How are furries treated in your nation?

Furries on Stanier are treated the same as a regular citizen by the government and law enforcement agencies, and the regular population treats them just fine, although there's some small anti-furry groups on the countryside...

Did we mention that there's always a group of furries that sometimes camp in front of the embassy of The Albali Republic?, they are always dispersed by the Tahoma Police Department, they say is repression, but we just don't want the ambassador to get annoyed and shoot the campers with a plasma stun gun...

They don't exist here at all, and in fact, most people haven't even heard of such a thing before. They receive no treatment, positive or negative, as a result.

It's a mixed bag here for furries.

Furries are looked down upon by humans, but they are getting more recognition. Youkai, however, are especially discriminatory towards furries, and most types have no interest in doing anything to change that fact. The Kappa have shown interest in accepting furries, but they don't want backlash from other Youkai (especially from the Tengu, their allies).

They're restricted from some opportunities in the Human Village and any other place inhabited with humans, and barred from going into Youkai-populated areas for safety, with the exception of the Myouren Temple, which has slightly more tolerating Youkai (and because Byakuren is tolerant of them).

The Friends from Japari Park, a recently recognized Minority, seem to be fine with furries, though this might be because they themselves are animals transformed into humans.

Of course, there is very little interest for dressing up in a fur suit within our nation (Only 100 or so citizens are actually furry, and this is counting the Friends minority as well).

People admiring anthropomorphic animals believing in false creatures are sent into intense reconditioning rehabilitation, and treated as unholy heretics mentally ill patients. They are then kept in solitary confinement for four months, with a weekly check up. When they are fully brainwashed cured of their illness, they are now released into the public eyes, where they are executed for heresy embraced with welcoming arms.

Because truly, we know what's best for our citizens.

If we, however, do see one of these demonic creatures anthropomorphic animals, the savage animals our friendly furry friends are taken to custody welcomed in open arms, and are treated to intense electric shock our finest hotels. After seven years of isolation they are finished being treated like kings and queens, they are slowly killed returned to where they originally came from.

Furries are not banned, though it'd seem weird for Friends (Animal Girls) to try and be an animal they're not. It's mostly a human practice.

As for acceptance, they can co-exist within our nation, but they'd have a hard time trying to explain themselves to the Friend majority why they're like that (They think it's strange). If they're caught in the Sandstar Volcano eruption, which happens every three months, they turn into a friend if they have their Fur Suit on. Because of this, there's a temporary furry ban on the week of the eruption.

All furries and fandoms alike do not have restrictions on their standard citizenry rights, although in internet social views they tend to be criticized for being 'too childish', hence the freedom guaranteed by the Socialist Government to citizens and non-citizens.

Considering our nation's mainly knights, nobles and such, we don't spend most time on pop culture beyond old BBC comedies. Tourist furries arrive here every so often, but not explicitly, such as in fur suits.

Bronies, however, are touchy topic. Kind of like abortion, Black Lives Matter or LGBT in the USA, here in the KMN bronies are seen by some as diseased pigs and failures of man, and even heretics as Princess Celestia is essentially portrayed as a theocratic God. While that is the view on My Little Pony that is shared as it is considered theocratic and heretical propaganda, some of the high-rankers prefer a more lax view on them.

Currently the law is that furries are ignored, fur suits may be asked to be removed to prevent distractions and humiliation, whilst bronies are considered heretics and treated as such.
