On this day, nearly 48 years ago, the brave crew of the Matraia 3 landed on Cordous Majora. The small, brave crew of three Aetherions: Katie Yaldi, Alda Kari, and Stenna Adigardl; The crew of the Matraia 3 reached the moon on the 12:45 PM on the 20th of September 1967. They were the first manned mission to ever reach a new celestial body and claim it. The Aetherions landed on the surface of Cordous Majora and as they took their first steps onto the alien surface Alda was recorded saying "This.... This is what we were born to do." These words have gone down in history as not only one of the most inspiring quotes but it has also become the Cinothian Space Program's official motto.

The Matria 3 was part of Vulge program, which was created specifically for manned missions into space. After the Matria 3 the Vulge program continued on until the Matria 7 was launched and further launches were put on hold. Currently a new program called the Nokir Initiative is being spearheaded by Cinoth and is aimed at not only revisiting Cordous Majora but carrying out further manned missions to other celestial bodies and into deeper space.

Thousands of people have converged upon the Ajito Aethrium Museum to take part in the festivities that have surrounded the facility. Old members of the Vulge Program have agreed to give a speech at the museum to commemorate the day along with the starting of the Nokir Initiative. The schedule for the events, speakers, and free commemorative lunch can be found on the Aethrium Muesum homepage. Any citizens with a passion for space are encouraged to attend.

MAIRLAND- Following fiery rhetoric from Pontifex David VI and First Minister Edward MacMurray on Monday, the Mairish Ministry of War announced today that ten battalions of the National and Holy Army are being put in a state of high active readiness in case their intervention is needed in the growing crisis in the Islamic nation of Al-Seena.

Following the policies of his predecessor, Alexander XIV, David VI announced yesterday that the government of Mairland would be offering official support to the Chaldean Civil Protection Battalion, a militant Christian organization that has formed amid the growing civil unrest and crisis in the Islamic nation of Al-Seena. According to an official government source, any Mairish intervention in Al-Seena would be for the purpose of "the establishment of a Catholic-aligned government in the nation to replace the current one". In addition to the army deployments, the National and Holy Navy is also reportedly being readied for action, and truckloads of aircraft-mounted missiles and guided bombs, some of them spotted with chemical markings, have been seen heading to the coast. The buildups are the first seen in Mairland since 2010, when they occurred as part of massive military exercises.

First Minister Edward MacMurray has repeated the rhetoric of the Pontifex, saying that "a strong hand is required to guide the nation of Al-Seena on the right path" and that the military would probably end up deploying into the country sometime in the future. Public support for the proposed war has been stifled, with an online poll conducted by Lochiel University on Monday showing that only 30% of the questioned population favored it.

Mairland joins the nation of Oyrana in preparing its military for the crisis. More are expected to follow.

The news from countries around the world exploded in the previous days following a Sunni terrorist uprising in Al-Seena's cities and provinces. The Sunni terrorists claimed the Senic federal government had subjected the nation to secularism, which goes against their radical ideals of the oppression of Shias. Quickly, the Western Imperialists responded with promises of military action and "humanitarian aid," a term often used by Imperialist governments to veil their interventionist plans.

Quick to react, the administration of President Saleem Bousaid, along with members of the party's highest officials, met in secret in the capital following news of unrest. After the meetings, Bousaid and Prime Minister Murad Karim made similar speeches in front of a closed People's Assembly gathering. Notably, Bousaid took a solid and unwavering approach the "coming Civil War," stating, "There is no question regarding this nation's stance on the situation in Al-Seena: we will take any actions necessary to prevent the oppression of Shias and political allies in Al-Seena starting now and until the end of time. As a representative of the people and their beliefs, it is my duty to use all resources within this government's power to create an atmosphere in this region of the world where Shias are not oppressed, as they have been for hundreds of years."

