Official Information
Name of person/organisation taking questionnaire: Good Looking Tourism Board, Inc.
Name of nation: All Good Looking Men
Form of government: Oligopolistic Aristocracy
Population: 7,271 Billion
Tech level of nation: Modern Tech
How prevalent is tourism in your nation? Not very common yet, but our Board hopes to change that.

Anti-discrimination legislation
1a) Are there any anti-discrimination laws that apply for all minorities? Equality under the law is a constitutional duty for the common people, and a constitutional right for the aristocracy. Discrimination against someone of equal rank is a violation of the constitution.
b) Are there any anti-discrimination laws applying specifically for LGBT minorities? Being LGBT is a prerequisite for being in the aristocracy.
c) How extensive do such anti-discrimination laws go? They are part of our constitution.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? The government has recently declared that tourists would constitute two classes of “guests”and “noble guests”, being between common people and the aristocracy, but not wholly aristocratic even if they are LGBT.

Marriage/Partnership
1. Status of civil unions in your country: non-existent, but foreign civil unions are recognised as marriages under the law.
2. Status of gay marriage in your country: We have marriage, and it is open to all – including tourists – as long as you marry someone of the same class. Marriages between people of unequal class require the assistance of a class action lawyer.

Adoption Status
1a) Are homosexual couples able to adopt children? Yes
b) Are there any conditions for homosexual couples to adopt? The same as for heterosexual couples: the couple must be financially secure, of good reputation, no criminal record for the past 15 years, and the children must belong to the same class as the prospective adoptive parents.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? As tourists are by law not of the same class as any of the children they might adopt, prospective adoptive parents are advised to consult a class action lawyer before venturing into adoption procedures.

LGBT-Marketing
Does your country's travel companies market towards LGBT tourirsts? We do. In fact: we prefer LGBT tourists. We especially advertise the south coast, where surfing and snorkeling and the nightlife are popular. Another popular spot catering specifically to LGBT travelers is the “Noble Village” Hamsborough, one of our capital’s suburbs. The governmental centre of the capital is RESTRICTED to LGBT travelers. Prospective visitors must be able to bring proof of same-sex affinity (marriage license, friendship rings) to the AGLM ambassy in their country or to the home ministry in AGLM to obtain a permit of entry.

Equal Age of Consent
1. Age of consent for sex for heterosexual couples: between 18 and 21, depending on the municipality
2. Age of consent for sex for homosexual couples: 16
3. Is the age of consent different for tourists? No, travelers are advised to check the age of consent in the municipality of their choice.

Religious influence
1a) Is there a state religion in your country? It is called “surrender”.
b)(i) Does the state religion condemn acts of homosexuality? No it doesn’t. Homosexuality is greatly favoured by the state religion.
(ii) If so, does a majority of the population follow this religion? The vast majority of our people adhere to “surrender” – they favour homosexuality.
2. If so, does the state religion influence the government's decision on legislation regarding LGBT minorities? It certainly does; you cannot be in any leadership role without adhereing to the state religion. By extension, that means you cannot legislate without being LGBT and favouring the LGBT minority.

HIV-travel restrictions
1. Are citizens infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel beyond the country's borders? Yes.
2. Are foreigners infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel into the country's borders? Yes.
3. Are offenders who travel in or out of the country punishiable by anything more than deportation under the law? Not applicable.

4: Please be advised that LGBT tourists may use the free health facilities accorded to the “noble guests class”. These can be found in all major tourist centres and most of the big cities. They can be identified by a pink triangle with a silver asklepian.

Anti-gay laws
1a) Are there laws that discriminate against minorities as a whole? We strenuously deny that our class system would qualify as discriminatory. Most authorities in our country believe that being straight is a choice, and therefore a choice to forego a membership of the better classes.
b) Are there laws that discriminate LGBT minorities specifically? Quite the reverse.
c) How extensive do such discriminatory laws go? As said before, it is all in our constitution. Violations are not tolerated.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? They do; tourists have their own two classes.

Homosexuality illegal
1a) Is committing sexual activities with a person of the same sex criminalised under the law? Of course not.
b) Are offenders of the law punished by a jail term beyond 10 years, execution, torture, et cetera? Not apllicable
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? Not applicable

Pride banned
1a) Are LGBT pride parades illegal in your country? Of course not.
b) If not, are such pride parades common in your country? Our people love a good parade. Some municipalities have more than one parade a year. The town of Crouwel holds the record; at seven gay pride parades a year. The August parade can go on for days on end.

