Ours is the Betta, because it is beautiful and a solitary, vicious fighter. Next in line was the Tiger, for pretty much the same reasons. I can't really remember why Bettas won out, probably the fact that I have one.
Wait an hour, and it will be now again

Turtles.
They are quite common in Sel Appa. Also, there is a legend a giant turtle that has lived in the forests of Sel Appa for centuries.

My nation is not like my nation page at all, it contradicts itself, we don't EVER eat kangaroos, that's just very sad. Also vegetarianism is compulsory yet it still says it's the nation's favourite main course and all and stuff.

Lhena's National Animal: The Owl
(Strigiformes Strigidae)

The Owl is a symbol to prestige and power, wisdom and patience. It also represents the willingness to be open-minded and to listen.

Lhena's environment consists of many forests and hillsides and misty landscapes, shadowed by high snowy mountains. Many types of rodents and birds are very common in the region and the Owl is considered to be the most loved bird and pet because it hunts for rodents and other small birds; therefor it is used for rodent control and traditional farmers use Owls to secure their fields and protect their crops from other small birds like swallows etc. Owls are easy to domesticate and in ancient times people used them to hunt and bring around messages.

Several shrines in Lhena are not only dedicated to the teachings of Lord Buddha, but also to house Owls - especially little Owls. In many monestaries Buddhist monks domesticated Owls to bring around messages throughout the region. Harsh winters were another reason why Owls were given refugee in shrines and monestaries. Thus, in Lhenaese culture Owls are considered to be bringers of good news and prosperity.

The domestic cat is a proud intelligent species whom we could all learn something about life from.
The domestic cat is revered almost like it was in ancient egypt in our country, without the bloody sacrifices.

The Disco Dice.
Ramzeus bogeius dohnus

A voracious breeder, the Disco Dice is native to Ramsetia. DNA profiling, however, finds that it has 8 base pairs, and as such, is thought to be some form of alien life, or a failed bioweapon. They are used for many purposes within Ramsetia, from riding animals, to pets, to meals. They are fertile with any earthen lifeforms, and the hybridised creature is fertile and sustainable.

The usual sign of hybridisation is that the resultant creature will have garishly-bright fur of a normally unnatural colour, with the same even dots that decorate the Disco Dice's sides.

Our Native Wolf, known as the Nyuiwariiusmatticus or the Warken Shark Wolf. It is very aggressive and they are the pets of the Royal Family. Only few people have tamed them. They kill humans and many other beings, the current King allows them to roam un-harmed.

The Arouquesa Cow, bull or cattle, a good hardy native breed of cattle with fine beef and good uses as draft cattle. It was the one main staples of our economy before technology and industrial techniques made it viable to mass export fruit, wine and wheat.