Karim took the stage after Bousaid's speech, restating most of what was said by the President but also pledging necessary military action, and the "acceptance of Shias and political allies from Al-Seena" who seek refuge in a stable country. Additionally, he issued a dictum regarding Shia and political freedom fighters in Al-Seena, "We will be watching your back, we will help and support you against the secularist and Sunni terrorists who make this area so awful for those who desire liberty. It would be a failure on the part of the Caraq Union and all its people to not support our allies in such a time of need."

In the aftermath of the meeting, numerous fake videos and pictures were posted online, depicting Caraqi military units traveling to the border in CSAR Ekbira. Additionally, unfounded rumours of opposition to the government's decision from those in CSAR Ekbira and CSAR Dakol, despite the fact that the government has the unfaltering support of the Caraqi populace, following recent polls.

As of now, the world has its eyes on Al-Seena, and the fate of Shias in the Middle East could very well depend on how the situation unfolds. The Caraq Union will not back down to any threat posed by the imperialists, Sunni terrorists or secularists, especially those posed from within Al-Seena. Under Saleem Bousaid's and Murad Karim's administration, the the nation has seen unprecedented growth, despite condemnation from Western imperialists. Now it is time for the world to see the true strength and ideals of the Caraq Union displayed in Al-Seena, beginning with the liberation of oppressed Shias.

Ar-Usam, Al-Seena - After a rapid wave of tensions grow in Al-Seena, the civil war has seemed to kick off with a bang. After weeks of growing tensions, Operation Goshawk was enacted by the Al-Seena national military. 70,000 soldiers have been deployed to combat Islamic forces - which the Suyuzic Union does not support due to the western puppet state they were deployed by. So far the bourgeoisie-serving army has struck 276 targets by the first day of the operation, although many speculate with wonder how the underfunded and the unsupported government will be able to sustain these attacks. Although, with our luck, many PDR-supported communist revolutionaries and martyrs are combating the pro-west dictatorship and the radical Islamists in the city of Tammuz.

Five days prior of Operation Goshawk, the Suyuzic Union declared their support publicly for the PASA (Pan-Arabic Socialist Army) and the FLAS (Front for Liberation of Arabs and Socialists). A PDR ambassador by the name of Tlemsen Zhelev had been sent to negotiate with the revolutionary parties. Negotiations were successful, and a pledge given was to support them with funding, training, arms, and to protect in the case of a revolutionary or civil war. Just as the pledge was declared public, the Suyuzic Armed Forces began to mobilize for the possible liberation of the people.

As of now, it is unknown the exact numbers of the mobilization. Although, as the world comes into focus of the ethnic oppression, violence, and dictatorship that lies under the western guise of progress and false bortherhood. The brave revolutionaries of Al-Seena will liberate the country under the shining banner of socialism. The PDR will not back down to the western imperialists and anti-proletarian enemies. Long live the workers republic of Al-Seena!

"Following hours of intense closed door discussions, borderline riotous debates on the floor of the Reichstag, and the personal intervention of the Kaiserin the Imperial Government has enacted a policy to begin sending aid abroad in larger amounts without the import cap. In the past a nation abroad could only receive up to a certain limit before they were essentially cut off from aid from the Imperial Dominate. This has been revised to remove the ceiling that a nation may request, though it would still be at the discretion of the Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sub-Ministry of International Aid and Development as to how much a nation would qualify for before the Imperial Dominate would need to suspend the aid program. This revision will now allow the Imperial Government to more freely pursue humanitarian efforts without having to hold some kind of ceiling above the receiving nation.

Following the passage of the revised law the Kaiserin had this to say about it:
"Today our nation takes one more step in helping those abroad that need it most. Today, we extend our hands out a bit farther and help those that cannot help themselves. Circumstances in the international community have become dire, and it is our duty, our responsibility as a nation of peace to assist where we can. As such, the Imperial Government today has passed a revision to the International Aid Act of 1962, in which there will no longer be aid ceilings for nations in need. Today is a day that Roselian people will open our hearts, our minds and our coffers to aid others."

