The other Cults' leadership positions are aware of this distantly, but it is not addressed, being essentially a taboo subject. Most citizens are not aware of it.

Some of the most commonly cited groups include: University of New Gloucester graduates, Kingford City supporters, the Teutonic Knights (no word on why or how they got involved in Waspeaters), devil worshippers, viola players, and Tidy Garden, the nation's most popular chain of garden centres.

Alliance to Restore the Republic is a Dwipantaran secret society whose primary goal is the restoration of an independent Dwipantaran Republic under the 18th of August 1945 Pantjasila system. They started as a secret intellectual and political club who sprung up following the Khilafah takeover in the late 1960's, with the goal of preserving a pro-Republiken deep state in the academia and state apparatus. Over time, the Alliance expand and include nationalists, socialists, moderate Muslim mass organizations, military-intelligence-judicial deep state, and even the underground mafia. But it's in the 90's where the Alliance's influence really took off, driven by economic malaise, push for self-governance, exhausting separatist wars, and widespread opposition against mandatory Jihad conscription. With the central Khilafah government in Arabia weakened by internal turmoil and economic collapse, the regional government was forced to kowtow to Republiken demands little by little, culminating in the passage of the 1997 Electoral Bill that will allow the first free and fair elections in the archipelago after 40 years.

The Alliance as a whole is governed by the secretive shadow council known as the "Committee of Nine", consisted of the leaders of each major factions within the Alliance. The Committee then exercise control through a cabinet-like system, each member serving as a "minister" for a specific sector or "council":

• Council of Bull, consisted of representatives from major trade unions and mass organizations, serves as the primary organizer of mass mobilization and civil disobedience, with the goal of putting constant pressure to the regional government.
• Council of Elephant is a forum of moderate Muslim reformists tasked to engineer Islam for Republikens' interests.
• Council of Scops Owl is responsible for communications and cooperations with foreign intelligence agencies and governments.
• Council of Spider is a judicial deep state tasked to launch an organized lawfare campaign against key Khilafah supporters and weaken their effective cohesion, one person at a time.
• Council of Eagle is a clique of native-born, pro-Republiken military officers responsible for taking over the armed forces from Khilafah control and prepare a limited coup.
• Council of Fox is a network of activists and media big shots whose primary task is the running of the Alliance's propaganda machine and the construction of pro-Republiken narratives.
• Council of Dragons is a mafia alliance tasked to carry out the "dirty work" and neutralize the threat from rival pro-Khilafah mafia groups.