Locals hostile
1. What is the percentage of the population that believes homosexuality should not be accepted by society? Expression of that opinion, in word or in deed, is an offense under the law. The punishment is two years of indentured service at a minimum, and life at maximum.
2. Are LGBT related activities welcomed or shunned by society in general? Welcomed. Emphatically welcomed.

Persecution
1a) Have there been reported acts of persecution committed against LGBT minorities by the locals? None.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? Not applicable. The media, like all other institutions, are led by members of the aristocracy. And as we have said before, leaders are necessarily in favour of the LGBT community, of which they are a part.

Murders
1a) Have there been reported murders of those who are part of LGBT minorities committed by the locals? In a big country, it is inevitable that the occasional murder accurs. But if the victim is a member of the LGBT community, it is not likely that he or she was murdered because of their sexual orientation. Such a hate crime would carry a life sentence. Be assured that all crime is very seriously investigated and prosecuted. LGBT tourists have nothing to fear.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? Not applicable. The media, like all other institutions, are led by members of the aristocracy. And as we have said before, leaders are necessarily in favour of the LGBT community, of which they are a part.

Death sentences
1a) Have there been reported executions targeted specifically at a person for committing activities related to the LGBT community/homosexual acts? Our country usually abrupts diplomatic relations with nations who allow such crimes against humanity.
b) Are such executions glorified by the local media? Not applicable. The media, like all other institutions, are led by members of the aristocracy. And as we have said before, leaders are necessarily in favour of the LGBT community, of which they are a part.

Postby Imperium Sidhicum » Tue Jan 27, 2015 6:35 am

Official Information
Name of person/organisation taking questionnaire: Imperial Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Name of nation: Imperium of Sidhae
Form of government: monarchy/stratocracy
Population: hundreds of billions
Tech level of nation: FT
How prevalent is tourism in your nation? Minimal, mostly domestic. Foreign tourism is negligible due to hostile foreign relations with most of Imperium's neighbors.

Anti-discrimination legislation
1a) Are there any anti-discrimination laws that apply for all minorities? No. The notion of "minority" itself is rejected by the Imperial government and Sidh society at large. A resident of the Imperium either is a Sidh with all rights and duties that come with it, or is not and does not benefit from any Imperial laws.
b) Are there any anti-discrimination laws applying specifically for LGBT minorities? No.
c) How extensive do such anti-discrimination laws go? See above.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? Any foreign visitors are required to wear badges or bracelets identifying them as such to prevent any unpleasant misunderstandings. They remain under protection of Imperial law as long as they do not break the law. Visitors are free to exercise their own ways and customs as long as these do not break any Imperial laws, and no Sidhae are actively being solicited into partaking.

Marriage/Partnership
1. Status of civil unions in your country: Marriage of any kind in the Imperium is non-existent, seeing how institutions of family and private property (as understood by humans, at least) are obsolete in Sidh society. The closest thing to marriage/civil union in Sidh society is a contract of co-habitation, which permits two Sidhae involved in a romantic affair to legally share the same residence. Marriages and civil unions of foreign visitors are recognized, but do not merit any special legal benefits under Imperial law.
2. Status of gay marriage in your country: See above.

Adoption Status
1a) Are homosexual couples able to adopt children? Sidhae are cyborgs, who are grown/built, not born. Consequently, having children or adopting any is a non-issue. Even if Sidhae reproduced naturally, their children would still be taken and reared by the state, and in such case, relationships that do not result in unassisted procreation certainly wouldn't be encouraged. Fortunately, that is not the case, massive factory-like progenitories creating new fully-functional adult Sidhae as necessary.
b) Are there any conditions for homosexual couples to adopt? See above.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? Family units of foreign visitors are recognized regardless of their composition.

LGBT-Marketing
Does your country's travel companies market towards LGBT tourirsts? There are few travel companies to begin with, and the existing ones cater to customers by their profession rather than sexual preferences.

