Blue: Compassion
White: Purity (as in pure from corruption)
Golden (in the dove): Prosperity
Dove: Peace
Dove flying upward: Prosperity
Intricate design of dove: Elegance
Plainness of flag: Simplicity

ICly, our flag was adopted under the Anollasian Act of Peace in 1912 (which pretty much overhauled the nation's identity and policies) and created by an artist named Eugene Baker.

The blue is the sky and the white is clouds. The blue parts also make a = symbol, for equality. The star and hammer-and-sickle is because we are pro-Soviet.

Red border represents expansion of the nation and its values, and how the nation is wrapped in luck, prosperity, and joy.
Yellow circle around "Chen" (陳) represents the stability that the Dynasty offers.
The blue background represents the holiness and internal tranquility of the nation.
The two banners in the top corners are the national coat of arms (the one on the left is inverted). The dragons represent the authority of the emperor.
The cross in the bottom left represents the state religion: Tianguo Christianity

The flag was adopted in 1892, and was the first national flag of the nation. Before, a huge variety of banners and flags were used instead.

Three stripes of red and white represent the three main tenets of our nation: Honor, Peace, and Representation. Red is for the blood of those lost to fight for our nation, and white is for the progress we've made to advance our nation. The blue represents democracy, and the arrow shape shows our country moving forward. The three small stars represent the main groups of our nation: Americans (those of the former US), Canadians, and Mexicans; this is because these are the three former nations integrated into our nation. The large star shows these former nations coming together for the nation as a whole.

The black of the Nexumian flag represents the void of space that surrounds the Galactic Dominion. The yellow diamond and bars represent the divinity of the Dominion, while the red is both the spilled blood of the Nexumian people for a greater cause, and the spilled blood of our enemies.

The green represents our nation's love for it's main product, cannabis, and the freedom to use it. The bong represents, well, a bong, and the weed leaves represent the first five states of my region. It's also basically just a slightly edited version of Austral Island's flag.

My nation's flag is representative of the Empire of Osterhelm/Reger Ostern's history and continuous path to progress. The red is symbolic of the blood-ridden past and reminder of Osterhelm's victory over Communist ideals. The stylised black arrow pointing upwards in the white circle is a symbol of the ever-prevalent journey to power, and a sign of Kopfel Erwin Vielbrunn's unfailing word of commandment over the Ostern people.

The somewhat appropriately named the "Banner of the Blood" and "Flag of Unity" consists of three stripes of red, white, and red extending from the hoist side to the fly side. The hoist side is adorned with a navy blue triangle with a white star. The three stripes are representative of the three tribes of the unnamed kingdom, the three founding fathers, and the three parts of our national identity (equality, freedom, and faith). The red represents the bloodshed throughout our history, however the white stripe in the middle represents the peace and the unity that shine through always. The blue triangle with the white star are representative of faith and unity. It is meant to be the faith through which our unity shines through (fun fact: contrary to popular belief, the blue triangle rests on top of the star, as opposed to behind it, allowing it to shine through). In total the flag means that though we are seperate, through our god we unite and that through the bloodshed peace shines.

As of today, all Usniyan government buildings have hoisted the Usniyan People's Armed Forces Battle Flag for the duration of Z4. This flag was first used by the Usniyan People's Army during the First Usniyan Civil War, and were designed to be relatively easily made so that supporters of the people's faction could distribute them as propaganda tools.
