This gave me a very very very bad idea for my own super heavy helicopter. Holding to my philosophy of "Everything ridiculously big made for NS should make use of nuclear power" philosophy, I'm wondering what the feasibility would be for making a nuclear Turbshaft engine. Note that this would in no way be intended for a serious design.

Remember the limiting factor for nuclear-powered aircraft is very low PWR/TWR due to reactors being very heavy. I imagine this effect would be much more pronounced in a helicopter. At least aircraft generate lift in level flight.

And I was up-close with the Tiger from the movie this weekend...Technically, that means I got to see a Tiger and a T-34 in one, without having to go to a museum!

If I were to modify RPG-7 warheads to do such a thing, would something like a HE or shrapnel warhead be a good idea?
