Urran Declares Victory, Oberstaufen Claimed Captured

The Urranese MoD has just announced that the capital city of Lochsten, Oberstaufen, has been taken over by Allied troops. Images showing the Urranese flag flying over the capitol building in the government district of that city seem to solidify claims that Urranese troops have indeed gained control over that city.

Our sources indicate that Urranese forces have ceased advancing about ten miles south of the city limits and seem to be focused on mopping up pockets of resistance.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister is once again dodging Parliament, claiming that military secrecy exemptions and rules of engagement kept her from informing Parliament of the MoDs actions in Lochsten. The case will go before the country's Supreme Court to see if Ms. Hanajima was truly in the wrong, or if the silence surrounding the invasion is within legal limits.

"Today is a great day for my party, as well as for Reutoa" was said by the new Chancellor of Reutoa; Dietrich Rottmanner of the National Freedom Party at his Campaign HQ in Herkin. Polls showed that over 80% of Reutoans voted for the candidate, after the news was released on Saturday by the Electoral Commission, Chancellor Schechter made the touch call to Rottmanner. Where he conceded his Seat to the NFP Leader, spokespeople from both sides said Rottmanner and Schechter had a pleasant conversation about the future and about the transition between governments. We have also gotten news that several Ministers will be staying in the New Rottmanner Administration to help the new Chancellor with running the Country; the Minister of Foreign Affairs and State are two of them. Opinions are mixed throughout the country, with people being seen cheering in the streets or protesting the elections.

Ygarthosphere rescinds GRCS Membership

Johannstadt (YN) — David V.D. Rey, the President of the Federal Republic of Ygartha, has come forward with a federal decision announcing the conclusive withdrawal of Ygartha, the Organisation of Oenosian States, and Calvario from the Greater Remnant Co-Prosperity Sphere. They have closed all 'General-Governor' positions within their nations, stating that it was; 'an attribute to colonial oppression, and not the will of the people living within Ygartha's protectorates, that they hereby be [supervised] by a single foreign official.' Large legislative backing on the decision officiated it recently, allowing the formal conclusion of their partnerships.

As a project for the future of Ygartha and her allies at large, President V.D. Rey continued by presenting a goal that would be achieved through mutual cooperation and communication of ideals: through the Continental System, Ygartha has begun making amends with the Valefontene Democratic Republic. Talks between diplomatic officials have been proceeding well, the bad blood between the two nations beginning to be put down for a potentially generous 'Journey in Unity' campaign to be made reality in the near future. The Journey in Unity campaign is a movement that initially began in Olmar Bay, Ygartha, on the idea of Ygartha becoming an additional member of the Continental System in order to truly unite them with their Ophiric neighbors. This movement spread to mainland Ygartha, and is now being put forward by the federal government in order to officiate a proper transition.

Officials confirmed that there will be a series of proper policy changes to better acclimate Ygartha to the Continental System's well built infrastructure, and suspect that within the coming times they will see a new era of prosperity brought forward that neither COLSEC nor the GRCS could make possible.

Ygartha Leaves GRCS, Zhangua Raises Tensions

Hours ago, Ygartha, Calvario and the Oenosian States left the Greater Remnant Cooperation Sphere in one single motion, shaking up the GRCS bloc, where membership was recently reformed by a Ygarthene-led initiative and forcing the GRCS Council to two seats. While most nations left in the GRCS have not had time to draft a public statement on the issue, and the GRCS Council has stated repeatedly no comment to the developments, the URA and Zhangua have both released public statements.

The Remnant press secretary earlier today released a written statement signed by President Drake stating that "the URA is both saddened and heartbroken to see Ygartha strike a blow against continental and Southern solidarity, a policy the Ygarthans themselves worked so hard in order to try to achieve. However, we respect the Ygarthene right to sovereignty and choose what they believe is best for their own people." The statement goes on to say that the Remnant delegate at the GRCS Council has brought up repealing several Ygarthene-led initiatives within the GRCS, but no further details were given.

