I was talking about real branches, not five guys and jeep (or I guess in America's case, five guys and a helicopter).

SOF in general are pretty meaningless compared to an entire navy.

RAN should replace Collins with something good though this time, but they'll probably fuck whatever it is up harder than Canada's Oberons tbh. British colonies outside America seem to be really bad at making ships for whatever reason.

The US has less then 2000 tanks ready to be used, or in use at any one time. The rest sit in a parking lot and need some work to be ready to use.

"Parking lot" is a bit generous for what is basically a fenced in lot in the Mojave. They're not even paved outside SIAD I guess.

I completely reworked the structure of the Ministry of Defence in my nation, referencing the US DoD as a model, but mixing in elements expected of China. I'd appreciate it if you could give me some feedback. If you have questions (and you should, because I haven't written the precise portfolios of each of those organizations yet), just TG me in case I get new-page ninja'd.

This doesn't seem to be very logically laid out, because the diagram appears to demonstrate strings of supposedly-parallel hierarchies (ie, people of equal rank) as actually subordinate to each other.

It would not be "utter shit", it would be less effective than, say, lead.
We know it is not "utter shit" because tanks have sufficed without novel radiation protection measures throughout the entire cold war.

Tanks have two major advantages against nuclear attack. They're full of metal and they're unlikely to be at or near the centre of a burst where the radiation flux is strongest. If it's at or near the burst centre, the crew will likely be killed anyway by various means so radiation protection is irrelevant.

When I was interning at a nuclear engineering company three years ago, I was working on data analysis for sample sources using a lead castle. The project supervisor pointed out that technically, DU would be a better shield because higher Z, despite being a gamma emitter itself.
The lead was still entirely sufficient. It doesn't mean that using DU is suddenly practical, certainly not necessary.

I, shortly after posting that statement, realized that borated polyethylene was not the only material that tanks are made of and that .75 meters of composite armor would probably attenuate even the most high energy gammas sufficiently to not be a problem at all.

However I am thinking of using DU in reactor shielding because it does not soften and melt at a low temperature like lead does.

In extended combat operations you won't be able to wash on a daily basis, you may not even be able to wipe yourself down with wipes (Which can upset the balance in the vagina) and cause issues. Unlike a male, who can wipe his penis whenever and not get irritated.

At the very least, it's stressed a soldier wipe his hot spots, areas that sweat builds up, first and foremost. This allows a soldier to remain a clean as he can get in combat, and lowers the risk of fungus infections.

If a female wipes herself, upsets the balance, and proceeds to get an infection anyway, that's logistical burdens placed on the troops around here.