The Government will begin the arduous process of implementation of the revision to the IAA of 1962. It is well known that due to the crisis in Al-Seena and the refugees moving abroad that a more substantial effort was needed in order to curb internal criticism that the Imperial Government was not doing enough to aid those in need. However while the Government has succeeded in revising the law, there is still no word as to whether the Imperial Dominate will be accepting refugees in the future or if it will simply maintain a program of International Aid without accepting refugees. Either way some of the public has voiced criticism of sending more aid abroad, one concerned citizen had this to say about it:

"It just isn't right. The government sends this aid abroad to 'help' others, well quite frankly if they can't help themselves then we shouldn't help them either!" The man who wished to not be name was found protesting the passage of the revision with many other like minded citizens outside the Reichstag in the capital city. So far the voices of opposition was strongest in the Government while the public opinion of sending aid abroad rests comfortably at 74% of those polled while 15% believe we should maintain current aid levels, another 7% came out against sending aid abroad and said we needed to reduce our current aid efforts, and the remaining 4% had no concerns either way.

Eliise Saruu of Partii Kommuniko announces snap elections for Wednesday 28th

BREAKING NEWS. At midday, after a session of the Õrbiit that was cut short for unknown reasons to the public at the time, Eliise Saruu, the leader of Partii Kommuniko and former Bloc Kommuniko (1998-2004) announced that snap elections for the Õrbiit will be held on Wednesday the 28th, at a surprisingly short notice. Saruu announced it via online video on her Narvaar account, the most popular social media site in Kaalmi.

With Partii Kommuniko's at a shocking 81% in opinion polls, a huge rise from the 26% in May 2013 when the government was elected, the party is predicted to win the elections with a huge majority. Under Saruu's rule since 2008, Partii Kommuniko first influenced the nations law when it forced the 2008-2013 Unity Bloc government, a huge coalition of parties that stood against Partii Kommuniko, the largest group in the legislature, by forcing them to nationalise the railways of Kaalmi.

Since then, Partii Kommuniko grew again in the 2013 elections, when the Õrbiit's political diversity was lost, and it was left with a single independent, Partii Kommuniko, Surouu Demoka and Centrii. Partii Kommuniko almost secured at majority of the required 76 seats, but won only 75, with the rest forming a coalition. Partii Kommuniko, however, had much more influence. In fear of snap elections being forced upon them by PK, the new government reluctantly backed down and carried out PK's wishes.

But the future of the nation rests on these snap elections: Partii Kommuniko has made it's intentions clear in every manifesto that if assumes power, it will hold a referendum on a new Constitution, establishing Kaalmi as a single-party state transitioning back to far-leftist ideals. As Kaalmi never fully transitioned into a "free" economy after the Democratic Revolution of 2004, which saw the Kaalmi People's Republic collapse and a new democratic government elected, just 6 years after Kaalmi ceded from the Suyuzic Union, and it seems the Kaalmi People's Republic has made a comeback.

Centrii party leader Arnold Huurumi has announced his defeat after Centrii disappeared from the polls on Sunday, being grouped in with Others/Independents. SD leader Eliisabet Hõrma, however, has not backed down, even going as far as stating, "PK will never see a new Kaalmi People's Republic. We democrats will never let that happen. Vote Suoruu Demoka,"

With the end of the Kaalmi Republic on the horizon; how will Kaalmi turn out? The never-ending question that has been asked for the past few years that no one can ever answer until it happens. Perhaps a referendum on a new KPR will be rejected? For now, we are in the dark from the government.