The Zhanguan statement, however, was posted on Zhanguanese President Zhupan's personal social media pages. "This is an unsurprising and expected move from a nation of racial supremacists who have historically worked to erode the peace and stability of whatever region they set their sights on. The recent peace between our nations was the exception rather than the rule, and this political attack against a project that Zhanguanese patriots have fought and died to protect is not below the Ygarthene people. That the Continental System, a bloc that our own ancestral homeland is party to, accept such a bigoted regime into their ranks is telling not only of the Continental System's true goals of aspiring to be just like the Northern Imperialists, but also of the degradation of our Tangaliroan roots into a rotten culture unable to stand up for its own people." The Zhanguanese diatribe continues. While the Zhanguanese are an Associate of the GRCS, Zhanguanese public relations outlets have stated they will be seeking a full voting membership on the Council and will be "aggressively following their former international agenda items."

Other nations, such as Nongea, Canaam, and Namavar have not given a public statement of their own, but the leaders of all three nations have commented their supported to President Zhupan's press release, with Canaamese President Anh stating that the Ygarthene withdrawal is Zhangua's equivalent of the Pacifican imperialist goals in Kopenh.

Xinjing(Xinjing Daily) -- On a press conference yesterday, Tangaliroan foreign affairs made a response against the accusations made by Zhangua on a recent statement, attacking the double-standards of Zhangua on Ygartha and questioning who is the truly rotten Sinican nation.

On the 23rd of June, Tangaliroan foreign affairs spokesperson Chen Youwei made a remark on the Zhanguanese president's statement against Ygartha's drift away from the GRCS, stating that Zhangua's statement not only did not achieve whatever goal the GRCS wants to achieve through it, but exposed the true nature of the Zhanguan government's double-standards and incompetence.

On the press conference, Chen questioned "Where were the Zhanguans and their statements when Ygartha joined the GRCS?", stating that the huge difference between their reactions during Ygartha's application for GRCS membership and their withdrawal proved the biased nature of the Zhanguan government's accusation against the CS. After making said remark, he continued to question the status of the sovereignty and the inheritance of Sinican cultural values of the Zhangua, asking that if the Zhanguan government is truly acting on their own accord over the Ygartha issue, or are merely serving as a puppet to satisfy the strategic interests of certain nation, attacking their fellow Sinican brothers in Tangaliro, which shares the same ancestor and cultural origin with Zhangua, with a hypocritical accusation that applies equally well on themselves.

Chen then clarified that Tangaliro does not support, and will never support Ygartha's crimes against any Sinican. He said that Tangaliro would have demanded a formal and official Ygarthene apology over their misdeeds in the apartheid era as well, but Ygartha has already apologized twice already. However, he added that despite that, Tangaliro, as the true heir to the glorious Sinican state, does not need to bring up the past misdeeds of others against it constantly, because a true Sinican nation does not live on the pity of others, but the strength of itself.

He then made a quote from Grand Marshal Shen Xuewen over the matter.

Tangaliro will continue to stand proudly among the world's power as an independent and powerful nation, unite its people and march toward their next victory against whoever dares to step upon the great heavenly kingdom, rather than being a vassal of another nation's strategic interests. Tangaliro stands with pride among the free and sovereign leaders of the Continential System, and will continue to stand with its allies. The nation has full voting rights in the CS councils, and has the power to protect its allies through foreign garrisons, unlike the Zhanguans under their corrupt and incompetent government in its current status.

Fact is the only standard to verify truth. The Zhanguan government called our culture rotten, and that we are unable to stand up for our own people, but the apparent fact right now is that it is an international consensus that Tangaliro is a sovereign emerging power, while the Zhanguans under their current government are nothing more than a mere puppet state of the Remnants. We are not an enemy of the GRCS, Tangaliro itself is also a partner with the Remnants on an equal basis, we do not wish to attack the Remnants in this, but the imperialistic act of using our fellow brotherly Sinican nation of Zhangua to attack us is a vicious crime against the Sinican people, and a heartbreaking betrayal of our trust. We do not wish to see our Zhanguan brothers and sisters used as a token for the interests of another nation again. We are fully aware of the potential consequences this speech will cause, and are ready to take the repercussions over our statement, but if our words can truly awake our Zhanguan brothers of their current status, and help them to strive to a position of dignity and pride, then it is worth it.