Equal Age of Consent
1. Age of consent for sex for heterosexual couples: The concept of "age of consent" is pointless to define in a society where everyone is effectively older than 20 in terms of biological and mental age. In other word's, if it has a pulse, it can consent.
2. Age of consent for sex for homosexual couples: See above.
3. Is the age of consent different for tourists? The sexual affairs of foreign visitors are of no concern to Sidh authorities, provided no Sidhae are involved, consensually or otherwise.

Religious influence
1a) Is there a state religion in your country? No. The closest thing to an universal religion in Sidh society is the Way, teachings of the first Emperor of Sidhae.
b)(i) Does the state religion condemn acts of homosexuality? Homosexuality is recognized to be a non-impairing multi-spectral disorder by the scientific community, and the Way is a somewhat pragmatical philosophy that doesn't contradict findings of science. Consequently, it regards homosexuality as a disorder no different from bipolar disorder or Asperger syndrome, i.e., something that merits treatment rather than condemnation.
(ii) If so, does a majority of the population follow this religion? Yes. Being a Sidh effectively entails living by the Way.
2. If so, does the state religion influence the government's decision on legislation regarding LGBT minorities? The Imperial government hasn't deemed it necessary to legislate anything pertaining to sexual minorities, seeing how they have plenty of more important things to do (such as running an interstellar empire embroiled in a war on several fronts). Sex life of Imperium's citizens, residents and visitors is their own private thing, and the only regulation indirectly pertaining to homosexuality in the legislation is a ban on "promoting deviant lifestyles" - which broadly applies to any outsider lifestyle contrary to Sidh ways and principles.

HIV-travel restrictions
1. Are citizens infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel beyond the country's borders? Sidh augmented immune systems can comfortably handle HIV infection and most other pathogens lethal to ordinary humans, so HIV infection is a non-issue to them.
2. Are foreigners infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel into the country's borders? See above. Obviously, there are other infectious diseases that are problematic even for Sidhae to cope with, so any visitors infected with such are not allowed in. Fortunately, most of these diseases are too deadly for any infected to survive the lengthy trip to the Imperium between the stars.
3. Are offenders who travel in or out of the country punishiable by anything more than deportation under the law?
Should anyone infected with these specific diseases arrive at Imperium's border, that would merit immediate quarantine of all exposed personnel, and summary termination of the subjects if containment measures fail - but as said before, these are very specific and very nasty diseases that rightfully merit such drastic measures, HIV/AIDS not ranking even remotely close.

Anti-gay laws
1a) Are there laws that discriminate against minorities as a whole? Only the law that specifies that there are no minorities, there are only Sidhae and everyone else. Humans, being the largest "everyone else" group by far, are heavily discriminated against, being secluded to ghettos and forbidden to leave them without special permit. These laws do not apply to foreign visitors, seeing how their presence is only temporary. Interestingly, with all their social isolation and discrimination, humans enjoy considerably greater personal liberty than Sidh citizens - not being protected by Imperial law beyond a few basic points of convenience, they are also not required or expected to follow the many strictures, codified or customary, that regulate Sidh lives.
b) Are there laws that discriminate LGBT minorities specifically? No. There are few homosexuals or other -sexuals in Sidh society to begin with, the existing ones not meriting any special discrimination laws. As said before, Sidhae see sexual deviance as a disorder, something to be treated like any other disorder rather than used as grounds for abuse and discrimination.
c) How extensive do such discriminatory laws go? See above.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? As said, visitors are exempt from most laws that regulate the lives of residents asides from fundamental laws and rules of conduct commonly observed everywhere. Their sexual preferences are even less of a concern to Imperial authorities than those of residents.

Homosexuality illegal
1a) Is committing sexual activities with a person of the same sex criminalised under the law? No, it's just... very unusual. Those who habitually engage in homosexual activities can be asked to seek professional aid, but certainly not legally proscribed.
b) Are offenders of the law punished by a jail term beyond 10 years, execution, torture, et cetera? See above.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? See above. One law that does apply strictly, however, is keeping Sidhae out of it - visitors are strictly forbidden from promoting their way of life to the Sidh populace or soliciting Sidhae to practice whatever it is they are practicing that isn't also an accepted part of Sidh lifestyle.

Pride banned
1a) Are LGBT pride parades illegal in your country? Yes. Considering how these events both promote an un-Sidh lifestyle and are used as political tools by groups and ideologies antagonistic to Sidhae and their ways, pride parades are forbidden along with any other such foreign ideological propaganda.
b) If not, are such pride parades common in your country? See above.

