I am Neo Phoenicia, and my map skills are okay I guess but I have taken up the reigns on this endeavor of ours. I'll do my best to make everyone happy with their placement in the world but...
First, some ground rules:
1: This is a map of Earth as it is today, if you wish me to add landmasses where there are none I will (to my best ability), but I will not add water where there is none.
2: This is a modern day REALISTIC setting, with REALISTIC military sizes/populations and REALISTIC weaponry
3: Nations with prior claims on map 1.0 have precedence when selecting territories unless they so wish to change to a different area
4: The ic global population may not exceed 10 billion, so keep your populations reasonable especially if you're in a small nation (You do not need a large population or military to be powerful or influential)
5: Claims will have to go through me, and keep them within reason, ex: if you select Russia, or China you can't claim all of it
6: You do not need to claim an entire nation, you can make up borders if you so wish as long as you communicate where you want them.

8: The world is to scale with the size of earth, there is plenty of land to go around
9: Please resolve territorial disputes over initial claims DIPLOMATICALLY, this is not an excuse to engage in war
