does your nation have an Air force, Navy, Army, Spercial Forces, Space Forces, Clown Forces?

Edit- what are the branches of your military? Numbers and specifics are optional.

In Andertion we have the Imperial Navy, Army, Air Force, Rangers, Orbital Defence (orbital missile satellites), and Fleet Command (space warships used primarily for exploration).

Our Coast Guard is beastly (we're an island) as is our Marine Corp. The Air Force and Army are both rather strong. And our Navy is full of subs and ships

There is the Moralite Army, split into the Moralite Air Force, the Moralite Legions, and the Moralite Militia. Strongest branch of the Moralite Military.

The Moralite Navy trails behind of the Moralite Army, it's only purposes being to protect the Islands from attack by sea and safeguard the islands from smugglers and the sort. Doctrine seen by some to be outdated horribly.

The Moralite Shock Force is the smallest part of the Moralite Military. They're equal parts elite light infantry, and technological guinea pigs.

The Military of the United Socialist States of Sebastianalandia is divided into three branches: the Red Army, Red Navy, and Red Air Force. These three branches are led by the High Command. Partially or wholly independent of the High Command are the paramilitary militias, the armed branch of the Secret Police, and the Military Science Programme.

Red Army - the strongest and (per capita) most well-funded of the branches. Consists of the basic infantry, the armoured forces, the cavalry (we have some, mostly-but-not-entirely ceremonial cavalry regiments), the artillery, etc. Contains the Special Forces division known as 'The Partisans', a combination of paratroopers, commandos, and mountaneers. Used for defence of the country and conquest of foreign lands. The Army's needs override the needs of the other branches in most circumstances.

Red Navy - the second strongest, most aristocratic and most conservative branch. Prized for its 'Wolf Packs', swarms of deadly light submarines, as well as two Typhoon-class strategic-missile submarines. Capital vessel fleet relatively strong, weak aircraft-carrier force. Contains the Marine Infantry, a Special Forces division. Used for defence of national waters, anti-piracy operations, and amphibious invasions. Considered secondary to the army's needs.

Red Air Force - the branch with the least bias against women. Lacking a central High Command, it recieves orders from the Army and Navy High Commands. Mostly obsolete technology, except for its cheap and formidable squadrons of unmanned drones. Recieves the least funding per capita. Used to supplement the other branches.

Auxiliary Units - various People's Militias are scattered around the nation (one Militia per district). All men of suitable age and physical condition are considered members of the local People's Militia (women who volunteer are allowed in). All members keep their uniform and weapons at home, but with the ammunition stored in government warehouses. Periodic training sessions are mandatory, and all weapons and uniforms must be kept clean. Act as reserves. Have no command structure outside of their district, and are under the command of the regular Military.

V-PKVS - the armed wing of the Secret Police. Has its own infantry and armoured forces. Used as reserves, special operations units, and elite assault units. Has a chain of command wholly seperate to that of the Military.

Military Science Programme - wholly under the jurisdictions of the People's Commissariat of War and the People's Commissariat of Science, this programme contains the country's strategic-missile stockpile, biological weapons programme, and military genetic engineering project (ie, mutant baboons). The Military must ask permission to access its stockpiles.

The Allied Nations of the Chrisman Union Armed Forces (ANCUAF) is divided into 3 sections: ANCUGF (Ground Forces), ANCUNF (Naval forces), and ANCUASF (Air Support Forces). These are then subdivided into further battlegroups, each with their own roles, preferences

1- ANCUTC = Tank corps, focusing on heavy armour and mechanized cavalry units.
2- ANCUABF = Airborne forces, paratroopers and helicopter units. ANCUABF units are dropped into enemy territory to eliminate key targets and securing beachheads before being reinforced by heavier ANCUGF units.
3- SPATHA = The Union's equivalent of the SAS. SPATHA is made up of the best the Union has to offer, and is only deployed in the direst of circumstances.

Since we have a planet to ourselves, we really only have the Aerospace Force. While we have oceans and a variety of landforms, there is not really much of a need for a Navy or Army. Crime and piracy are sometimes a problem, but these are handled by the police. Air and spacecraft may take off from ships on the oceans, but these are a part of the Aerospace Force. We rarely invade and mostly rely on orbital bombardment when attacking another nation until they submit to us, so there is no need for Marines or Army. When someone invades us, the citizens are armed and are very patriotic.

There are three main branches of the Prevanian military:

Prevanian Army - charged with defense of the fatherland and garisson duty, it is the least well funded section. The Local Defense Forces, comprising most adult males, fall under Army leadership, giving the Army the unusual situation of the largest potential number of troops, but weakly funded.

Prevanian Combined Fleets - this comprises the Prevanian Air Fleet, the Prevanian Navy and (in the future) the Prevanian Space Fleet. It is very well funded and is highly prestigious.

Kriegmoglichkeiten International - Permanent Solutions Department - KMKI provides auxillary support for the regular military (for a price, of course)
