Newport is located in Newport, St. Helens. Its high-rise apartment buildings overlook the docks, which are a source of many jobs and the place where most of our imports enter the islands. The docks are also home to a number of retail outlets and other things (such as taxis, bars, nightclubs, restaurants and so on) intended for tourists, who come on large cruise-ships as many as two or three per day at the height of the tourist season.

Beyond the docks and the seaport, the city spreads east and west along the coastline, with numerous beachfront bars, shops, restaurants and other businesses as well as areas of exclusive villas for the well-off. The city also moves inland, gently climbing up the slopes towards the state-owned lumber camps and banana plantations on its boundaries. Further along the coast, west of the docks is the marina, where the wealthy keep their yachts; just off of the marina are several exclusive clubs & bars.

The National Football Stadium (capacity: 16,000) lies within the city limits, in the hills overlooking the marina near an area of social housing, where some of the poorest people in the islands live (within easy access of both the plantations & the docks, which they usually work on). The Islands Commonwealth University also sits in the hills overlooking the city, with most students living on campus during their term of study.

St. John's Cathedral, affiliated to the Anglian Catholic Church, is the largest religious buuilding in the islands. Situated in the old town, surrounded by mainly by buildings of a similar age, it attracts huge numbers of visitors (both religious and tourists) each year; for a fee, you can even book your wedding there!

Newport has a total population of around 170,000 - over a third of the entire population of the islands and just under a half of the population of St. Helens. The seat of government, Assembly House, is located in the old town across the square from the cathedral, while the first minister's house is on Bentham Street just behind. Several other government buildings, such as the various ministries, are also located in this area of the city.

Altea is what New York City would be like in the middle of Missouri.
There's a lot of skyscrapers, with billboards everywhere, and many, many office buildings around the city.
There's a small part that is like a suburban area, that has old houses, which are well maintained.
But our shining gem is the C.H.A.O.S base, which is one tall skyscraper, a sphere shaped building, a cross shaped building, and a golden temple under construction. The base is near a beach.

Incroya, the capital city of the Federation of Opheli, is a small city situated along an isolated large glacial lake in the foot hills of the Northeast Ridge Mountains. Home to about 178,000 people, the city is a hub within the otherwise thinly inhabited region of the nation, with vendors from local communities creating a vibrant atmosphere. The city has no high rise buildings, save the National Directory Building, the meeting place of the nation's legislature, which stands at 10 stories.

We do not have a "true" capital as it changes every election, with the new President's place of residence becoming the capital. The current capital is a small town known as Mt. Dew. It is situated on the base of Mountain Dew, the highest peak in Hatipin. A large, 8 story statue of a Mountain Dew bottle stands in the town square, a tribute to its cultural relevance. The town itself is quite small, it has a population of around 5000 people. It is however self sustaining; it has its own airport to import food and other necissities.

Edit:
Also you should add more architecture types like
Middle Eastern
Indian
East Asian
Mesoamerican

Just to name a few

Torrance is a moderately sized planned city with a current population of about 233,000.
Foreign tourists often compare the city's appearance and architecture to that of Tuscon, Arizona, though it is almost completely without any homes or other structures made before the 1990's.
Torrance replaced the provisional revolutionary capital of Laguna Madre in 1993. The city is protected by the nearby Loma Vista Air Force Base and Fort Radford in case of attack.

Exponds, while not nearly as large as the 6 million strong Greater Coldport Area, has a good 300,000 residents crammed into white-bricked apartments surrounded by the jungle on all sides. About 80% of the public buildings are used for the government, which also are drab and white. The roads are dreadful, internet almost non-existent, and infrastructure poor. However, there are beautiful parks within the city, and crime is almost non-existent.

