Well it led to me and Nirv having a lengthy debate on skype yesterday. Know that no opinions were changed. His fault.

Seriously though, there is plenty of pre-modern discussion here that goes way more in depth than most of the modern discussions. Just get Aqiz and here and I can prove it by asking him about comparing ancient swords that did in fact fight each other.