Normally one would say something like 'god bless the country' to end their speech, but that will not be our case. There is no god to bless us, if we want a time of peace and an era of pride and dignity, we must do it ourselves, not only to hold true to our country and our people, but to hold true to Sinican cultural values as well. No matter in Taoism or Tangaliroan Buddhism, theres always an emphasis of the mortal world, and the reliance on the acts of mortals rather than divinity to achieve salvation. There is no god or savior to help us, if we want to prosper, we must do it ourselves. Through the hands of our hardworking and intelligible people, we built Tangaliro into its current might, through the resilience and bravery of our soldiers, throughout five thousands year of history we remained whole. This is not an act of god, this is the sheer power of our will!

- After several rounds of negotiations, Canaam and the Commonwealth of the South Pacific have opened up borders between Canaam and the bordering Pacifican territory of Kopenh. This is seen by GRCS parties to hopefully reduce tensions between the historic rivals in a time when continental tensions are at a peak.

- International Gladiatorial Championship 2 is scheduled to take place at some point in the coming weeks. The format will be a 16-person tournament, similar to the original tournament. Many of the participants of the first championship have already voiced their intent to participate again, including IGL1's champion, Vacifican fighter Grímhildr Laine, and there are still openings for other potential gladiators to fight. - The semi-annual Patriot Sea Military Games are scheduled to begin June 5th between the URA, Namavar, Nongea, and Zhangua. Ygartha, Vacif, and Valefontaine have all been invited to participate in the games as well, in order to further the intended goal of joint military readiness for the navies protecting Luscios.

- The CPD has officially pulled out of Imalakia following the recent political shakeups between the URA and Ygartha. While the CPD played a minor supporting role for Ygarthan operations in the war-torn Ophiric nation, the pullout could be seen as a further degradation of continental cohesion between former allies. Remnant spokespeople have stated that this is not the case and the withdrawal is due to ongoing conflicts elsewhere in the world that require potential rapid responses.

The Highly Conversational Bill drafted by Chancellor Rottmanner passed today in the Reichstag to a vote of 389 to 111, leading to the opposition walking out of the Reichstag. When interviewed by a reporter on the field, Chancellor Rottmanner (who was there to see his bill pass) said "I could care less if the opposition walks out, we still have the numbers needed to vote on any bills we want to. Them walking out makes this job easier for me." The Bill is supposed to take effect starting on Sunday, after the necessary preparations have been taken by public officials in New Wilhelmland. A statement has been put toward by the Leadership of Kamurian Representatives saying they are worried about what this could mean for their clients.

Military Republic of Donner Land passes vote on pursuing a Nuclear Weapons Program

A rather un-noted vote in the Donnish Council Chambers in Bögt recently affirmed the pursuit of arming the Donnish Military with nuclear weapons today with a reported 26-99 vote in favor of creating a Nuclear Weapons Program. The 26 who declined were all Conservative Council Members with one Liberal Member with a loud history of preaching against war and violence in a bid for pacifism. While those who voted for were a reported coalition of Moderates and Liberals. The Military Council unilaterally voted for the measure which, strangely enough, was proposed by President Keenes themselves. Executive Proposals not been done in nearly 2 decades.

Keenes had nothing to say on the matter and dismissed reporters upon questioning about the meaning of this sudden change in Donnish Military Doctrine. Any and all military contacts that we had contacted about this quickly hung up on us upon bringing up the topic and said that "A press briefing will be held relatively soon on a currently undecided date and time concerning your topic." The entire thing has been kept under hush-hush until recently when the vote passed it appears, without notifying at all the press.

We spoke to the conservatives who had rejected the vote for as to why they did so. All of them, more or less, had answered us saying that "such an action (a nuclear weapons program) is largely against the fundamental teachings of the Mountain God and puts us in a position that we are positive will backfire on Keenes and the people of Donner Land." or have all stated that Donner Land is not ready for such a position in the world as a Nuclear Power.

On religion, to readers who are not familiar with Donnish Mythology, its largely taken at face value that "The Mountain God" looks down unfavorably on Nuclear Weapons. As they are seen to ruin the land that he had worked hard to create and ruthlessly destroy life on a mass scale not tolerable. Of course, wars happen and people die, but between wars, it is taught that there is a time to rest and recuperate the losses. Nuclear Weapons do not allow such a thing and they permanently doom land to inhospitable conditions.

