As a nation that doesn't follow international laws very well. Would incendiary rounds work? You're a brave soul. *Salutes

very very nice.
You could look at the latest AX series rifles from AI but they are basically just the AW series with modular everything and all of the places to mount the rails.

Question of the day, if you had a lot of AKs, SKSes, and PPSes; who would you assign them to in your armed forces?

AK to regulars, SKS to reserves, PPS to anyone who doesn't need or can't use an AK.Doppio Giudici wrote:Question of the day, if you had a lot of AKs, SKSes, and PPSes; who would you assign them to in your armed forces?

The M240 and M249 are Belgian, the M27 is German, the M2 was finished after Browning's death by the Belgians...
This is like the exact same argument you're inexplicably putting to us.
Well, tbf the M2 was designed by an American and put into production by Americans, and has been continuously produced by Americans since. As far as national origins go, the M2 is about as American as applie pie really, given the first making of the M2 were done by Winchester, Co.
You can thank Fred Moore for that.
Id also like to point out that FN has been an "American" company for some years in the same way H&K was "British" for those years. The M240s largest point of manufacture is the United States, the same for the M249/Minimi.
Oh and the M60 is still in use, so the US does still have its own domestically designed and produced machine guns.
Odd that.

Honestly I don't even think they would have done that too often. If you are serving in a tank unit that is composed of one type of tank you'd just call it a Tank. If you are getting your supplies via 20 different types of halt-track I imagine you'd just call them all a truck. Just like you'd call your rifle a rifle.

First man gets a rifle, second man gets a magazine.
