Speaking of pistol rounds what is everyone opinion on 7.62 Tokarev?
Purpelia does not reflect my actual world views. In fact, the vast majority of Purpelian cannon is meant to shock and thus deliberately insane. I just like playing with the idea of a country of madmen utterly convinced that everyone else are the barbarians. So play along or not but don't ever think it's for real.

When it comes to questions of opinion as opposed to hard facts I figure that over time opinions change, people gather new experience and in general the answer is in fact not set in stone. You might for example (and this is but one example) like the round a lot reading on Wikipedia but than get a chance to fire a gun that fires it and decide that its actually crap. A privilege I do not have on account of my local firearm laws not permitting such developments.

no mention of .224 boz best cartridge? come on its 10mm auto awesome with rifle calibres, truely the round of the futur!

Random thought, could you come up with a pistol discipline that would favour the sort of HV small calibre pistols? Maybe some sort of known range middle to long range shooting where the flatter trajectories would help?

IDT once we got high capacity, decent caliber hand guns there is any real reason to fuck around to find one. I mean, if you are doing longer range work bring a rifle. In any case Mossad and Israeli Air Marshals used to carry the Beretta 70 back when disco was in. Fast, light bullet. Their technique was to always fire 4 rounds. Always. Tak-tak-tak-tak, pause, if needed repeat. Change mag and if needed repeat. You can make fun of the 22LR but it did what it was supposed to. I think they did a lot of head shots though at really close ranges. All the stories I have read have them assaulting the terrorists with the 22s.

In fact, from a friends FB wall, here we see one Mordechai Rahamim (the one with hair) and the actual Beretta he used to kill several terrorists in several incidents including an attempted plane attack in Zurich.

Oh I wasn't thinking of anything actually usable but more a silly contrived sports discipline/competition that could be thought up of fans of 5.7x28mm etc etc that is specifically suited to thier favourite types of cartridge. The next stage after that would be what min/maxed wildcats appear to take maximum advantage of the rules of said discipline.

crook pls complement my royal guard thanks

Actually, seeing as that is the Royal Guard infantry armour, are there any changes I could do to it for the cavalry? The cavalry would be even higher up on the ladder than their infantry counterparts, if that helps with ideas.

A) Vambraces are pretty much never seen, anywhere, in the ancient world.
B) Pin the fucking cloak at the shoulder or do what legionaries did, anything but the ridiculous Superman cape.
C) What is seriously going on with the javelin and those darts? They look ridiculous to throw and it looks like you're trying to make them both skirmishers and heavy infantrymen.
D) He's not going to be able to tie his armor together if he doesn't have any thonging to do it.

May I use Cadillac Gage Commandos in infantry BCT's?

What's the niche of my Humvee counterparts once I replace them with Commandos in my infantry BCTs?

You've clearly never see the documentary 300

I'm honestly too lazy, the cloak isn't a priority

Skirmishers didn't use darts, legionaries did. I just give mine a heavy javelin too because fuck it, short range blamo, walking stick and half assed spear.

The string doesn't really need to be drawn
