I was thinking of putting a shield around the rear sight to protect the shooter from the dust and shit the muzzle brake would throw back, but it would probably get in the way and the shooter can just wear goggles.

So any issues with anything?

While I can't remember the model, there was an M3 half-track variant that did almost exactly that, so there is a historical precedent.

Gave it a beefier bipod and added the indents/rails that the upper assembly rides on. I don't think I'm happy with the bipod though. Suggestions?

1. Why does it need replacing? It's a perfectly sensible rifle.
2. Any assault rifle used by any major military, preferably one chambered in 5.56 and using STANAG magazines.