Locals hostile
1. What is the percentage of the population that believes homosexuality should not be accepted by society? Sidhae in general view sexuality as nothing more than a pleasant triviality at best and useless distraction at worst. The exact variety matters little to them. Since all of them are designed to be heterosexual, as would also be the overwhelming majority of cases in a naturally-bred population, and only few become homosexual through genetic quirks, hormonal disbalance, traumatic events or any combination thereof, most Sidhae see homosexuality as a flaw, a harmless and somewhat trivial one, but a flaw nonetheless.

Sidhae are, however, actively opposed to the idea that homosexuality, being a flaw, should be embraced rather than deemed a disorder. This idea has un-Sidh political connotations, so while a homosexual who remains discreet about his preferences will be tolerated, one who sows discord by actively promoting them and campaigning for special recognition can expect to be met with hostility.
2. Are LGBT related activities welcomed or shunned by society in general? No. As said before, sexual deviance is viewed as a flaw, not something to be proud about or bragged with. Someone who chooses to live with his flaw rather than treat it will not be despised for his unusual choice, but that will change the moment this person becomes vocal about his flaw, promoting it as something desirable and fashionable.

Persecution
1a) Have there been reported acts of persecution committed against LGBT minorities by the locals? No. Any incidents where known deviants are brutalized invariably occur for more serious reasons than unorthodox sexual orientation.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? No. The state media generally prefers to keep news about violence down, making brief mentions of such incidents at best, and only then in context of showing how valiantly and professionally the law enforcement handled the situation.

Murders
1a) Have there been reported murders of those who are part of LGBT minorities committed by the locals? Same as above. If someone in Sidh society is killed, it's most certainly over a more serious reason than one's sexual preferences.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? As with any kind of violence, the state media prefers to underreport murders rather than sensationalize them.

Death sentences
1a) Have there been reported executions targeted specifically at a person for committing activities related to the LGBT community/homosexual acts? No. While promoting un-Sidh ideas including homosexuality as a norm will be taken into account if someone is tried for subversive activities, it alone will certainly not be grounds for execution.
b) Are such executions glorified by the local media? Political show trials and consequent executions or banishments are widely broadcasted, and specify what un-Sidh ideas the defendant is accused of spreading among other things. Promoting sexual deviances, however, hardly ranks as the worst thing to be accused of - in fact, being convicted on such a count is the least concern to a political prisoner deemed dangerous enough to be given a show trial.

Miscellaneous*
Country's Estimated Number of Gay Gathering Places per 100,000 homosexual tourists: n/a; It's dubious the entire Imperium receives 100 000 foreign visitors total throughout the entire year. Neither do homosexuals resident to the Imperium keep any special gathering places, as that would be indiscreet and run contrary to the Sidh principle of discretion in private affairs.
Are there any questions regarding this questionnaire? If so, please tell us what questions you may have: Nope.

*Optional, it doesn't matter in this index.

*It is also curious that most of the marketing towards LGBTs goes specifically to lesbians for an industry that, as far as our experts at the Kitacho Institute know about Christianity, is most likely not legitimised under either the condemnation of adultery or the condemnation of sex before marriage by a religion that your government uses to inform its decisions on the LGBT community.

Tech level of nation: Early PMT
How prevalent is tourism in your nation? "Tourists outnumber citizens two to one." It is our primary industry.

Anti-discrimination legislation
1a) Are there any anti-discrimination laws that apply for all minorities? Yes. They are written into our constitution.
b) Are there any anti-discrimination laws applying specifically for LGBT minorities? Yes. They are written into our constitution.
c) How extensive do such anti-discrimination laws go? They are fundamental to our basic social structure.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? Yes.

Marriage/Partnership
1. Status of civil unions in your country: The government of Sadakoyama does not involve itself in the romantic affairs or religious beliefs of its citizens. There are no tax implications to pair bonding and healthcare is fully socialized. Any commitments people make to each other is the business of themselves, their karass ("extended family"), potential partners, and their friends.
2. Status of gay marriage in your country: Legal, but irrelevant.

Adoption Status
1a) Are homosexual couples able to adopt children? Yes.
b) Are there any conditions for homosexual couples to adopt? The same as for anyone.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? We do not allow out-of-towners to adopt our children. Sadakhan social structure is organized around an "extended family" unit, not necessarily based on kinship, called a karass. Adoptions and fostering within and between these units is very common. There is always someone willing and able to care for a child.

