Welcome to the Brasil Novo National News Agency, a Brazilian State-Owned news company, created in the year of 2040 under the Roberto Santos (The Fifth Republic period) mandate.

Originally, to own a copy of the newspaper, the person need to paid for it, but the first BNNNA director, Mr.Juan Andrade (Born in 1976, deceased in 2050), went against the wishes of the President, and decided that copies of the newspaper should be free and available to everyone. Due to this, the newspaper had not released its first edition, and Roberto abandoned the project. But popular pressure by supporting the ideas of Juan made the President change his mind, and on November 25th, 2040 (a Sunday) the Newspaper has relased to the public, with around 4 million of physical copies sold every day. Now the Newspaper has a Online Edition with 47 million of subscribers and a Public TV Channel.

The director of BNNNA is currently the Minister of Communications of Brasil Novo, Mr.Pedro Alves.

Shootout at the Patriot Mall Kills 12

Yesterday, day 25, 5 bank robbers entered at the Patriot Mall (the biggest of the Patriot Hills) and and opened fire on a armoured-car that was parked in the mall parking lot. The purpose is not known, because the armored car would not transport money that day, and the 5 robbers were killed by the car security team. In the shotout, the 5 robbers, armed with three shotguns and 2 RA-34 Rifles were killed, but too 3 pedestrians along with 4 of 8 security guards. The Police of the city thinks that the shootout were somehow a failed terrorist attack. The Mall will be closed for 4 days after the attack, for police investigation. Based on this, the politicians of the Far Right in the National Council require the return of the death penalty, abolished three years ago in a wish of the President Roberto II.

São Paulo receives the Pan American Art Expo 2066

In this Monday the Pan American Art Expo 2066 will open in São Paulo. This is the second time that Brasil Novo is the patron of PAAE, being the first one in 2059. Created in 2054, the PAAE is the fifth biggest Art Exposition of the World, and one of the 10 most populars. According to the São Paulo Police Force, the security system is heavy and the police well prepared. In one week of exposition, it's expected that 20.000 People will visit the PAAE 2066 in São Paulo. The tickets costs 10$ each. To teachers, retired and kids below the 12 years, the ticket costs 5$.
