Visa Agreements
The UCS recognizes three reciprocal arraignments regarding the requirements, or lack thereof, of visas regarding international travel.
Visa Free, meaning that citizens and permanent residents of either nation may spend up to a certain number of days in the other nation without obtaining a visa, so long as the visit is only for tourism or personal purposes.
Limited Visas, meaning that citizens from either nation are allowed to transit through each nation without requiring a visa and may remain in that nation for up to 72 hours while transiting. However, longer stays require visas, though some may be issues at a nations port of entry, with proof of exigent personal circumstance (i.e. family medical emergency).
Strict Visa, meaning that all visits to the other nation, including transiting, require a prior approved visa, with few or no exceptions.
Freedom of Movement
Countries with close diplomatic, cultural, or economic ties to the UCS may be approved to have a Freedom of Movement Agreement. Any nation may apply, but few will be accepted. Freedom of Movement allows for a Legal Resident or citizen of either nation may spend an unlimited amount of time in either nation. People with freedom of movement privileges may permanently live and work within the UCS, so long as their required documentation from their nation of origin is kept up to date.
