Apologies for not replying to this sooner but really, it's your own call. If you want a low population density then you have one there.

You should be able to put images in your factbook, yeah. Just use the [img] tags around it and it'll be there;

This code:
Code: Select all
[img]https://i.imgur.com/eKf1nsh.jpg[/img]

gives this:

I always recommend resizing your images to the one width though, first, so it looks neater - I think MS Paint's resize tool should be more than enough.

I am trying to figure out how to post images in my factbook ( such as geographical maps, news photo's, ect. ) and can't seem to get it to work. I type in [img]and[/img] at the beginning and end of the photo and it doesn't post, am I doing it incorrectly. Also is there a good image hosting site that is known to work well with NationStates?

You need to first upload it to Imgur.com where you will get links to embed it.

It needs to be a direct URL to the image, so while
Code: Select all
[img]http://imgur.com/mqegRDQ[/img]

won't work - and will give the message "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image." -
Code: Select all
[img]http://i.imgur.com/mqegRDQ.png[/img]

will. Make sure it ends in an image file extension (.bmp, .jpg, .png) or it usually won't work.

I wa wondering of anyone knew the image size limits of images for the in-game factbooks. I know that in forums images cannot exceed 900x900, but when I was working on one of my factbooks I was able to upload banners wider than that (I think exactly 1000px wide). So is there actually any limit to the image sizes usable for factbooks? Its not that I want to spam my factbook with hundreds of images that are huge in size or anything, just curious...

My first time here in NationStates. This nation will have to keep it short since we don't have much to say and we're newly founded.

Is it possible to post a factbook here as an introduction thread? Because i've looked at only the topics at the top of the board, and sadly, there's no introduction one there. I already written a description of my nation in my factbook, but I couldn't find a place to post it here as an introduction.

By the way, this isn't my real flag. I already made one in MS Paint, but it's somewhere in the Republic's library of hard drives and gotta retrieve it at a later date.

I don't see why not. :)

Does anybody know how to organize the Factbooks, under a certain category? For instance, I wrote several posts, under my history section, and I am trying to put them in a certain order, but I can't figure out how. I wrote a Book One, Book Two, Book Three, Book Four, Book Five, and I am trying to order them from one to five.

It appears to be based on the order in which they're published, as you seem to have found out yourself. Your newer ones are closer to the top, at any rate.

Not sure if I have been missed or something, so I'll ask this again:

I'd give you an answer but I honestly haven't a clue. Try asking in Technical, where an admin's more likely to see this, or maybe just test it with increasingly large rectangles, pixel by pixel? :p

Hmmm, I'll do the latter and test images one pixel wider than the last. I'd probably find out the limit eventually .... maybe in five decades :p

what is the bbcode for font size

[size=100]Your text here[/size], where the number is a percentage of normal font size; so 120 would be 20% bigger, 75 would be 25% smaller.

Hello, I'm just wondering if someone can direct me to a thread that has a template of a treaty? Sorry to be asking, but I've been looking for months and have come up with nothing.

I have tried a couple of times to put a image on one of my factbooks, but it always comes up with a question mark? Why is this.
Also, how do you put a box on the right side of a page!

Your image problem is probably easily fixed by using the code, [img]Image's url[/img unless your image is incompatible. For your box, you must use the code [floatright]Box's code and contents[/floatright

I have a question as well, how do you demonstrate an increase or decrease sign in the factbook? I tried the normal Wikipedia code which is {{increase}} but it didn't work. Do I have to get it as an image?

Two Questions:

How many factbooks can you have?
How big can they be?

25 factbooks (but unlimited dispatches)
I don't think their is a limit on the size of the factbook.