That is if they are used, of course.

This is a huge change in doctrine for the Donnish Armed Forces, who have not seen Nuclear Weapons as particularly useful in the years before. Now, however, thanks to Keenes influence and the changing of the guard in the "Brass", there seems to be a large shift in doctrine on Nuclear Weapons, in the past seen as an Offensive weapon which "Does not make sense for a defensive military." as one general aptly put it in 2012. Now, however, as the Donnish Government becomes more outward, the military changes too.

It is currently unknown what the talks are about, however, it should be noted that both nations talking to GRCS are Ophiric, and promptly Humanity First.

Chancellor Strobel announces that Livea will send troops to Namquoc in pursuit of peaceful goals

Philipsburg, Livea -- Earlier this morning, Chancellor Strobel announced to the world that Livea will intervene in Namquoc to preserve the peace and protect those who could not be protected. The Bundestag voted yesterday on the matter, and in a nearly tied vote, the motion passed into the Bundesrat where it was accepted. The initial amount of troops, or advisors, that will be sent will be around five hundred.

However, the bill passed by the Diet allows for further waves and in essence, more soldiers, to be sent if deemed neccesary by Chancellor Strobel and President Holzer. Strobel also announced that the first wave will arrive by tommorow to 'preserve the peace and protect those who could not be protected.' There is no current statement by the Republic of Namquoc or Tangaliro at this time.

After taking some time to convene, the Strategic Council has made finally made a response to the New Roman demands that Zamada be evacuated. In a press conference today, Representative Arnold Veinriche stated “...We wanted to take our time to reach the decision that benefits the people of not only the OS, but the union as a whole, being sure to weigh the wellbeing of the International community while giving the deserving attention to the citizens and natives of the Island [Zamada]. AGSON Begins Construction of Antarctic Base

Officials from the Association of Grey Sea Organizations and Nations (AGSON) has announced that construction has officially begun on a permanent research base on the Antarctic Continent.

A contingent of scientists from the six AGSON nations landed on the Antarctic landmass via icebreakers provided by the Urranese Coast Guard and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Valaran Coast Guard.

According to an official AGSON press release, the purpose of the base is to conduct climatic and biological research and surveys, as well as working towards potentially tapping Antarctic resources in an environmentally responsible way.

Construction on the base will take several months, during which time the scientists and other team members will live aboard the ships currently anchored within the ice shelf. Once construction is complete, AGSON teams will then be able to live on the continent year round to conduct their research.

In a separate press release, the Urranese Ministry of the Environment and Department of Energy have a announced that they are examining the potential environmental impact of allowing Antarctic tourism in the form of cruises launched from Guangdong in Sishai, or Half Moon Island in the Southern Ocean. The Ministry says that it hopes that the tours, if feasible, will generate both an interest in preserving the planet, as well as tourist dollars for local Urranese territorial economies.

The government has also deployed an armed nuclear icebreaker to the region to enforce international fisheries laws and protect the Southern Ocean from encroachment by poachers and illegal exploitation.

Maharlika denies the Oceanic State access within its territory

Sugbu(MWorld Online)-- Recently this afternoon, the Maharlikan High Council declared that the Republic of Maharlika will deny the Oceanic State any access and passage within Maharlika’s Exclusive Economic Zone(EEZ).

Tensions have been arising in the island of Zamada lately after the Roman government decided to assert their claims on the Oceanic State held island, claiming that “the island of Octavianus is justified to be Roman territory by right.” After which, there was a large increase of Roman military activities within the vicinity of Zamada and the Roman government demanded that OS citizens should be evacuated from the island.

Two days ago, there were a plethora of reports stating that the Oceanic State had sent out a small naval detachment and were nearing the country’s EEZ, hastening the decision of the High Council to classify the agenda regarding OS as extremely important.

With an agenda meeting that began since yesterday, the High Council had an intense discussion whether the state must allow the Oceanic State’s fleet access through Maharlika’s Exclusive Economic Zone and state’s stance in the whole island dispute as a whole.

