In Li Qing, RL (real life) car brands from foreign countries are most common, particularly Japanese ones as well as cars imported from Muralos (one of the regional economic superpowers). German ones are popular among the elite too. As Li Qing is a very environmentally friendly nation though, public transport is just as favored as private cars; diesels, EVs + hybrids can also be seen on the nation's streets, as batteries + charging infrastructure are extremely well-developed in the country. The Honda Accord Hybrid is the most popular low-end option, the Mercedes B-class is common in upper middle-class households, and celebrities are seen driving Tesla Model S cars.
Li Qing has one main national car brand, which was a branch of the former Chinese state-owned company "Hongqi" (literally "red flag.") This brand is simply called "Guochan" (nationally made). It's not a stupid name though- after all, the name of the RL car brand Nissan is similar; it literally means "Japanese made." A modified Guochan sedan (in fact, an electric vehicle) is used for the President's appearances in other countries.