With the main elections for Premir and President coming in fast the two parties that have stayed in the race are to hold their primary elections the 1st of November this year. Things are heating up as several candidates are going for personal attacks in order to gain a lead; however they are back firing for most. The only candidates so far who haven't made Personal attacks are Senator Katrina Flinkiris Valentine, Liberal Socialist daughter of Conservative President Valentine, and Johnathon Peters of the Moderate Conservative Party. Ms Valentine had this to say

"The fact that many of my fellow candidates are going for personal attacks for the sake of votes is wrong. They should gain their votes based on people agreeing with them with more important factors such as the state of the Air Force, and the Panther Terrorist group in the norht. Not if the current Vice president is too old, or if some of the candidates have had saucy relations with other senators."

This has pulled in a two percent rise in Senator Valentines support rating making many thing that in the Primaries she might be able to pull of a win, however she is falling behind. Mostly due too her revealed former relations with Archduke Ray albeit she has yet too comment on the situation. It is obvious that she is focused on the election not her personal life.

Yet on the Moderate Conservative Party side, due to in fighting many feel that this will cause them to throw the election away, and the center of it all is Senator Tronald Drump. Especial after the outcry where he said that he would deport all Cinothians once he becomes Premir. This has caused a major hit especially by Cinothians born in Zerinfirom that of witch caused a four percent decrease in his ratings.

Despite all of the events leading up to the Primaries many feel that the elections still can't be called unlike last election. All we can truly do is wait, and see what the people have in mind for the future leaders of Zerinfriom.

Snap Elections Finishing Up!
As called by President Aliaksiejeva, the anticipated snap elections have started today. This comes amid the quickly deteriorating economy and calls for the Social Democratic Party to step down and call for new elections. The ruling Social Democratic party, who had 53% of the National Assembly's seat following the 2012 elections, has suffered heavily in the popularity polls with a drop to a percentage of 34. The Monarchist Party has grown in support to 36%, now threatening to end the long stretch of time the SDPB has been in power. The Christian Democratic Party and the Red Banner Party have slightly higher hopes this year, however they are still very much behind both the MPB and the SDPB in the popularity polls.

As the regional snap elections come to a close, the four main parties - as expected - have come out ontop in most regions, with the exception of the party 'Union of the Armenians' in the Armenian Autonomous Republic, which came out above the Red Banner party in the AAR's regional elections. The Monarchist Party has won a majority in the Bielarusian Federative Republic (BFR), the Polish Autonomous Republic (PAR), Ukrainian Autonomous Republic (UAR) and the Russian Autonomous Republic (RAR), while the SDPB maintains a majority presence in the Czechoslovak (ChSAR), Slovene (SloAR) and Serbian (SerbAR) Autonomous Republics. The Christian Democratic Party only has a majority in the Armenian Autonomous Republic (AAR).

Monarchist Party Victory!
The votes have been counted in Minsk, and as of today the Monarchist Party holds a majority of the Bielarusian National Assembly at 44% of the vote. The Monarchist Party, upon promising to keep most of the socialist economic policies that the Social Democratic Party (who got 34% of the vote) has passed over the years, has convinced the SDPB to form a government coalition. This coalition will cover over 78% of the National Assembly, effectively neutralizing any power of the Christian Democratic Party and the Red Banner Party (who will form the Opposition) has had in the National Assembly.

With the Monarchist Party victory, the Monarchy has been restored to Bielarus, following a similar Federalist system to that of the Republic. It has been decided that the succession of the Bielarusian throne shall fall to the first born child of the Royal Family, in this case Katarzyna Kanstancinaŭna Navicka (21). Her brother, Dzmitryj Kanstancinavič Navicki (18), will be attending a school outside of Bielarus for the time being. In addition, the country’s name has been altered to Fiederaĺnaja Karalieŭstva Bielaruś (Federal Kingdom of Bielarus), replacing the Fiederaĺnaja Respublika Bielaruś (Federal Republic of Bielarus).

