and it was made up of the most experienced. But it just seems like it's a simple compensation for it being, if I remember correctly, the Legatus' personal cohort.

i dont care what you do with your drawings as long as theyre in scale so i can add them to a parts sheet

That said, the templates are laid out to lack outlines and the spergscale-tutorial.png assumes this. It seems a bit of extra effort to add in outlines to me but that's fine.

Iirc tge First Cohort was double strength due to its importance with having the aquilia standard, and that it was normally seated on the right of the battle line, which was where the auxiliary cavalr y would traditionally sit.

I'm pretty sure the Romans used tye First cohort as a breakthough force.

Also the Marian reforms threw experienced men ariund the cohorts of a Legion.

You could have a Legionary who is on hia first campaign with men of siniliar experience and those who have been other places around the known world. Commanded by a crusty old Ceturion from fucking Spain with like 29 years of battle experience.
