The Ministry of Foreign Affairs
This is the Government Department that deals with matters of International Relations with the Holy Empire. It is also an important Office for the World Assembly Delegate, Commonwealth of Crowns Delegate and Interregional Delegates as well as the Foreign Secretary.
The purpose of this Department is to keep contact with Allied, Neutral and Enemy Nations as well as build Diplomatic Relations with other Countries. The Holy Jackonian Embassy Programme is a subdivision of the MoFA, responsible for establishing Embassies and Consulates. The MoFA also assists with Foreign Arrest cases, Foreign Aid and International incidents.
The current Foreign Secretary is Charles Jones. He is a senior Member of the Conservative Party, serving in both the Cabinet and Government. He has been the Foreign Secretary since December 2014. The Chairman of the Holy Jackonian Embassy Programme is Sir Peter Whittle. Another senior figure in the Conservative Party who worked in the Foreign Affairs Ministry before establishing the HJEP in 2015.
Important Information
As described above, the Holy Jackonian Embassy Programme was established by Sir Peter Whittle to control the management of Embassies in the Holy Empire. It also supplies vital information concerning the establishemnt of Embassies.
The Holy Jackonian Empire is a vast Empire located in the Commonwealth of Crowns. It is to the east. If you need a Map, the HJEP will be happy to supply applicants with one. At the moment, HJEP doesn't supply Foreign Language support, but future Government spending will be allocated to Language support. All Applicants must know English for now.
St John's is the Capital City. A vast swathe of Skyscrapers and Georgian style buildings, St John's is the place to be. The majority, if not all, Government activity occurs here. Since the founding of the Holy Empire in November 2014, St John's has acted as a Trade base and Culture haven. The former Capital, Jackondale, is a magnificent Sea side City with everything a City could want. Jackondale is also spacious, perhaps worth considering when applying, though we don't want everyone setting up Embassies in Jackondale. Yewbury is a magnificent City with Tudor style streets and multiple Religious Institutions. St Peters is among the three Cities catigorised as the 'Three Mounts'. St Peter's Mount is one of them, St Peter's being at the summit of the Mountain. Located to the north-west of the other Cities, still a good place to form an Embassy/Consulate.
As a Member of the World Assembly, the Holy Jackonian Empire must abide accordingly to the General Assembly Resolution #22.
We must make clear make clear that Embassies are not the same as Territory. Those establishing Embassies, and Consulates for that matter, should always abide by the Law of the City/Town. The Government will treat Embassies as Holy Jackonian Territory, but managed by the host Nation/Empire. Below are a few rules of conduct to follow when possessing an Embassy/Consulate or both;
1. Your Government must respect International Law concerning Embassies and Consulates.
2. A maximum limit of 1 Embassy and 4 Consulates must be adhered to
3.Embassies have a limit of 20 Security Staff, 50 Service Staff and 25 Diplomatic Staff. Consulates have a limit of 15 Security Staff, 30 Service Staff and 20 Diplomatic Staff. Nothing over the Limits is allowed
4. Embassies and Consulates may have lethal and non-lethal Weapons, but only Security Staff may possess Weaponary. A maximum limit of 1 Weapon per Security Staff must be followed.
5. The Holy Jackonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy Programme, Imperial House, Royal Family and any other Government Departments have the right to reject Applicants and shut down Embassies and Consulates within reason and subject to analysis of sufficient evidence to suggest immediate action. Decissions made in these circumstances are non-negotiable and effective with immediate effect.
6. Only Towns and Cities listed below are suitable for Embassies and Consulates. These are selected by Government for the management of Embassies/Consulates by HJEP.

Message from the Government
We do hope that the Embassy Programme can serve those that are willing to establish Diplomatic relations with our Holy Empire. Perhaps even Trade agreements can be established as well.
