Also, what do you think of my fire selector mechanism?

I dont like fire selecting mechanisms that aren't H&K, Stoner, or Kalashnikov.
Or updated Kalashnikov.
Thats really it for me.

That is impossible because my old rifle was striker fired (all old rifles were). And I want to make a point of my designers just using the same mechanism over an over again due to being lazy. You can literally see how the design evolves with my rifles.

Say what you want about that thing but one thing I do not understand is why they failed. Yes the thing is flawed. But frankly if I was a burglar/rapist/murderer/jehowas witness and I was greeted at the door by a housewife wielding one of those I would most assuredly be deterred.

I can't help but think that a HEDP VOG would be immensely useful, if just for engaging targets in buildings. The spallation effect behind the barrier can be quite impressive with good design.

I suspect a thermobaric shell might be handy as well.

So, I spent some time today attempting to recreate the 3x47mm US. Nearest I can tell, it'd have been largely impossible to spin stabilize a projectile of sufficient BC (G7 .1+). Any thoughts?

It's 1950-something. I'll keep the funky devices for the Model 1985 bullpup and Model 2000 rifle.
