Latin, Arabic, and Tagalog. Latin, formally, is refined. Arabic, when it rolls off your tongue, it's great. Tagalog is like a common Latin.

This is a plenty subjective thing.

But should my opinion be needed, I'll be frank: even after I've learned a lot of Japanese, I've never gotten tired of hearing it.

Latvian, obviously. No language sounds better than your native tongue, especially one as ancient and rich in expressions and contexts absent in other tongues.

That my words are true is attested simply by attempting to translate a Latvian folk song in English or any other language, the product being a crude butchery of the original, with much of it's true meaning and beauty gone. Even the term "folk song" itself is but a vague and crude approximation for "daina", which is a language-specific term for a particular form of Baltic oral tradition.

Lithuanian is also a beautiful language, closely related to Latvian and equally ancient.

Probably Spanish. Runner up is English with a British accent for me despite it not being a romance language.

I would say Japanese, Manchu and Korean are the three most beautiful languages respectively. ;)

I take it that nobody on this thread has heard Finnish, because really, it doesn't get much better than Finnish

The reason why some people don't use NS stats is NOT because they don't know how to run a country, rather, it is because NS issues tend to have silly or exaggerated consequences that cause some choices to come with unrealistic results. If someone's NS stats don't match up with the vision for they had for their country, it may not be their fault.

Personally, Russian, Putonghua/Mandarin, Mongolian, Turkic languages like Turkmen, and Korean (Northern Dialect), but also:

Tagalog is weird man. Some guy tried speaking it to me in Malaysia and I thought he was high on crack.

Lol, can't disagree though.

But then again, I do like languages that sound either weird or unpleasant, such as Mongolian and Turkic languages like Turkmen, Turkish and Kazakh.

Mongolian should be illegal to speak. It's an incest hybrid between Chinese and Russian. Seriously, jimmies have been rustled from hearing it.

Now, Malay tho. Shit's so fine you can call it a honey and marry the language.