The Monarchist Party has appealed for financial aid from the countries outside of the Eastern Bloc, fearing that the communists may retract their financial funding of the economy. Finally, the ‘Ŭzbrojenyja Sily Fiederaĺnaj Respubliki Bielaruś’ (Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Bielarus) has been renamed to the ‘Karalieŭskija Ŭzbrojenyja Sily Fiederaĺnaj Karalieŭstva Bielaruś’ (Royal Armed Forces of the Federal Kingdom of Bielarus). The ceremonial Hvardyja Respubliki (Guard of the Republic) has been given a more official bodyguard role, and has been renamed to the ‘Karalieŭskaja Bielaruskaja Hvardyja’ (The Royal Bielarusian Guard).

Violent Communist Riots in Viciebsk!
Communists outraged at the outcome of the elections have emerged en-masse on the streets of the major Bielarusian city of Viciebsk. Rioters have thrown stones and molotovs at Police forces, provoking the Police to disperse the rioters by force. The riots have swelled in Viciebsk city center, where flags of the shortlived Bielarusian Soviet Republic (April 15th 1956 – June 12th 1956) have been replacing the White-Red-White flag of the FR Bielarus and now the FK Bielarus.

Bielarusian officials were quick to point the blame of the initiation of the riots on the Suyuzic Union’s ‘propaganda machine’, which led communists to believe they would be oppressed under the new government. The new Queen, Katarzyna I, was asked to speak on her plans for the communists upon her accession to the throne, to which she gave the reply ‘Their voice is too small to make a difference in Bielarus, I will pay no mind to them until they do something too stupid to ignore’. And indeed the communists have now gotten the attention of the young queen, but under quite bad context. The Queen has ordered for a city wide curfew in Viciebsk until the riots subside. Around 20,000 communists are taking part in the protests and riots in Viciebsk, and police have been working to disband the organized riots before the violence spreads.

LAST OPINION POLL RELEASED: PARTII KOMMUNIKO GROWS SLIGHTLY, CENTRII DISAPPEARS, SUORUU DEMOKA DROPS TO #3 PLACE AFTER NORHAA REAPPEARS AT #2

Yesterday the very last opinion poll before snap elections on Wednesday was released, with some unsurprising and some surprising results. After vigorous campaigning alongside Partii Kommuniko, Norhaa has reappeared at #2 in the opinion polls, at a shocking 11%.

The exact results were:

Partii Kommuniko: 83%. In comparison, the last poll before 2013 elections showed PK leading at 56%.
Norhaa: 11%. In comparison, the last poll before 2008 elections had Norhaa behind PK with 21%. Norhaa had slipped into Others/Independents for the 2013 elections. It's last polling result, on the 8th of June had it at 4%.
Suoruu Demoka: 4%. In comparison, the last poll before 2013 elections showed SD in 2nd place, behind PK at 24%
Others/Indepedents: 2%

Norhaa, a avid supporter of the Suyuzic Union, is a mix of communists and socialists in a single party that was created in 2006 by former members of Partii Kommuniko and Suoruu Demoka, as Norhaa supports forming a union with the Suyuzic Union and even supporting Kaalmi re-entering the SU, whilst Partii Kommuniko and Suoruu Demoka maintains a very close relationship is vital for survival, both object to the dissolution of the Republic and entering the Suyuzic Union.

However Partii Kommuniko has become increasingly pro-SU and has formed a political alliance with Norhaa, however the two do have different views on certain issues; but it seems Norhaa will become the new SD whilst PK will remain itself.

Norhaa ranked #2 in the Õrbiit during the 2008-2013 government, however Partii Demoka did not successfully get a full majority, but PK refused to form a coalition with Norhaa, and so Norhaa formed a large coalition government, a government that quickly dropped in popularity when the 2011 crash, the third since the implementation of democracy in 2004, but Suoruu Demoka and Centrii pulled through.

Another surprising change is Centrii's disappearance - Analysts expected it to remain on polls, and to be more popular then SD, but it's lack of any campaigning and only about 56/151 voting districts confirmed to have a Centrii candidate, compared to the 151/151 of Norhaa, PK and SD, all play a part in it's rapid collapse in support as PK and Norhaa rise.

