Thousands of Azens have flocked to the FAP in search of a new home. Many are simply stopped at the border and taken to somewhere more fitting, but a few of the most persistent make it in. These are the upper middle class of Azens, ones with enough money to afford the distant journey to the exotic FAP. They have been allowed in, and a small community has formed itself in Singapore, the easternmost city of the FAP. Commonly referred to as "Little Azen", this community is the most diverse population within the FAP, which itself consists entirely of Japanese, Chinese, and Maylay.

Military Budget To Expand

The recent conflicts in the Middle East and other parts of the globe have given credence to demands to increase Defense spending. The budget of the armed forces is expected to grow by nearly 50%, opening room for the purchase of more warships for the Navy and more aircraft for the Air Force. A recent poll shows 72% of the population supports the expanding military, while only 11% oppose it. The Military has already begun to draft new equipment acquisition budgets to purchase new hardware. Proposed purchases include two San Antonio class Amphibious Transport Docks, which naval experts say will greatly improve the FAPs capabilities to maintain military operations overseas.

Scientists have announced breakthroughs in the location of neurological controls in DNA. The researchers at the International Genetic Research Laboratory have been using bird genes to better understand how nerve cells know which other nerve cells to connect to in order to form a functioning nervous system. Now that they have made breakthroughs in this field, Biologists and Genetic engineers believe they will be able to apply their research to human health. They say this could include cures to genetic diseases like ALS, as well as help cure paralysis. Several animal rights and genetic purity groups have protested, saying that animal and possible future human experimentation is immoral. They say that tampering with genes can only bring harm.

Prime Minister Decries Revolutionaries in WPT, North Arkanan Aggression

The civil war in the Western Pacific Territories has spiraled out of control, and the Loyalists there are beginning to lose ground in some areas. The Prime Minister, in a speech near the Fleet Activities Yokosuka shipyard, officially announced support of the Loyalists, and has sent a small expeditionary force to monitor the situation. In the same speech, the Prime Minister denounced the aggressive and predatory real estate purchases of AGOTT, the Arkanan trading firm in the former Azenyanistan. The purchases were seen as imperialistic, and caused great uproar among Azens worldwide. The Foreign Ministry advises that the Prime Minister's remarks do not necessarily reflect the views of the FAP as a whole, and apologize for any diplomatic misunderstandings that may abide.

The ALTAME Exercises, hosted by the Esgonian Federation, is now underway, thousands of onlookers watch as the joint forces of Esgonian, Rattean, Portean, Urranese, Glaciatic, and FDR forces show off their military prowess and cooperation with the other nations. This exercise is held at the Altaz Region of Western Esgonia for three days.

MECHA COMES TO LIFE AS BATTLEWALKER BEING TESTED IN AZENYANISTAN

In an effort to keep up with the other nation's military might, the first prototype for the T-204 Tactical Nuclear Strike System, a bipedal tank armed with Anti-Tank missiles, a Railgun, Rotary cannons, and ICBM-Launching capabilities, has been completed with the cooperation of Grunder Industries and AEGIS Technologies. The first prototype will be deployed to the SARAz to test it's ability in desert conditions, with their ICBM capabilities removed as to not arise tensions with the other nations in Azenyanistan.

RARE EARTH ELEMENTS FOUND IN ESGONIAN-CONTROLLED TERRITORY IN THE WPT ISLANDS

A recent survey conducted by a team of geologists have discovered a rare-earth deposit at a base of a hill in the recently purchased territory in WPT Islands where Azens have continued to thrive in. The USEAn government as of now is discussing on what to do with the discovered treasure they have.

The Azens in the islands and their leader, Oasis, began to work with the WPT contractors as well, taking up most of the population that was working on the islands. The Azens were creating roads as well as stores and homes, kids were helping out by giving out candies or chocolate or other foods or water or even Pepsi. There were also a few Azens who were treating the sick and the injured and the old, making a 7 floor building for them to live in. 700 more Azens from the occupied areas came to work with their countrymen.

Teams of Azens working for Esgonia have spotted a hidden rebel base in northern Afghanistan. They have estimated that there could be 3000 fighters there and more than 4000 civilians there, all Azen.  A dazzling show of military might occured in Blomstra today as the women soldiers of the Azenyanistani Legion marched through the streets with full colors. The parade was attended by thousands while the Kaiserin gave a speech demanding the return of Azenyanistani lands. In other news, top military officials have revealed they have no plans to remove the 600,000 soldiers stationed in the 'Fuck the NPE' Defensive Line in Azenyanistan.

The nearly 3,000 troops here on the 1st Expiditionary fleet are getting excited for the prospect of combat. These women make up the first battalions of the Azen Foreign Legion, the brand new set of divisions that have been added to the military roster. They are currently offshore the Western Pacific Territories, where a civil war has been burning for some time. Military experts are somewhat concerned that the Loyalists, who are friendly to our government, may begin to lose ground if the rebels make pushes. However, Loyalist commanders assure FAP officials that they have the situation under control. Regardless, these Azen divisions will remain on station for the next few months in case the situation gets out of hand. This is the first combat deployment for the Azens, who have near universal support from the brand-new Azen community.

Just in, a high-ranking official of SARAZ in the WPT has stated that he supports the FDR's actions, and has submitted a proposal to create his own version of the controversial FDR line of defense. It would span the current SARA border, and ensure the safety of the enterence of SARA. While there are plenty of defenses already, they could still be defeated. More info will come in later.

In accordance with the wishes of the UoAE and the Azen Leaders, the Azen Union agrees to become a part of the UoAE and will be allowing the UoAE to consider the Azens as their own people.

Azens all over the world and more so in Former Azenyanistan and in the other parts of the region where the Azens dominate the population celebrate these events and are saying "Finally, peace, peace, peace!!! This is so good! Azenyanistan!"

The Azen Union has also announced that the Azens will be splitting into 3 states but will be united by the UoAE and by the Azen Union.

The United States of The Azens would want the islands given by the WPT to them, The United States of Sadisian Azens would want Turkey, Syria, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan and finally, the United States of Afghanistan and Azenyanistan and Central Asia would want the SARAz and New Azenyanistan.

After several more months of fighting, the USEAN Forces have destroyed the last hideouts of the New Islamic State in Northern Azenyanistan.. Over the course of the conflict, 24 USEAN soldiers, 45 civilians, and 20 local Azen forces have been killed, with over a total of 450 wounded while the NIS had lost over 1,250 of it's fighters, including its leader, Abu Khaled al-Asad. Reconstruction of Northern Afghanistan is now underway, security forces have begun to secure vital structures of civilian, military, and economical importance and civilians have begun to return to their towns and villages.

Meanwhile, the USEAN forces have allowed the local Azen fighters to attack a rebel hideout reported to house over several thousand fighters and civilians inside. Giving them 4 Squadrons of old Mi-24D attack helicopters from the Esgonian Ground Forces and aerial support from surveillance drones.

The Azens of Esgonia, under the personal command and leadership of Banshee, dispatched a 7000 strong force of combined infantry and tanks. The Azens accepted the gifts of the Esgonians but they won't be using it. The local Azen and Afghan fighters supporting Esgonia and the Azens joined with the main force and contributed over 700 fighters with technicals to the 7000. Once the 7000 and the 700 reached the rebel base, the Azens stopped a dozen miles away and went on foot, leaving behind 2000 to take care of their vehicles and heavy weaponry! The Azens, led by Banshee herself, and the Afghan fighters, led also by Banshee, were aiming to negotiate with their countrymen as their own informants have said that the rebels need water, food, medicine, body bags and clothes.