LGBT-Marketing
Does your country's travel companies market towards LGBT tourists? If it is appropriate and legal within their home nation. If they've got good STEM skills we're more likely to persuade them to immigrate here.

Equal Age of Consent
1. Age of consent for sex for heterosexual couples:
2. Age of consent for sex for homosexual couples:
Because people are different and develop at different rates, consent (like other aspects of maturity) is not tied to a specific age in Sadakoyama. Being legally recognized as an adult, including sexual consent, involves passing the strict high school examination, which includes not only academic achievement but a doctor and a psychologist certifying the individual meets physical, emotional, and psychological maturity benchmarks. This is all done under the aegis of the Department of Education. Gender identity and sexual preferences do not factor into this determination.

3. Is the age of consent different for tourists?
Sadakhan law and culture is intolerant of sex tourism. In order to avoid international incidents or legal complications and to prevent out-of-towners without an appropriate level of emotional maturity and/or psychological stability from trying to take advantage of our comparatively accelerated maturation, Sadakhan law holds tourists to the age of consent in their country of origin.

Religious influence
1a) Is there a state religion in your country? No. Religion is tolerated but not widely practiced. Believers are generally viewed as having an amusing personality quirk, similar to being overly fond of a television program or video game system.
b)(i) Does the state religion condemn acts of homosexuality? N/A
(ii) If so, does a majority of the population follow this religion? N/A
2. If so, does the state religion influence the government's decision on legislation regarding LGBT minorities? N/A

HIV-travel restrictions
1. Are citizens infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel beyond the country's borders? Yes, provided they are cured first.
2. Are foreigners infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel into the country's borders? Yes. Medical tourism is significant in Sadakoyama.
3. Are offenders who travel in or out of the country punishable by anything more than deportation under the law? If someone arrives infected, they will be held until they consent to treatment.

Anti-gay laws
1a) Are there laws that discriminate against minorities as a whole? No.
b) Are there laws that discriminate LGBT minorities specifically? No.
c) How extensive do such discriminatory laws go? N/A
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? N/A

Homosexuality illegal
1a) Is committing sexual activities with a person of the same sex criminalised under the law? No.
b) Are offenders of the law punished by a jail term beyond 10 years, execution, torture, et cetera? N/A
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? N/A

Pride banned
1a) Are LGBT pride parades illegal in your country? No.
b) If not, are such pride parades common in your country? Not really; but then parades in general aren't that much of a thing here.

Locals hostile
1. What is the percentage of the population that believes homosexuality should not be accepted by society? Below statistical significance. Anyone who feels like this usually just emigrates.
2. Are LGBT related activities welcomed or shunned by society in general? What constitutes an "LGBT related activity"?

Persecution
1a) Have there been reported acts of persecution committed against LGBT minorities by the locals? I've never seen or heard of one. Maybe? I don't read every single news item. I don't have the data to back up a definite claim there hasn't ever been, but I'd be really surprised.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? Certainly not.

Murders
1a) Have there been reported murders of those who are part of LGBT minorities committed by the locals? Not because of their gender status or sexual orientation, that I am aware. Most of what the world calls "murder" that occurs in Sadakoyama is the result of duelling, which is legal here (but rare). It is possible that someone may have at sometime engineered a duel because of someone else's gender status or orientation. If so, they used a pretext so it would be impossible to say for certain. Sadakoyama has extensive psychological and counselling services available as part of its free health care system, though, so a person that felt that strongly prejudiced would be able to get some help or just leave before it came to that.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? No.

Death sentences
1a) Have there been reported executions targeted specifically at a person for committing activities related to the LGBT community/homosexual acts? No.
b) Are such executions glorified by the local media? N/A

Miscellaneous*
Country's Estimated Number of Gay Gathering Places per 100,000 homosexual tourists: What is a "Gay Gathering Place"? LGBT persons just go to the same places everyone else does. I guess where ever they decide to meet up is the "Gay Gathering Place". I wouldn't know how to count that.
Are there any questions regarding this questionnaire? If so, please tell us what questions you may have:

*Optional, it doesn't matter in this index.