Surouu Demoka has fallen further, but it remains fighting. It claims democracy is the only way for Kaalmi to survive - A ideal we here at Kaalmi Lidii deny - and promises mass reforms if it were to seize power again, but this remains highly unlikely. It does promise to also strengthen ties with the Suyuzic Union, a move all parties promise to do, but it seems unlikely for SD even to secure a single seat. But leader Eliisabet Hõrma keeps claiming SD is the correct way for Kaalmi, dissing and insulting other politicians - Which also brings analysts to believe rifts are opening in SD as Hõrma is even making remarks about SD's own politicians.

And lastly, the first opinion poll for a highly likely referendum on a new constitution if PK seizes power, which would re-establish the Worker's Republic, has had a unsurprising result of 85% "Yes", 10% "No" and 5% "Undecided".

With elections tomorrow, the future of Kaalmi truly rests on this election. Will the Worker's Republic be re-established, or will a proposed referendum be rejected or even happen?

PARTII KOMMUNIKO WINS OVERWHELMING MAJORITY IN THE ÕRBIIT WITH 141 SEATS, NORHAA WINS 10 SEATS

Eliise Saruu, Partii Kommuniko Leader, celebrates as she is now the Leader of the Kaalmi Republic, a title which other nations instead call Prime Minister

IT IS OFFICIAL. Partii Kommuniko has won 141 out of 151 seats in the Õrbiit; top ally Norhaa has won the remaining 10 seats. The last voting district to declare it's winner was Harvu-Õsii, in English õsii means east, who gave it's seat to Partii Kommuniko. This is the start of a new era for Kaalmi - And the end for the Republic. Eliise Saruu has already taken to social media to notify that the first thing her government will do is to organise a referendum for a new constitution that that the party had made themselves since their foundation in 2004, almost identical to the constitution of the Kaalmi Worker's Republic (1901-1950, 1998-2004) with some modifications, the proposed constitution if available online. In fact, on a poll Sunday last, around 85% of those asked said they would support such a constitution, which was published two weeks ago. Saruu has not mentioned any date for the referendum, but has indicated it may take place before the end of the year.

Eliisabet Hõrma, former Leader of the Kaalmi Republic, was ranked last in her voting district, Eeksii, only gaining 210 out of the 5,678 votes in the district. Riivaas, the first party established after the democratic revolution in 2004, had a candidate placing higher then her in Eeksii, surprisingly. In 2013, all of Riivaas' candidates in the 17 districts it ran in had less then 5 votes. Hõrma has taken to social media to announcing she is leaving the nation to an unknown nation. Hõrma was spotted driving through the northern border town of Ãkvana, just a kilometer from the Suyuzic border, but it is highly unlikely she would pass in the Suyuzic Union, a nation she is strongly opposed to, and it is much more likely she was heading to Ãkvana Airport.

Norhaa leader Yulia Pääsuke, who Saruu has appointed Deputy Leader, has taken to her website to write a short but excited message about what she hopes will happen under the Partii Kommuniko's rule, with Norhaa influence,:

(Translated) It is official now: Us and Partii Kommuniko have seized power with 151 seats, and I am now the Deputy Leader of the Kaalmi Republic. I remember the days when I was Leader, before Suoruu Demoka brought us down with a pack of lies, but we are back and finally our dreams of having a even closer relationship with the United Proletarian Republics is becoming even closer to happening. The official cabinet of Saruu's government will be finalised by Friday, but she has already selected some ministers, and one is a Norhaa politician, Sara Õbik, who has been selected as Minister of Foreign Affairs. Kaalmi is changing for the better now.

The very first session of the 4th Õrbiit is scheduled for tomorrow, where PK will propose the new constitution referendum, and will probably pass 151/151, and they will certainly also decide on a date. Yes, it is time for change. The Kaalmi Republic was a disaster - The rocky 6 years after ceding from the UPR in 1998 led many to oppose the government, and took inspiration from the democratic countries in the world and from the old Kaalmi Republic, but the proposed new state takes inspiration from the old Kaalmi Worker's Republic, which lasted from 1901 to 1950, which voluntarily joined the UPR.

