In Tanzhiye, Tanshi folk music have been a foundational part of the Tanshi cultural heritage for over 5000 years. The Tanshi have been musicians and singers from the Ancient Era. The Tanshi are known to be a race with a deep love on music from the centuries.

Tanshi folk music is generally mellow, harmonious, peaceful and calm with very calming and peaceful slow tones resembling ballads. However, not all Tanshi folk music are these. Tanshi folk music is diversified and varied, ranging from war tunes stirring the bravery of soldiers preparing to battle, or to folk songs enamoring the natural landscapes of the region, to religious hymns celebrating piety and devotion, or perhaps to a romantic song singing, uh, how to make love.

The musical instruments used are mostly made of wood, bamboo and rattan which are indigenous materials. On several occasions, the instruments are made from stone and copper as well. Archaeological studies show that the Tanshi have independently developed several woodwind, string and percussion instruments using their creativity.

On ages of increased religious devotion, Tanshi music also has become religious. Many hyms and songs are written for God. Inspired by Christian religious belief, song and music have become expressions of worship, inspiring more musical output. Not all Tanshi music was religious, however. Patriotic hymns began to be written in the 17th century with the musician Berunardo kin Shuto writing 89 songs about the State. The performances in gazebo huts of Tanshi teenager female folk singers might be considered the first "concerts".

Today, the Tanshi pop music scene have become more popular. Tanshi rock music, heavy metal, electronic music, techno also have gained prominence. T-POP, branded as such by several music corporations increases in its popularity every year. Several girl bands and boy bands, along with single singers such as Never-ending Heartbeat, Fox and Puppy, Shreigenherd, Kuraishu, 4Popsicle, were all successful in their debuts and album sales overseas. Of course, girl band Cytune Angels, is still recognized as the flagship girl band of the Tanshi music industry, rivaling Korean SNSD and Japanese AKB48 in their sale of 3.5 million albums worldwide.

-Does your nation have historic musical heritages to be proud of?

Yes. Olwe has had a great amount of music in it since before it was founded, back in the old days of Athan when The Weird Sisters were popular.

-What genres of music or recognizable folk music traditions originated in your nation?

None... we incorporate all genres into our nation's music, but haven't invented any.

-What is the nature of your nations' music? Is it very religious, perhaps?

Quite the opposite, actually... Olwe's a pretty secular country. Most Olwean music is either overtly sexual in nature, or lyrically in line with the content of a battle hymn.

-What kind of musical instruments your nation's music uses?

Pretty much everything, but most commonly guitars, lutes, violins, sitars and other stringed instruments, often accompanied by synthesizers and woodwinds.

-Is your people known to have an affinity towards music or is your people known to be a race of musicians and singers?

Certain species living in Olwe -- the Elves come to mind -- could be considered a race of musicians and singers, but Olweans in general just have an affinity for music.

-Is your nation known for historical musical achievements known around the world?

Just one... Evenstar, an Olwean band, has been together in some form or another for over 1,100 years, which is an all-time multiversal record.

-Is your nation known for a music entertainment industry and exports it around the world?

Yes. A very diverse music entertainment industry that includes everything from classical to rap and metal.

-Or your nation is a Communist one who constantly spews such great songs for the Dear Leader?

No, although some songs have mentioned the Emperor in a positive light off and on.

-Does your nation have historic musical heritages to be proud of?

Of course we do! Many festivals and celebrations in the Infinite Sun involve music and have established a history of musical tradition within our society as well as the fact that music is a subject within our schools. Sure, schools are usually excluded to members of the nobility, but still!

-What genres of music or recognizable folk music traditions originated in your nation?

Aztec music.

-What is the nature of your nations' music? Is it very religious, perhaps?

It's a bit complicated. Music is usually quite religious, as it is played often in religious celebrations, but it is also seen as a way to pass on culture through symbolic meaning within the songs. It's just that our culture happens to be very religious.

-What kind of musical instruments your nation's music uses?

A huge variety of drums, rattles and flutes.

