With the demise of the Second Andamonia Empire in December of last year, and the institution of the republic, it is my duty to inform you that Ambassador Shala Altlacoia has been recalled from her position by order of His former Majesty Emperor Amahuiz. This would have been conveyed in the last days of the empire; the republic deems it its duty to ensure the message is received prior to our appointment of a suitable replacement.

We firstly acknowledge the tireless work done by Ambassador Altlacoia to represent the interests of the Andamonian people, and we assure you her replacement will be no less indefatigable. On the nomination of His Excellency President Azanj Timaloc, the Grand Assembly has appointed Peyri Meihanaua to the position of Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Hindia Belanda. Mr Meihanaua should be well-known within your diplomatic circles, having previously been attached to the Andamonian embassy in Noordenstaat from 2012 to 2017; before that posting, he was assigned as deputy ambassador to Berique from 2009. His most recent assignment, negotiating new trade agreements and fostering closer ties with the Republic of Maqtajer over a period of four months, has, we trust, adequately endowed him with knowledge of the economic and political climate in southwest Sythith. It is my greatest honour, therefore, to transmit to you through this letter that the Council of State of Hindia Belanda, being the highest executive body in the Commonwealth, has welcomed the decision with only the greatest delight and optimism.