“The decision-making process for this event was incredibly tough. The debate feels like they were almost neck to neck with each other and it looked like only a single person could make really a difference in the voting process.” High Council Spokesperson Harry Roque said on Tuesday.

The Council finalized their decision today and had a voting process. They voted for two issues today, Allowing OS military access within the Maharlikan EEZ and whether the state should intervene militarily in the dispute. The first issue’s voting results were 34-35, with 34 State Councilors agreeing that OS be given military access and 35 State Councilors disagreeing that OS be given military access. Voting results for the next issue resulted to 15-45-9, with 15 Councilors agreeing that the state should intervene with the dispute, 45 disagreeing that the state should intervene, and 9 Abstaining from the vote.

High Council Spokesperson Garry Roque announced this afternoon that “One of the most intense debate this month finally concluded and the High Council thus, announce two things: The state will not allow the Oceanic State military access within the Maharlikan Exclusive Economic Zone and the state will not intervene militarily in the dispute.”

In an MWord interview regarding the explanation of the High Council’s decision, Roque states that “The majority of the State Councilors who did not support passage of OS owned vessels justified their decision on the basis that their decision will prevent unnecessary casualties between the NIR and OS governments. Regarding the second vote, it was also decided by the decision that would bring the least number of casualties.”

When Roque was asked by our reporters if Maharlikan military action was likely to happen, Roque simply replied that the High Council trusts that the government of the Oceanic State that they are rational enough to obey the state order given by the Maharlikan High Council and not otherwise.

However, Roque also added, “The High Council also wants to clarify two things: The decision does not solely apply to military vehicles, but there will also be a temporary ban of Oceanic State-owned Civilian vessels passing through the EEZ. And although the state will not pursue military action, the government will allow aggressive actions done by the Maharlikan Armed Forces if any OS owned vessels will attempt to pass through the Maharlika’s EEZ.”

When Roque was asked on how the Maharlikan government will assist both governments to lower their tension, Roque replied that “The High Council will be looking for ways to assist the dispute using pacifistic political methods.” However, Roque did not assure that peaceful methods will succeed and left before MWorld reporters could ask for more questions.

Anowa Mobilizes Towards the Modenian Border

In the first time for nearly 70 years, the Anowan government prepares a mass deployment of troops upon a foreign nation. Last night at 1800 hours, elements of the First Anowan Active Army Group and Nordlan Home Defense Group were awoken from their barracks, and issued orders to mobilize in the preparation of an imminent declaration of war, as the Anowan Military has raised it's readiness to Condition 2. The last time in recent history the Anowan military has been at such a condition is when King Garris IV and his family, awaiting a full blown civil war to erupt.

Anowan high command has remained understandably tight lipped about deployment plans and possible support, but it is known that the Anowan Government has withdrawn it's foreign embassy staff from Vanquaria, the Helghan Empire, Greater Liverpool, Western Pacific Territories, and Neo Roma. A ultimatum has also been given to the Liverpudlian Government stating that the Liverpudlian forces should withdraw to internationally recognized borders within the next 8 days, otherwise, Anowa will remove itself as a Dominion observer, and issue the state a formal declaration of war.

Queen Oleander II has been quoted as stating: "We stand in defense with our smaller neighbour, along with PACT and GRCS governments. The rather worrying and outright unprovoked invasion of the state of the USSN is brash, pointless, and generally indicative of a barbaric foreign policy of wanton invasion and paranoia. The inability for the Liverpudlian state to even attempt talks or any other avenue of approach beyond military action is unacceptable. The USSN which has a population of citizens beyond capable of taking things into their own hands as per their own wishes, would be capable of doing so if their so called 'communist oppressors' really were as such. At the moment, the Liverpudlian invasion is nothing short of a neo-imperialist cancer under the poorly lit guise of intervention which has no place in the world, on paper or in action, and should be ruthlessly and swiftly excised."

More than a few member of the Anowan public see Oleander's words as an all but final statement on the Anowan Gov't's thoughts on the current issue in west East Helsa. "It is fully expected that the ultimatum will be refused," General Herrman, Anowan Army Chief of Staff stated, "But at least an attempt to solve this issue without conflict was made." It seems that despite all efforts, it's fully expected that Anowa will be going to war.