ALTÖRK NUCLEAR PROGRAM SUCCESSFULLY TESTS NUCLEAR WEAPON

Just a few hours ago, the National Altörk Aeronautics Department successfully launched a nuclear missile in the relatively uninhabited Kawcim Province in the Ekbira Region. News of the test's success broke only six minutes after the blast on Channel 1, preserving the moment for future generations to watch, Inshallah. The lead scientist, Karim Bayaltar, was asked by one of the reporters for Altörk National News to make a statement regarding the momentous success for the Islamic Republic. "Today, we have made history", he said proudly to the cameras. "After almost a decade, our team finally succeeded in building and testing a nuclear weapon. With this power, we will be able to defend the Islamic Republic from all her enemies and eliminate all those who oppose us."

The government program has been working on this project since 2006, only two years after the end of the Civil War. This success serves to show us the power of the Islamic system and the resilience and determination of the Altörk peoples. While our neighbours may condemn us for our glorious success, we know that this is only necessary in the tumultuous times in which we live. Three coups have already been attempted by the Great Satanic Empire, and more are sure to come. Infidels surround us, waiting to pounce in our weakest moments as they did during the Imperial Catastrophy and the end of the Golden Era. They shall never be able to defeat the Altörk peoples, for we are stronger than them, and they do not have the power of Allah on their side. And if they should try to topple the glorious Islamic Republic, they should know that we will retaliate with full force and unleash our full nuclear capabilities on their peoples. While we have only tested one, our arsenal has over 5000 missiles ready to be fired at any moment.

As our military grows ever stronger and ever larger, we must always remember that it is our culture that we are protecting. It is known to be the oldest surviving culture in existence, and should it be ended the end-times will begin. The growing arsenal of nuclear weapons around the world could be interpreted as the beginning of the end itself, but we know better. This arsenal is to protect Altörk culture, the Altörk state, and Altörk interests around the world. And should any of these be violated by an infidel, we will destroy them however large they may be. Glory to the Republic, Glory to the Altörks, Allahu Akbar!

Senic Military Increases Its Preparedness As The Islamic Republic Announces Its First Successful Nuclear Test

The Sênic government has responded to evidence of the Islamic Republic of Altörke. The Minister of Defense, Foeld General of the Sênic Armed Forces, the Prime Minister, and the President were reported as meeting in an undisclosed meeting just moments after the news broke and were speculated to be talking about how to handle the issue. Just hours ago President Anwar Zaman Al-Shishani announced that the Federal Armed Forces with increase its presence along the Boarder with the Islamic Republic as well as increase patrol flights along Al-Seena's air space bordering Altörke.

In his speech the President also called for the populace to remain calm as all possibilities were being examed so that Al-Seena may defend itself from possible aggression on the part of the Islamic Republic. The Altörk State Media has claimed their arsenal to be as large as 5,000 missiles but most reports claim this to be false. The 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion and 3rd Infantry Battalion ha e been moved to with 50 miles of the boarder with the Islamic Republic while boarder security has tightened. The 8th Airwing has also been moved to Qurdesh Air Force Base to act as a quick response force.

This is the first active deployment of troops since the end of the civil war five years ago and the first serious use of force by the current administration. The troops deployed at this moment are however only on defensive alert and are not permitted to go on the offensive at this moment. We also have reports the that Special Forces Brigade have been stationed in the area between the main defensive line and the actual border and are reported to be helping the local police and paramilitaries in defending the area of the Islamic Republic were to go on the offensive.

