6.5x40mm, 500mm barrel, 850mm overall length.
Feeds either from 30-round box or 66-round drum magazines.
EDIT: MG 13 for page 13? It's more likely than you think!

You took a generic Destiny-esque pulse rife diagram and added a top rail and straight magazine to it.

Though my experience with the two stems purely from Red Orchestra 2 (it does strive for realism in most regards though, which is the only reason I'm bringing it up), I prefer the MG34 over the MG42 for that reason. I don't have to reload as often, the barrel doesn't heat up as quickly, and it's capable of semi-automatic fire.
@Nirvash: While suppression is a valid benefit of high fire rates, I feel like you're going to try to keep your head down whether it's 900 RPM or 1,200 RPM coming your way. I'd think that the former would also allow you to suppress an area for a longer period of time, and wouldn't need a barrel change quite as often (thereby reducing the odds of your MG nest getting charged). Of course this is pure speculation on my part, and obviously the MG42 did something right considering its reputation of terrifying Allied troops.

For want of heavy equipment the platoons FOs could direct no HMGs.
For want of HMGs, the Archians had to rely on shitty fucking microcalibers.
For want of real weapons, they lost the war.