The capital of Pokopoko, Ogobukopokuki, is the largest city in Pokopoko. There is no official government (instead, Pokopoko is ruled by the masses), so since Ogobukopokuki is the largest city, it effectively makes the most laws. It contains thousands of Pokopokans, in the middle of the Great Pokopokan Jungle Range. As such, the inner citizenry grows their own crops in their yards outside of their huts, shacks, and wattle & daubs. The outskirt citizens hunt in the jungles and gather food on their own, as it is "cheaper".

Brokdorf, the Capital of the Free Territory, is rather new in that role.

The Nation was firstly united under one ruling instance in the year 1455 when the City-State of Vorograd finally archieved dominion over the other city-states (notably the harbor-town of Berkopol and the mines of Degendorf). It did however exclude the "barbarians of the north". The Dynasty founded by Emperor Ivan I. of the Iremashvili-Dynasty, the former First Commdor of Vorograd, officially ruled over "The Enlightened Invincible Voronda Empire". His successors however finally succumbed to historical inevitability in 1979 and Diterikh XII., last of the Iremashvili-Emperors, was executed on what today is Victory Square in Brokdorf after ten years of bloody civil war and a lengthy trial in 1992. The Iremashvili-Dynasty, exstinct after a row of following executions, remains only alife in the nations' appreciation for military pomp and brass band music. Today November 1st 1455 is acknowledged as the beginning of modern Vorond.

Los Angeles, The United Interstellar States
A huge city of lights, the palace at it's center is Greco-Roman style architecture. the rest is futuristic. It is my country's center of art and culture. Almost all forms of art are practiced in my city. immense, towering skyscrapers, reaching 2 miles high. there are many parks, with practically every form of plant life in the country. there is a spaceport, and large stadiums. there is a monorail system that runs through the city. on it's outskirts, is a mountain with an observatory, and a academy of math and science. the city has state of the art hospitals, and a well organized airport. there is a beautiful turquoise ocean to the west of the city. the city is on the eastern side of Shili, the united interstellar state's capitol planet.

Libertopolis, the capital of New Birgland

Libertopolis is a massive, sprawling city situated on the eastern coast of North America. It has a population of around 500 million people, most of whom live in tall hi-rise apartments. Libertopolis is famous for its abundance of skyscrapers, 80% of which are a kilometer or more tall. Amidst this forest of skyscrapers lie many parks for the citizens to relax and play in. The largest such park is actually the National Mall, which contains the National Assembly, the Supreme Court, and the Treasury, among other government buildings.

Libertopolis's most famous landmark and tallest building is the 3K Tower, a mixed-use skyscraper notable for its height (3 km) and its abnormally large footprint. Other landmarks include the aforementioned National Mall, as well as the residences of the Head of State and Head of Government.

Being a coastal city, Libertopolis naturally has a gigantic seaport - the largest in the world. It was designed to support ships 5 times the size of the largest that existed at the time of building, allowing even today's giant container ships to dock safely and easily.

On the outskirts of the city lie many skyscraper farms, which provide much of, but not all of, the city's agricultural products. At the base of each farm is a supermarket where fresh fruits and vegetables are given out for free, while at the top, there are windmills and solar panels that generate power for the entire building.

It is also the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in the western Indian Ocean between Madagascar and the Maldives, having been first settled by Arab refugees fleeing from the depredations of the Mongols in 1259 or 1261). It is also the birthplace of the founding father of the nation, Henri-Alexandre Lazare la Merde (c. 1758-1859).

Dhinruhm is a rather old-fashioned city in the middle of the temperate rainforest, Cyl Eladin. The oldest parts of the city date back to around 1400 A.D., when our people finally adapted our building style to withstand the wet climate for long periods of time. As a result, even the oldest of buildings are still around, and in good condition. As a tribute to our pilgrim ancestors who settled the land in the first place, we have stuck to the very same building style to this day, and looks relatively uniform throughout. One of the most lovely and most picturesque parts of the cities is a spot called the two trees gate, where one can see into the south side of the city from the surrounding forest. Below, you can see a famous picture of the city looking in from the two tree gates, done by the famous Ryrneorrian painter, Navarre Ilyranna.