While the nations military is on high alert many in the opposition have criticized this move claiming that it will only rise tensions between the two nations. Husain Al-Zouni member of the Union for Reform of Development said in an interview "While the threats posed by the Altörk Islamic Republic are in no way serious. This is simple saber rattling on their part, we are giving them what they want by reacting in such a manner." While there is some opposition to the efforts by the military little credible legislative opposition has been formed. We will see how the situation on the boarder Pans out in the long run and how these events will effect both nations.

ALTÖRK MILITARY MOBILISES ON AL-SEENA BORDER FOLLOWING ENEMY MOBILISATION

Following a belligerent act of violence against the Glorious Islamic Republic, the Altörk military is mobilising on the al-Seena border. The Regime to the East has been acting in an undignified and brash manner in regard to the Holy Altörk Peoples since the end of the Civil War, generating much dismay among the Altörk population. In response to their recent mobilisation along our Sacred Border, the Altörk Army, Navy, and Air Force have been mobilised in order to combat the impending threat. "These disgusting degenerates have been encroaching upon our territory for years, without permission", said President Emir Şaftan said in regard to the mobilisation. "Let them know that if they choose to attack us, they will be decimated and their entire infidel population will undergo genocide through nuclear fire-power. The Nuclear Victory has made them afraid and jealous of us, and they are trying to steal our power. They cannot, for on our side we have God and they have nothing."

The Glorious Altörks will exterminate all its enemies, from north to south, east to west, in and out. We will overcome the hardships brought upon by the Great Satanic Empire and exterminate the Batgar infidels. All of al-Seena will be reincorporated and repopulated with true Turkic populations. The Caraq Union will be forced to return all its territory to their rightful Altörk lordship and gradually be torn from their infidel sectarian belief. Prime Minister Waqqas Sacked By President Al-Shishani, Parliament To Vote On A Successor This Week

After three years in power Prime Minister Fatima Waqqas has just been sacked. In an address to parliament President Al-Shishani told Members of Parliament that he had used his authority to end Waqqas term. He did not give a reason other then he did so to insure the integrity of the governing coalition. He then announced current Minister of Defense Faysal Al-Khazraj to be his nomination for the position which will be voted upon by Parliament in the upcoming week. Opposition leader Muhammed Ar-Awsa will take over the position as acting Prime Minister until an election designates a new Prime Minister. Mrs. Waqqas has not disclosed what she plans on doing after her termination.

The former Prime Minister was elected after the constitutional council was abolished after it successfully drafted a constitution. She was a leading member of the National Salvation Front which is the second biggest party in the governing coalition. Her election came after a deal between the largest party (Unity and Solitary Party) in order to form a successful coalition. Her term saw the rebuilding of Al-Seena after the civil war. She's been a prominent supporter of maintaining peace in the region especially in regards to the Atltörk Islamic Republic. Many have said it is her support for peace that caused the President who has been increasing militarization along the boarder in fears of a Altörke aggression. She was also know to have strong disagreement with the president on several ideological points.

Minister Designate Faysal Al-Khazraj was a leading member of the Secular Opposition during the Civil War and worked with the president during the campaign against Islamist forces. He was named minister of defense at the same time Mrs. Waqqas was named Prime Minister after the drafting of the constitution by which time he had already been lead commander of the Federal Armed Forces and had reformed them into a professional standing military. He is a leading member of the Alliance for a Better Future a junior coalition member in government.

This move comes after the Islamic Republic has threatened "Genocide through nuclear fire-power" which has prompted the Sênic military to tighten its control of the boarder region with a state of emergency issued for over 150 communities within 30 miles of the boarder and the Sênic Anti-Missile Deffense System on high alert. This move came just hours after the threats were issued by the Islamic States state fun media agency.

Currently 55,000 soldiers are stationed on the boarder as threats continue to mount and rhetoric is racking up in this stand off. President Anwar Zaman Al-Shishani has also said he has initiated talks with other nations to help deal with the situation calling it a "World threatening situation" following with "pathological radicals should not be allowed to kind of deadly power." With the situation at hand many are holding their breath to see how things play out in the coming days.
