The whole point of the top mounted magazine was that dust, dirt, sand, mud and other crap would fall out the bottom, instead of staying in the action.

Take the magwell from the sten, then have it eject downward as before. Top-mounted mags are for Vz. 26 and derivatives, and triple 20s.

You don't shade on paint; you take it into paint.net, overlay a layer of transparency and use dark gray and light gray colours in your paintbrush.

Unless you're pixel arting, where you do it on your colour layer. (Pleb)

You have to change the colour you're using ever so slightly to a slightly darker shade, and then rinse wash repeat until preferred.Kinda like how I did the tops of my ships here, but darker colours instead of brighter ones.

If I remember stormtrooper can been penetrated anywhere with a sharpened stick and is inappropriately defective against massed slingers. There are similar problems with their armored vehicles and mechanizations being ineffective at stopping small catapults and musquet fire.

How would they ever last against modern earth firearms?
