Devontan foreign policy is semi-interventionist, though we always use diplomacy first, even during a war. We embrace free trade, scientific, and military cooperation with other nations. We do not discriminate based on the countries political spectrum, unless it causes them to mistreat their people or attack other nations. We have very socialist allies and very conservative allies to prove this.

It centers around a tight web of many allies who mainly are in the NATO like alliance called the IFC, though many are in the PCP or Santiago pact, we also have individual nations who are our allies. This creates a tight web around us that keeps us safe from attack. We engage in conflicts across the world, on a small scale using superior airpower and limited ground forces, with the help of many allies, large scale deployments are unneeded. We've been in at least twelve low to medium intensity conflicts (mostly civil wars on the side off our allies government) in just 2014 across the globe, won all of them with coalitions made up from allied nations. The most troops we had to deploy on the ground was 4,000-5,000 due to other allied nations cheeping in and my nations superior air power and navy combined with theirs. We can project power anywhere we want because we keep military bases on our roughly twenty six territories across the globe, these territories include our five commonwealths. Some military bases are kept in other nations.

Domestic policy in our nation is liberal to a point. Health care is provided by the government with input from the citizens being provided it and the employers, education standards are set by the the government and the states have to model their education after these high standards. Community and four-year college is free for those who have the grades and have not committed a major crime.

Gay marriage was legalized very recently in 2012 do to our constitutions heavy focus on equality. Marijuana is also legal and always has been. Immigration and tourism is encouraged and our laws are very laxed regarding this, it is relatively easy to apply for refugee status, even after the laws were tightened a bit do to convist terrorist threats. Religion is big, though it stays out of politics along with corporations because of our laws and constitution.