Tech level of nation: PMT
How prevalent is tourism in your nation? Very

Anti-discrimination legislation
1a) Are there any anti-discrimination laws that apply for all minorities? There are some laws mainly due to frontier provinces.
b) Are there any anti-discrimination laws applying specifically for LGBT minorities? Again, only necessary due to some frontier provinces, but yes.
c) How extensive do such anti-discrimination laws go? Fairly extensive.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? Why wouldn't they?

2. Status of gay marriage in your country: Legal.

Adoption Status
1a) Are homosexual couples able to adopt children? Yes.
b) Are there any conditions for homosexual couples to adopt? Adoption is always conditional, but homosexual couples do not have any extra conditions applied to them, no.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? All laws apply to everyone in the Empire.

LGBT-Marketing
Does your country's travel companies market towards LGBT tourirsts? Quite likely.

Equal Age of Consent
1. Age of consent for sex for heterosexual couples: Varies by province.
2. Age of consent for sex for homosexual couples: Varies by province, but always the same as age for heterosexuals.
3. Is the age of consent different for tourists? No.

Religious influence
1a) Is there a state religion in your country? No, although the Empress is openly very devout in her worship of Ithtyr.
b)(i) Does the state religion condemn acts of homosexuality? N/A
(ii) If so, does a majority of the population follow this religion? N/A
2. If so, does the state religion influence the government's decision on legislation regarding LGBT minorities? N/A

HIV-travel restrictions
1. Are citizens infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel beyond the country's borders? Yes, though it's advisable they get that treated first.

3. Are offenders who travel in or out of the country punishiable by anything more than deportation under the law? Offenders of what?

Anti-gay laws
1a) Are there laws that discriminate against minorities as a whole? Some religions are taxed at higher rates than others, but otherwise no.
b) Are there laws that discriminate LGBT minorities specifically? No.
c) How extensive do such discriminatory laws go? The religious ones are just tax codes. As mentioned, there are no discriminatory laws against LGBT minorities.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? ...if someone is earning enough money in the Batory Empire to count for tax purposes, they're no longer really a tourist...

1a) Is committing sexual activities with a person of the same sex criminalised under the law? Gods, no.

c) Do such laws apply to tourists? N/A

1a) Are LGBT pride parades illegal in your country? No.
b) If not, are such pride parades common in your country? Not especially. Homosexuality/bisexuality has never been that controversial in the core provinces, so pride parades are less necessary.

Locals hostile

2. Are LGBT related activities welcomed or shunned by society in general? Welcomed in the core provinces.

Persecution
1a) Have there been reported acts of persecution committed against LGBT minorities by the locals? Not in the core provinces, and only rarely in the frontier provinces, as it's widely known that that sort of thing gets the attention of the imperial government, who frown on such acts and will take measures to prevent them that the frontier provinces will find unpleasant.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? No.

Murders
1a) Have there been reported murders of those who are part of LGBT minorities committed by the locals? 1a) Have there been reported executions targeted specifically at a person for committing activities related to the LGBT community/homosexual acts? No.
b) Are such executions glorified by the local media? N/A

Are there any questions regarding this questionnaire? If so, please tell us what questions you may have: Given the number of questions that are rendered not applicable by answers to earlier questions, perhaps some thought should be given to revising this survey.

*Optional, it doesn't matter in this index.

Official Information
Name of person/organisation taking questionnaire: Cultural Liaison's Office
Name of nation: The Empire of Victorious Decepticons
Form of government: Military Dictatorship
Population: 12.8 Billion
Tech level of nation: FT, we're a space empire of sapient robots
How prevalent is tourism in your nation? Extremely Rare

Anti-discrimination legislation
1a) Are there any anti-discrimination laws that apply for all minorities? Only one: It is illegal to discriminate against any Decepticon with an alternate body plan, so long as that plan meets the Minimum Design Specifications of the Decepticon Body
b) Are there any anti-discrimination laws applying specifically for LGBT minorities? No
c) How extensive do such anti-discrimination laws go? There aren't any
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? N/A

Marriage/Partnership
1. Status of civil unions in your country: Extremely rare, but legal
2. Status of gay marriage in your country: No form of marriage or civil union is recognized by the State, but feel free to cohabit if you want. We really don't care.

