That team reminds me of a concept I came up with ages ago. The EVAT or Extra-Vehicular Assault Team. It was a three man team operating from a small "taxi" which consist of a frame with seats, propulsion system, and maybe a gun pod. Team consisted of a pilot/team leader, and two mission specialists. Usually a marksman with Gyrojet launcher and a sapper. Never got around to drawing it though.

In other news I feel that the spacesuit I made, which I started out feeling meh about is becoming increasingly more meh. Dammit why do you guys have to be so good?

Mostly its the limbs. I pretty much gave up on the limbs. The folds on a soft suits limbs were a bitch to get right. I still intend to go back and redo those limbs at some point.

EDIT: Tweaked the helmet a bit. And redid the limbs. Also swapped god-awful beret for kill-it-with-fire snoopy cap.

Independent crews scrape out a living on the fringes of inhabited space, salvaging what they can from Universe War wrecks and occasionally engaging in light piracy. This fellow seems to prefer the latter activity - his heavy torso armour and shoulder-mounted missile rack suggest his place is at the front of the breaching team.

I have expanded my so far mediocre venture onto the figure bandwagon with a JG Style drawing of my EVAT. Unlike other space troops that have been posted they're intended for MT.
