The Dodo bird, due to it's placid-and sometimes stupid-nature. Thousands of Blob-Land-ians say that owning a Dodo bird, is like owning a sloth. They don't do much, and they eat a lot. Of course they move a ton, wandering and clucking with the neighbors Dodo, but they don't fight. The maximum amount of Dodos in one household is 5, due to the incessent pooping, and occaisional scraps of violence or abandoning, which leaves a single Dodo insecure or unhappy. A simple hug or story calms and cheers up a Dodo, and they are very loyal. A major problem is wild Dodos entering households, and pooing all over carpets and tile. Dodo's can lay up to 5, golf ball sized eggs, but don't guard them very well. When a hen lays a batch of eggs, leave her be for a week or so. Once the eggs hatch within 15 days, the mother will need to eat twice as often. The normal Dodo diet is a mixture of Banana leaves, coconut shells, ground up insects and worms, and the occaisonal potato. This combination of foods, comes pre-packaged in 30 lb bags, that can be purchased at a cheap price of $25 at Blob-Mart. Every 2 years, a massive migration of Dodo's swarms the nation. All roads are closed, and citezins must stay at least 10 feet away from every Dodo. They move to the eastern side of Blob-Land, to breed. Once the eggs hatch, they wait a week for them to mature, and they move back. A great job for the jobless that year, is Poo-Scrubber. Paid an wonderful, $10 an hour, hundreds of people spend days upon days, cleaning streets. Once the Dodo's return to either side, the nation celebrates, gathering 20 tons of crops and food, and put them into a field. Thousands flock to a massive parade and party, as they watch the pile of food go down while the swarm of Dodo's makes it's way to either side. Sadly, every migration, at least 300 Dodo's are killed by cars, weather, or rednecks. Luckily, when Dodo's migrate, they keep an eye out for each other.

In fact, the word "Ohn" translates roughly as "Brother", "Sister", or "Cousin", and there are some rather controversial (even among the Ohn) myths concerning a mutual heritage between the two.

The Goldilocks (Latin name = Yahoo aureatus ) is a species of sub-sapient Primate that is endemic to the 'Mainland' section of Bears Armed. It basically resembles a smaller Human, but is far less intelligent than the average member of the latter species. This was declared as the 'national animal' several centuries ago, and the reasoning involved has since been forgotten. Some people keep them as pets, although they aren't exactly reliable, but others hunts them as food. It is thought fairly probable that they are actually descended from some of the area's former Human population, which was otherwise exterminated during the Wizards' War in the first century AD (a few eightcubeds of years before the first Ursines 'awakened' to sapience...), and that their ancestors were transformed into this type of being instead as a side-effect of that conflict.

my natio0nal animal is the liplourodont it is a prehistoric mososour that can eat sharks that were 60 feet long it was the apex predator of the jurrassic era and even ate dinosurs that got too close to the water. It had a jaw of 15 feet long and could crush at 700lbs per square inch. This beast could eat anything!

The HURD's national animal is the bug. Because we have them in our programs and label them undocumented features and try to remove them. Programming is an important activity for HURDists.

The Rabid Jackalope (Antlarius, rabbitum) is a distant relative of the jackrabbit, which somewhere along picked up genes from antelope. They are usually a chesnut brown can go at speeds up to 100 mph. Females usually have small antlers, no more than 6 points. Larger males can have antlers 20 ft. long and up to 50 points.

While the Rabid Jackalope is most commonly found in the desert, it has been seen in places as desolate as the Arctic. It is not particularly intelligent and mostly survives on its innate ability to completely destroy anything in its path (however, lately some studies have shown that tame Jackalopes are able to succesfully read and write. Data is still inconclusive due to the eating of all proctors at the site). The most common species, the A-1, is completely addicted to steak and will go hundreds of miles out of its way to find a cow farm. Because of this, farmers are forced to place Jackalope traps all over the place; these consist of great 13-point bucks, often with a clown face depicted (to make them scarier). This is the Jackalopes mortal enemy and they immediately will attack them, causing enough noise to alert the farmers, who then pull out their Jackalope gun (which is 10 times bigger and more powerful than an elephant gun) and attempt to shoot the Jackalope before it eats them.
They are mostly loners, but those in the most desolate places often travel in packs, so as to resort to cannabalism if no food can be found. The most noticeable fact about the Jackalope (apart from its large antlers) is its ability to gain 'rabidity' in 10 seconds (though the record is 3.6 seconds). This not only gives them super strength, but super speed and super intelligence, boosting their estimated IQ from 0, to 1000% higher (0). Their teeth also elongate and if uncontrolled, can grow up into their skulls, killing them instantly; around 3% of Jackalopes die this way.

The early settlers depended on penguins for survival, they were hunted for blubber, meat and the warm coat. By following and observing penguins, settlers were able to discover the best fishing stocks. Emperor Penguins are compassionate and friendly social animals that can survive on the most inhospitable places on earth, Laszlona honors these grand animals and displays them proudly on her flag.

The Panzersaur (Tank Lizard in German), an ankylosaur native to Deatchland. An average adult is about the size of a Panzer IV, once the standard tank of the Deatch Heer (Thus the name 'Panzersaur'), making it a huge beast indeed. Because it is the size of a Panzer, and because it was endemic to Deatchland, it was decided to make it not just the national fossil, but also the national animal.