-Is your people known to have an affinity towards music or is your people known to be a race of musicians and singers?

Uh... Well, we like to think we have an affinity towards music... But most people know us for our military prowess and our penchant for waging wars for sacrifices to the Gods.

-Is your nation known for historical musical achievements known around the world?

Well, yes, considering we took over our world, every musical achievement from thereafter has been ours by default.

-Is your nation known for a music entertainment industry and exports it around the world?

Uh, export it? The only thing we export or Infinite Sun fleets and warriors, in exchange for sacrifices from foreign civilizations.

-Or your nation is a Communist one who constantly spews such great songs for the Dear Leader?

While our glorious Emperors are revered as instruments of divine will, we don't need to dedicate our songs to them to know this fact.

-Does your nation have historic musical heritages to be proud of? Music never gained popularity in Crumb-Cashew's early days, although the art was not nonexistent. Some types of Crumb music are still in existence today.
-What genres of music or recognizable folk music traditions originated in your nation? The term garlico does not refer to garlic, the food; instead, it refers to the classical folk music played in Crumb-Cashew. Its translation in English means "well-worn", as it is generally rejective of modern musical instruments.
-What is the nature of your nations' music? Is it very religious, perhaps? Garlico can be identified with the Cipolle religion at times, although it is often used in national anthem-type songs, general folk (similar to country) or instrumental tunes.
-What kind of musical instruments your nation's music uses? Crumb-Cashew music generally used natural-made instruments, often crafted from natural resources such as lead and wheat. Now, the same instruments are created for this type of music, although they are factory-made and no longer obsolete.
-Is your people known to have an affinity towards music or is your people known to be a race of musicians and singers? Not at all.
-Is your nation known for historical musical achievements known around the world? Not at all.
-Is your nation known for a music entertainment industry and exports it around the world? Not at all.

Imyonese music culture is a melting pot of all kinds of music cultures.

-Does your nation have historic musical heritages to be proud of?
The Century of Ballads (???-1700s) during the Mogtang Dynasty (AD.1138-1802), this was a revival of sorts during the Mogtang's Golden Age. Music from this era tended to praise historical figures and emperors of bygone days. Some of these historic ballads have gained attention as of late due to the romanticism of the time period.

-What genres of music or recognizable folk music traditions originated in your nation?
Traditional Imyonese music tended to be slow, mellow, and melancholic. The Waltz count (3/4 time) was often used buy many musicians throughout the musical history of Imyoji, and with the advent of westernization, the Waltzes of Europe were integrated into Imyonese society. They then transformed into the Imyonese waltz, an intricate dance combining traditional dances with the waltz, as well as a combination of traditional music and Western tunes.

Modern Imyonese pop originated in western Swing, Blues, and Jazz. Again, fusion is a high point in Imyonese music culture.

-What is the nature of your nations' music? Is it very religious, perhaps?
Traditional Imyonese music tended to be slow, mellow, and melancholic. Modern Imyonese music tended to be ballad like in nature, telling a story of sorts through song. Tragedies are a major theme for most modern day songs, with aseops on life here and there.

-What kind of musical instruments your nation's music uses?
The Erhu (Chinese violin, Chinese origins, used in Imyonese Ballads for the most part) as well as guitars (of all kinds) are popular. Synthesizers have been always popular since the late 90s. Pianos remain a major instrument in many Imyonese songs.

Modern Imyonese music tends to utilize heavy percussion instruments and synthesizers. This gives a common characteristic between many Imyonese pop songs, one of intensity and graveness.

-Is your people known to have an affinity towards music or is your people known to be a race of musicians and singers?
Somewhat, but that depends. Traditional ballads of Imyonese origin tended to be those of grandeur and great emotion, as well as being logically created with counts in mind. Imyonese music tended to be associated not just with traditional literature, but philosophy and mathematics, subjects that are highly regarded by many Imyonese to be the highest forms of art. As such, many philosophers and mathematicians tended to be great musicians.

