Actually would the rifle be more useful mounted on boats and vehicles? I feel like it would.

I guess.

I'm just thinking about the possibilty of it being even more awkward to hold in the confines of a vehicle.

You could probably bolt it to the back of a jeep or something, but you're probably better off with a dedicated towed AT gun at that point.

Well the advantage to having this on the back of a jeep is the jeep isn't restricted by whatever it's towing. You drive somewhere nice and fast, quickly shoot, then scoot.

Fair enough.

A jeep also comes with the advantage of being able to carry more of that fuckmassive 30mm ammunition than any given person.

Well the SAS jeeps needed guns in every direction because ultimate drive by. Ford Jeep will only need a big gun in one direction.

I was thinking of putting a shield around the rear sight to protect the shooter from the dust and shit the muzzle brake would throw back, but it would probably get in the way and the shooter can just wear goggles.

So any issues with anything?

But if you have double the guns in one direction you can have more effective follow-up fire.

Actually the gun will be mounted facing the rear. That way shoot and scoot is easier and faster.

While I can't remember the model, there was an M3 half-track variant that did almost exactly that, so there is a historical precedent.

Gave it a beefier bipod and added the indents/rails that the upper assembly rides on. I don't think I'm happy with the bipod though. Suggestions?

1. Why does it need replacing? It's a perfectly sensible rifle.
2. Any assault rifle used by any major military, preferably one chambered in 5.56 and using STANAG magazines.
