Royal, Atlantic, Nation, (R,A,N,)

The Royal Atlantic Nation (Some times called the United Atlantic Kingdoms) or R.A.N. for short, is an island country. The island in which the country is on is a circular island about the shape of Australia, and about as wide as the British Island is long. The country is few miles off the coast of Spain, and was founded in 1622 when up risers kicked the Spanish Empire from the island. The first came to be called the United Atlantic Kingdoms for there were 6 "Kingdoms" in the country. The Island was cut in half by a very wide river, 3 of the "Kingdoms" were on either side, but each "Kingdom became the country's first, and only states in 1638, and became completely unified. Cliffs almost covered the entire coast facing Spain, and the European countries, except three spots which were flat sandy beaches all being about 1 to 1.5 miles long.

The country's grounds were flat, and in perfect condition for growing all kinds of crops. (Basically imagine the America Continent but smaller.) And unlike the British Empire they could provide for themselves all the resources they needed to keep them going.

For they feared a Spanish invasion at any given time, they quickly formed up both a Navy, and a Ground Army in a span of 3.5 years, one oft he world's quickest mobilization. And ounce that Army, and Navy was formed they spent almost all their day training, and in the Year 1689 they were credited with having the strongest ground force since the Spartans.

During the countries life span they stayed out of many conflicts seeing them self as being to small, of a country to go against the world's Empires. But by the First World War they felt that it was time for the world to see their mite first hand, and not from training fields. When the Germans started the War the R.A.N. government joined them, and helped produce weapons of war. In 1915 the French using the three sandy beeches invaded the country, but just like in Europe a dead lock of trenches were formed, and R.A.N. than signed a cease fire with the other country about 3 months before the first tank was fielded.

So since they quit the war they were spared of many of the punishments that were inflicted onto the Germans. But When the second World War erupted, and the R.A.N. Government saw how easily the Polish, and the French fell to the Germans they decided to stay neutral. But in January, 1941 the Spanish joined the Axis forces, and allowed the Germans to invade R.A.N. seeing it as pay back for abandoning them in the Great War, but also as a test for the Invasion of Britain that seemed to be on the horizon. The German invaded again on the Tree Sandy beeches and the R.A.N. forces met them there, and were able to keep them from taking to of the three beeches but they decided to retreat for they knew the Germans would soon be flanking them from the beech they captured. In the next few years of fighting the R.A.N. army struggled against the German onslaught but they were also buying time for the best ultimate defense plan. The R.A.N. government fortified the entire River that split the country. They fitted all guns of all sizes, and many kinds of fortifications there (Think of any type of gun, or fortification a military force may use and they had it there.).

In 1944 a month before D-Day the R.A.N. forces were able to push the German Army off the country seizing many kinds of equipment in the proses. But since the American practically denied any kind of trading with R.A.N. they basically stayed out for the rest of the war. The only other country in the Allied forces that traded with R.A.N. was the British for they sent them M3 Grants when the Sherman came into play, and sent a few of them to them as well, which R.A.N. based a whole tank family on.

After the War they kept what they called The River Defense Line in operation, and strengthened their Army, and Navy, and in 1958 they were ounce again credited for having one of the strongest army, and navy in the world. And in 1959 France was getting tired of people treating them like crap for they failed to stand a chance against the Germans, so in December 1959 seeing R.A.N. as the only other country they could get away with for going to war the declared war... and lost that war in 3 years.

R.A.N. still thrives today, still having one of the strongest army, air force, and navy in the world.
