So I finally decided to get off my backside and actually create the news forum (thank you Volario for your motivating news post).

The rules are as follows:

- As usual, if you want to speak out of character, put OOC.

- Non-region nations are advised to refrain from posting, but are free to read the forum.

- Each nation must run their own news station. Leydenites will run the region-wide news station if he so wishes in addition to his own.

- Each nation must have their own names for their news reporters.

- If you want to include/invent a story that includes another nation, try to get permission from them first. We don't want any stories that don't accurately represent the nation.

- No slandering other countries.

- No swearing, carrying on or inappropriate jokes.

- Any suggestions to change the rules must go through Patenants via telegram.

Breaking news are in with Supreme leader El Presidente and Billionaire Genius Tony Stark believed to have visited President George Cornfall in The Republic of Scrivaria. Intelligence report have confirmed the three influential leaders were enjoying lunch with President George Cornfall. Reports also suggest that El Presidente and Tony Stark are showing prototypes of their new technology and Presidente George Cornfall also did the same. We believe it is a great day for both nations as we are building a stronger and better relationship between the two nations.

In other news, billions of Sublime Ringnotes are being spent on a new island airport, with a mixed reception from citizens across the nation. Brian Fantana has more for us.

Brian Fantana: Millions of outraged citizens across the country have shown their dissatisfaction with the new airport being built on a new island. "I believe our tax money should be better spent somewhere else. We have an airport, why build another one?" commented by an outraged citizen.

Hi and Welcome to Levitation news, this is Neil Noble, and I am bringing you the latest, spiciest news from Levitation.

Levitation, well known for its large military has been seen testing war tactics outside of Fort Montagnard, with a spectacular display of over 200,000 Slicers flying in the sky. It is thought that defenses are being currently tested on effectiveness and that this will be going on for a while longer due to the large amount of slicers being held in the mountain. Rumors are nearly 400 million planes are in existence currently. Showing just why Vinci Cuotl is ranked second in command of the planets military forces.

In other news Levitation still holds its strong economy with a rating of 100/100 for nearly half a year. Still thriving as one of the power nations of the planet, with the second largest GDP, of $162,886,000,000,000.00 trailing behind Leydenites’ $201,097,000,000,000.00 and hoping to one day pass that amount. Levitation’s Rank has recently gone up to $1.91 in value causing many citizens to travel off to other countries for a chance to see the world.

Recent outrage has been caused with the destruction of Welfare problems within the nation. Angry citizens have rallied outside of level X in Fort Montagnard just outside of the Government Sector in protest. Other citizens are happy with the massive cut of taxes and say they are better off now that they get to keep a large amount more money in their pockets.

" Good evening. Tonight we go to Eel Isle in the Hot Rock Islands for a special announcement. We now go to our correspondent Raj Goonday."

"Thank you David. Well today the scientists from this lab here in FireStorm City have had some exciting news. For years dragons have feared eels and it was revealed that when eaten the dragon is struck down with Fire Eel Flu. Although it gives the dragon extreme fire power and unlimited shots the dragon is struck down with hallucinations and skittish behaviour. The government put money into this place after a dragon squad was accidently fed eel and destroyed Hatchet City. The large eel population and testing meant that after half a decade a cure has been found.
The cure, can be injected into the dragon and keeps them vaccinated for up to 3 years. When the consumed the eel can be safely digested and the effects of hallucinations and skittish behaviour are not contracted, but the firepower remains. The cure is now being sold not only to common people but the military allowing unlimited shots and fire power for up to an hour. A cure for Eel pox is now being sought out for humans and with these results, could come at a quick pace. That's all from here."

"Good afternoon, this is Abidan Gideon from channel 3.14. We have just been informed by officials that The Tutonia is thinking about joing the Simulated batle proposed by Jabrin Lane, Leader of Leydenites. While no other details have been released it has been rumored that Xavier plans to join the Rebellion side of the battle to challenge both leaders of Levitation and Leydenites. This has not been confirmed and lies with the rumor that The Do What Ever You Want Land of Oh So Freedom is also run by Xavier except he doesn't want anyone to know and is way to busy with running The Tutonia to run the country properly. It's Channel 5 News with your David Hood.

"Good evening, I'm David Hood, tonight's main story is some big military news from the Strinking Mist Islands. Today several high up officials met to unveil a new military weapon for the Black Diamond. We go to our correspondent Wendy Ra."

"Thank you David, today here at the Mount Whip Lash space centre a great meeting was held. First Albert Curatrix arrived on the back of his Scaldron, Kettledrum, he met with the head of the B.L.A.D.E. Science devision as well as some international scientist, constructors and the head of the project a space travel specialist. They unveiled a new addition to the S.R.S. Black Diamond. The new Volario addition named the Night Fury is in the shape of a night fury. It may have weak shields and armour, but makes up for it with speed and fire power. With a crew of 30 this ship folds its wings and attaches itself to the bottom of the S.R.S Black Diamond. It then charges on the ships reactor and increases the cannon tenfold. It also activates a new feature to the main ship. The rune cannon can open portals in space and creates quick travel. Now it should be noted that the Night Fury's cannon is not increased, nor can the Rune cannon be activated without the Night Fury being attached to the main ship. That's all thanks David."

OOC: There is no need for the rune cannon is not needed for portals, all the ships are attached with wormhole ability, with the engine room ship SRLS Concord equipped with an accelerated travel speed when all ships are connected.

the SRLS Concord is a low heavily armored ship with medium fire power, due to it holding the main engine for the SRS Diamond and an enlarged cargo hold.

"Hello and good evening I'm David Hood today all of Volario celebrated and gathered in Mayix City and around there television sets to see the knighting of the new Dragon Knights. Today Sir Micheal Rennard and his team handed over the role to a new generation after ten years of serving our country. The new Knights were knighted by Director Albert Curatrix in the Chamber of Dragons with the scared Dragon Blade. The new Strike Knight Sir George Fletcher now leads the Dragon Knights. The Knights then moved to the eight houses of classes and mounted there dragons and flew over the crowds displaying there fire power.