-Is your nation known for historical musical achievements known around the world?
Various British-Imyonese composers have toured the world, as well as world class concert stages hosting various music festivals every year.

-Is your nation known for a music entertainment industry and exports it around the world?
Currently, the Jikanbal (Which means 'The Excellence' aka Imyo-Pop or Y-pop) is seen as competition against the Hallyu (K-pop) throughout Asia, when really Korean and Imyonese artists and companies tended to cooperate greatly on many various productions. Both categories of music are extremely popular in East Asia, but the Jikanbal has more popularity in Central Asia, Russia, Europe, and the Middle East due to Imyonese media (mostly movies and television) being originally very popular in those regions historically. The most famous Imyonese group is the boy band MIND, rivaling many Korean boy bands.

-Or your nation is a Communist one who constantly spews such great songs for the Dear Leader? Nationalist music had their peak in the 70s and early 80s during the Junta era. Again, ballad format, but more traditional and romanticist in nature.

and the slow ones are usually religious

Music in Tolmakia is diverse. Though this is the case, very few old traditional Tolmakian songs exist. The majority of Tolmakian folk or national songs are modern, and were mostly created during Tolmakia's creation and golden age in the 1980s.

Indigenous Tolmakian music range from songs with simple tunes that rhyme like poems, to rock or classical music. Few native religious songs exist, these mostly composed of songs brought in by other nations and translated to Tolmakian.

In the republic, young people are usually encouraged to have an instrument they can play, sometimes referred to as a "life" instrument, or "instrumental companion." Famous instruments include the violin, guitar, and simple percussion.

Sidhae regard themselves as proud keepers of Old Terran legacy. Hence, many music styles that have otherwise been defunct among humans for centuries are very much alive in Sidh culture.
-What genres of music or recognizable folk music traditions originated in your nation?
The most ancient Sidh traditions hail from the Middle Ages of Old Terra. Most, however, have their origins in the 19th and 20th centuries.
-What is the nature of your nations' music? Is it very religious, perhaps?
The typical Sidh music does resemble religious chants of Old Terra a bit. The content, however, is rarely of spiritual nature. One of the traditional Sidh music styles makes wide use of Old Terran folk instruments (fifes, bagpipes, etc.), the particular style emphasizing glory of ancient times in the lyrics. Sidh music styles can typically be distinguished by the content of their lyrics - casual songs of romance and carousing, patriotic songs and military marches, pseudo-religious songs dedicated to remembrance of Imperial history, and folk-like songs in honour of Sidh ancestors of Old Terra.
-What kind of musical instruments your nation's music uses?
Most Sidh instruments presently are electronic. There is no shortage of enthusiasts, however, who have mastered the use of more traditional instruments.
-Is your people known to have an affinity towards music or is your people known to be a race of musicians and singers?
Not really. Sidhae are somewhat boring that way, even though the ancestral nation of the Emperor is said to have been one of great singers and poets as well as warriors.
-Is your nation known for historical musical achievements known around the world?
One of the better-known Sidh works of music is the "Symphony of Fury", a piece composed personally by the Empress upon learning of her father's assassination. Performed on organ, the melody expresses raw fury and sorrow like few others, promising terrible revenge upon those responsible more than any verbal threats ever would.
-Is your nation known for a music entertainment industry and exports it around the world?
No. Sidhae generally regard foreign music as too shallow and commercial to be heard, and value their own too highly to be degraded to such a base level.
-Or your nation is a Communist one who constantly spews such great songs for the Dear Leader?
While there are indeed many songs dedicated to the "great leader", these are by no means the limit of Sidh musical prowess. Old Terran classics are very much alive where humans have forgotten them, from Verdi's "Dies Irae" to AC/DC's "Highway to Hell".
Freedom doesn't mean being able to do as one please, but rather not to do as one doesn't please.

A fool sees religion as the truth. A smart man sees religion as a lie. A ruler sees religion as a useful tool.

The more God in one's mouth, the less in one's heart.