Adoption Status
1a) Are homosexual couples able to adopt children? We discourage adoption by couples of any sort. Raising by committee works badly, just like coding by committee.
b) Are there any conditions for homosexual couples to adopt? *Anyone* who wants to adopt must certify that the offspring will be raised to follow the Decepticon Way. The adopter must also be a Decepticon citizen.
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? Tourists are not allowed to adopt. Decepticon offspring must be raised by Decepticons!

LGBT-Marketing
Does your country's travel companies market towards LGBT tourists? Any travel company that does not market a visit here as danger tourism is covering up material facts. That said, yeah, Decepticon tourism companies will say all sorts of BS to get suckers to buy in.

Equal Age of Consent
1. Age of consent for sex for heterosexual couples: If you can pass the sapience test, you're an adult regardless of physical age
2. Age of consent for sex for homosexual couples: Same as above
3. Is the age of consent different for tourists? In practice, there is no such concept for tourists, though officially, the same rules apply as for Decepticons.

Religious influence
1a) Is there a state religion in your country? Yes
b)(i) Does the state religion condemn acts of homosexuality? No, in fact, we doubt Divine Leader Megatron gave sexuality of any kind even the slightest bit of thought.

Robots can't get infected with any kind of biological disease, so there aren't any citizens with this bio-hack-program running.
2. Are foreigners infected with HIV/AIDS allowed to travel into the country's borders? Sure - we're robots, so it's not like we're going to catch it! Our human livestock is also DNA-patched to be immune to this, so our mines won't be at risk either.
3. Are offenders who travel in or out of the country punishable by anything more than deportation under the law? It's not illegal, so there are no offenders.

Anti-gay laws
1a) Are there laws that discriminate against minorities as a whole? Yes. Humans have the legal status of slaves, and we don't really care if other biologicals get thrown into the mines along with them.
b) Are there laws that discriminate LGBT minorities specifically? No.
c) How extensive do such discriminatory laws go? Biologicals have no rights whatsoever, and someone may even step on one for the lulz as long as nobody else owns it.
d) Do such laws apply to tourists? Yes, so tourists are well-advised to bring along heavy weaponry to discourage opportunistic bots who'll try to capture them and sell them into the mining system.

Homosexuality illegal
1a) Is committing sexual activities with a person of the same sex criminalised under the law? No.
b) Are offenders of the law punished by a jail term beyond 10 years, execution, torture, et cetera? Not illegal
c) Do such laws apply to tourists? Not illegal

Pride banned
1a) Are LGBT pride parades illegal in your country? Yes, because ALL forms of political pressure/protest are illegal, and they fall into this category.
b) If not, are such pride parades common in your country?

Locals hostile
1. What is the percentage of the population that believes homosexuality should not be accepted by society? 0.0001% or less. Who really cares about what biologicals do~?
2. Are LGBT related activities welcomed or shunned by society in general? Society in general knows almost nothing about sexuality and doesn't consider it one way or the other. If you ask the average bot on the street, he'd say, "Sex? Isn't that something biologicals do?"

Persecution
1a) Have there been reported acts of persecution committed against LGBT minorities by the locals? No
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? No. It wouldn't even make the news.

Murders
1a) Have there been reported murders of those who are part of LGBT minorities committed by the locals? We suppose that some of the millions of people who get pasted here every year were formerly-human LGBTs, but nobody really keeps track of that.
b) Are such acts glorified by the local media? Only glorious and intense Decepticon-vs-Decepticon battles get glorified by the media. The reasons behind the fighting are usually glossed over because everyone just wants to see the rad battle footage!

Death sentences
1a) Have there been reported executions targeted specifically at a person for committing activities related to the LGBT community/homosexual acts? No.
b) Are such executions glorified by the local media? N/A

Miscellaneous*
Country's Estimated Number of Gay Gathering Places per 100,000 homosexual tourists: There aren't 100,000 tourists, period! So, 0; there's not enough demand for any kind of tourist gathering places. Also, if we were you, we'd really watch it if a Decepticon business tried to get a bunch of humans to gather in one spot in our territory under any pretense. But you'd be welcome to fall for it visit en masse, regardless of your orientation.
Are there any questions regarding this questionnaire? If so, please tell us what questions you may have: What is it with you biologicals and sex, anyway?!?! You all need to go to Debugging for a recoding of your Priorities Routines.

*Optional, it doesn't matter in this index.