NIR Joins GRCS

New Rome – The Caesar, announced today that talks with GRCS concluded with the introduction of the NIR into that organization. He said that GRCS agreed to include Humanity First in its doctrine. The NIR will also open trade to all GRCS nations, with free trade available to all member states.

In his statement, the Caesar said that joining the GRCS is a beneficial that will help all Romans, not just citizens. He also said that GRCS will help liberate Octavius island, currently occupied by subhumans.

With this move, the NIR also applied to downgrade status in the Dominion from Member to allied state.

With the volatility of Trayvik's neighbors becoming apparent more and more, Eli Maddock has decided to push forward bill to increase defense spending. The move comes after the successful testing and frontline introduction of the Surface Laser and other hardware. Several billion booleans expected to go for increased testing of experimental weapons and equipment for our troops.

Protests, although brief, have broke out in Condorra and other States in the TS in protest to increased spending.

SORSOKINA - Today marks the finalization of talks between Vacifan leaders and the Coalition's leadership regarding the Democratic Republic's admittance to the defense coalition. After much deliberation and discussion within the higher echelons of the Vacifan government after the seemingly inefficient mission in Turmenistan, the decision was made to become part of a larger, more organized body to make better use of Vacifan assets overseas. The decision to join PACT was partially between having key allies already within the organization's membership, and the organization's operational goals. The government has similar beliefs regarding the organization's goals for upholding civil liberties, and human living standards.

ISOFCE 2018: A Deeper Look

It's June again and that means every general's favorite gun and rambo festival is in full motion. The International Special Operations Forces Cooperative Exhibit is an annual event held in Pakiranistan geared towards the training of special operations forces as well as combined exercises. The exhibition is also used as a hub to showcase new military technology and the facilitation of arms sales between natons. The event is sponsered by the Pakiranistani Armed Forces and was first held in 2001. It is the brainchild of now retired Pakiranistani Lieutenant General Hakan Al Fasul who's motives for the event were to inspire military cooperation between nations in the fields of special operations forces and counter-terrorism. ISOFCE has since evolved into one of the largest if not the largest defense expo in all of Ausozera with military firms such as Vertaults Industries, Vritra Manufacturing, Precision Grade Munitions, Hovea National Armory all having reserved booths in the past or are taking part currently .

The exhibition is carried out over 2 weeks and is broken down into three phases. The first phase lasts 5 days and is reserved for military firms and nations to mingle together to market and purchase high end military technology and hardware. The second phase which lasts 2 days is devoted to providing crash courses/ introductory training on the equipment purchased by nations, courtesy of the ISOFCE staff. The third phase which takes over the remainder of the event is dedicated to training exercises and competitions between various international special forces entities with various prizes and awards being presented in many fields to the top tier forces. The most sought out after awards are presented to the winners of an annual competition, the competitions themselves are grueling and designed to prove who is the overall better special forces organization and in order to keep SOF teams on their toes, the events are changed every year. For example, last year the competition pit 4 man SOF teams against each other in both a time and elimination challange. Teams were tasked with commandeing one of the many vehicles scattered around the area, each vehicle had a map leading to a simulated town which the teams had to reach in order to refuel their vehicles all the while having to eliminate the rival teams around them. Teams were scored on tactics, teamwork, speed and the amount of eliminations.

The competitions have gathered a large international following after the events were live streamed for the first time in 2012 and thousands of fans were recorded viewing the event. ISOFCE staff took notice of the popularity of the competitions and began selling merchandise styled and themed after the participating special forces organizations, the merchandise ranged from hats and range sunglasses to accessories for firearms such as a Donnish SCAR themed M4A1 lower reciever. Many new firms are scheduled to take part in ISOFCE this year with one in particular we would like to take a closer look at. Vertaults Industries is Donner Land's main developer of military arms and technology and their decision to book a booth in ISOFCE '18 is a change from Donner Land's strict export conditions regarding military hardware. From the information we have recieved, one of the weapons being brought by Vertaults Industries is the VR-19. An indigneous select-fire bullpup rifle with the ability to fire a multitude of calibers, the rifle has already seen export to Valaran and is expectected to be a chief competitor to Esgonian firearms.
