Overview Aurelia is a newly created, modern-tech, role playing region and community dedicated to such. Aurelia is also a closed world, meaning that all in-character events occur only in Aurelia and does not recognize other regions and real-life matters within IC domain.
Aurelia strives to create a world where players can interact with each other in an open and friendly environment. We want to create a world that is fluid and dynamic as the players involved in it, but to keep a realistic mind and attitude when creating it. Nations of all backgrounds, ideology, and governments can be found working together or against one another to create a lively and enjoyable world.
Aurelia is interested in RPers who are able to competently and knowledgeably role-play with others. If you are a salt-dog who has been here a good minute or if you are someone who has just entered the world of NationStates, we will be open to anyone who is interested in joining.
Administration Aurelia uses a system a direct democracy concerning all regional matters and affairs. Enforcement of regional stability from troublemakers and Gameplay-side politics will be handled as soon as possible. Aurelia is not interested in troublemakers or gameplaying, including raiding/defending.
Joinig
If you are interested in joining or if you just have a question, you can ask on this thread, telegram this account, or join the IRC. Please give a brief overview or idea of what your nation will be like. When claiming your spot on the map, keep in mind your nations demographics, culture, style, etc. in relation to other nations around you. A 500 million population cap also exists. If your claim is deemed to be too large or "wankish" you will be asked to reduce it.
Regional administrators reserve the final say on whether or not you can have something (Ex: If we say you don't have thousands of nukes, then you don't have thousands nukes).
Notes
The Map
While the map is still incomplete, new joiners will still be able to make your claims. The missing parts of the map are a Western continent, more added islands, and fine tuning. If you are wanting to be on the planned western continent, please be patient until it is added.
