The Gwekween organization called the World Public Registry is attempting to verify all free and/or unrestricted Country Top Level Domains.

The World Public Registry defines "Free" as costing no upfront or hidden charges for usage. Placing ads in lieu of payment is considered free as no charges will be placed on the domain.

The World Public Registry defines "Unrestricted" as not being bound to physical locality within a nation.

ccTLDs are not maintained by the WPR nor does the WPR regulate the ccTLDs. A ccTLD can be in format of a period followed by: one letter, one number, one letter followed by one number, one number followed by one letter, two letters, two numbers, two letters followed by one number, two numbers followed by one letter, one letter followed by a number and then another letter, one number followed by a letter and followed by another number, three letters, and three numbers.

Rules and Eligibility:

• Obviously a ccTLD must meet at least one of the above requirements to be put on this registry list.
• A nation may only have ONE ccTLD at a time.
• A ccTLD is first come first served. OOC: Obviously you do not have to use this as officially binding for all of Nationstates and is not affiliated in official capacity.
• A ccTLD will only be registered when a form (see below) is properly completed
• OOC: MT and Human Only; If you CTE then you will lose your ccTLD registration.
