Alright, you complained, so here it is! Another update. This time, the changes are:
  • A new 'HDI' like index will be formed, called the Future-Adjusted Development Index, FADI, with a different set of expectations for FT nations, based on self provided information. This will be separated out from the HDI. Should there be any broken calculations, they will be smoothed out.
  • Same goes for the Gender Development Index - adjustments will be made regarding FT nations, but they will be listed on the same ranking.
  • All others are unchanged

Will get on to updating the rankings now. Here are the notes about what happened
  • Jute's ICT Index not calculated because it is incomplete (connection speeds)
  • Saint-Sebastian's GDI not calculated because it is incomplete (female data)
  • Saphyrae's ICT index not caulcated because it is incomplete (Broadband subscriptions per 100 inhabitants)
  • Davinhia resubmit HDI+GDI as per above notes, GEM not done because 'Over 2 million' is not a percentage.
  • Multorepur resubmit HDI+GDI as per above notes
  • Nuwe Suid Afrika's statistics don't make sense (GDI/HDI) - Average income for males/females is 79570 USD, but GDPpc is 16,347 USD? I would also appreciate numbers instead of '1 in 38'
  • Otherwise, all other nations and indices calculated.

Carl Sagan, astrophysicist and atheist wrote:"Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality.
When we recognize our place in an immensity of light-years and in the passage of ages,
when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling,
that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual...
The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both."

Thanks to a revolutionary drug, we in Multorepur live up to two or three times as long! The drug works by slowing down the aging process, so someone who is mentally and legally age 30 would appear to be age 10-15.

See the future-related spoiler if you're unsure. Generally, if the lifespan is a bit excessive, use that instead.

The dominant species of the UNE, Creature Elves, live about 10,000 years on average. Biologically, I would say that this age equates to a modern human living to be about 120.

Then put it down as 120 :3. The calculations get a bit more wonky if the life expectancy is a large amount lower than the lifespan, so make sure that they roughly match up in equivalent ages.

Sebtopiaris is a culturally and ethnically Mediterranean, single-party democratic socialist state in the New Warsaw Pact with a population of 39 million Sebtopiariots. Sebtopiaris and its IC actions do not represent my personal beliefs, and Sebtopiaris's overview page does not represent much at all.
